I've had my computer for about a year now, I have purchased from an online retailer and had no problems with it until tonight. He says now this version of windows is not genuine and I have no idea what to do.

Follow the method to fix the .dll below error:
I suggest you run the checker of file system (CFS) analyze and check if it helps.
- Click Start, type command prompt or cmd in the box Search
- Right-click guest, and then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.
- At the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER: sfc/scannow
The sfc/scannow command will scan all protected system files and replace the corrupted files by a cached copy which is located in a compressed folder to %WinDir% \System32\dllcache.
The placeholder % WinDir % represents the Windows system folder. For example, C:\Windows.Note Do not close the command prompt window until the audit is completed 100%. The results of the analysis will be posted when this process is complete.

Windows vista not install updates, how can I solve this problem
I took my computer compaq running on windows vista & my windows updates will not install what can I do?
I have been working on this since April too and may not know how to solve this problem. Last update was in March. I used the MicrosoftFixit.wu.MATSKB.Run with no luck. He says that he can not solve the problem and leads to a MS web page, which doesn't help. I also stop the update services and several DLLs and then restarted them without success, according to a website of windows troubleshooting. I am not prepared to roll back, nor do I want to reload the operating system. If I do that, I'm going to Linux.

Latest updates installed Windows and now says my version of Windows is not genuine?
2 days ago I installed the latest updates for Windows 7 and Office 2010, and now I get a popup message saying that my version of Windows is not genuine. I've been using a genuine copy for more than 2 years, and he says the same under System properties that my version is real and active. I bought my pc second hand about 5 months ago and it was fine for some time but recently iv had this alert pop up saying my version of windows is not genuine, I entered the product key that is on my pc and it says that it is wrong. How is it that all of a sudden it is not authentic, and why my product key is not help check. I got my version of windows activated for about 3 years. I did a bunch of windows updates yesterday when he arrived to service pack 2, it installed and most of it then told me that my version of windows is not genuine. I'm also infallibly get error messeges that my installer of Modules of Windows has stopped working. I went to the windows genuine activation tool, and he said he couldn't tell if my windows was genuine or not. I have a sticker with the product key on the side of my computer. I tried to call the Activation Center by following the instructions to get the phone number, but my windows vista won't take me to the screen with the support of activation phone numbers.
