What sound driver to install?

Hello

Today, I uninstalled my audio driver through the Device Manager because it did not work properly. When I plugged in my headphones, sound still comes from my speakers. So I changed the default settings around. However, now every time its played on my computer, the volume control on my keyboard would go all funky and the volume level would be like 70 all of a sudden. After he stopped playing, keyboard volume control would be normal and everything is perfect, until I'm playing something again.

I tried to reinstall by using the "Add Legacy hardware" option in the Action menu. However, he didn't leave me, saying that "an error occurred during the installation of the device", and that "a device attached to the system does not work.

I look on this site for my system drivers, but whenever I try to install it, it says "your system does not meet the minimum requirements for this update. Update has been canceled. (9996) ' help, I don't know what to do, and I don't want either have no sound on my computer or do a system restore. "

PS: My edition is Windows 8.1.1 processor: Intel Core i - S CPU 53330 @ 2.70 GHZ

Thank you for the additional information.

Here is the audio driver for the computer update.

Please, click on "Thumbs Up +" if I helped you and click "Accept as Solution" If your problem is resolved.

I tried to reinstall the audio drivers, but it is not the case.

    Hello

Which Windows operating system you are using?
    It is Win XP?

As far as I know the Win XP SP3 contains the high Microsoft UAA bus driver audio driver defection and some patches and fixes.

If you use this system, I recommend that you install all service packs and patches first.
Then you need to uninstall the sound driver and rebooted again to install the driver that you can download from the Toshiba page.

Can you tell me what hard drive I'm able to install, such as what type of interface?
Do you also know if I can run windows 7?
and can you tell me if I installed a larger hard drive and a new operating system will be my original toshiba product recovery disk work.

    Hello

I m not a Satellite M70 owner but as far as I know this laptop comes with SATA drives. But you can check yourself if you remove the HARD drive and then you can see which interface it is.
If you have a SATA interface, you can buy each HARD drive you want. On interface SATA there is no capacity limit.

Normally you can install Windows 7 but it s not released yet. Theoretically, it should work but I'll wait until it's official market.

With a new HARD disk, you use the Toshiba recovery disc too. Why not? It s not dependent on the HARD drive you have so just boot make up and follow the instructions on the screen.

If you have any other questions, please let us know. :)

    Hello

You need two cables, one is a sata cable:

    http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/30305659/706331346/STARTech-com-6in-SATA-to-right-angle-SATA-serial-ATA-cable-female-SATA-female-SATA-6-inch-red/ListingDetails.html?_%24JA=TSID:13315% 7Ccat: 30305659% 7Cprd: 30305659 & kw = {keyword}

This cable is only for data and connect the hard drive to the SATA connector on the motherboard.

    The other cable is energy:

    http://www.itpartsdirect.com/STARTech-15-24cm-4-pin-Molex-to-SATA-power-cable-adaptor.html

It connects the hard drive to the PSU.

You can also buy a combo like this cable:

    http://www.Amazon.co.UK/DP/B00064GBT4/?tag=hydra0b-21&hvadid=9550951989&ref=asc_df_B00064GBT4

All you have to do is to connect the hard drive and that's it. Make sure that the main drive with the operating system is connected to the primary SATA connector (I think there are the numbers 1, 2, 3...)

  • HP Compaq nx9110: HP Compaq nx9110 no sound driver! Help

    Hello guys.

I can't find the driver for my HP Compaq nx9110 laptop... I use the operating system: Windows XP. There is no driver for the sound on the HP site with driver.  I have download Realtek but his does not work. Help please.

    Hello:

The screenshots you provided indicate that the correct audio driver is installed.

I can't read Polish, so I do not know what the settings mean.

You can try to change one of the parameters to the other device listed.

The other driver, you need for bluetooth is that one...

    http://h20566.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?sp4ts.Oid=395748&swItemId=ob_24183_1&swEnvOid=1093

If you have a pair of headphones, connect to the audio output jack and see if you have sound.

If you do, there is probably a motherboard issue.  No power to the speakers.

This happened to me on my nc8000.  The audio showed everything was normal, but there was no sound.

If I pressed hard on the palm rest near the keyboard, sometimes I could get his work.

After some time, even pressing the Palm, I might not have the sound from the internal speakers.

The sound continuously worked well with a helmet, so I assumed that there was a problem with the connection from the speaker to the motherboard.
