You have an Nvidia GPU in your system?

If so, you have installed a Nvidia driver with a serious bug in it.

Contact NVidia to see if you can use their beta driver, or if you need to download an older driver to avoid this bug.

  • Whenever I start my computer, I get the blue screen of death. I'm not getting in what concerns the opening of session and there is no prompt to start in safe mode. Whenever I start my computer the error code and message on blue screen are different.

    I have Windows Vista Home Premium. I was on the internet when my computer screen turned blue and a message told me that a problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down. He said that I had tried to do something with memory executable not executable (I don't have a note of the code). He said as he poured out memory. Now, whenever I start, the blue screen of death gives me different messages and different error codes. Today, he says:

    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    and codes of error STOP: 0x0000000A (0x0000001B, 0 x 00000600, 0x810A90B0, 0x00000001).

    PC World say that they need to reinstall Windows, but I have some really really important files on there that I have not supported (I know, really stupid on my part) and they said they cannot guarantee their recovery. Is there another way to fix it?

    I've been on the forums and suggestions involve me to be able to connect to my computer. Blue screen hits me before I can log on, and there is no prompt to start in safe mode.

    Thank you very much!

    Try this to save your data:

    Data recovery:

    1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.

    2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.

    3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

    http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html

    Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
    Download the Vista software from the link above.
    After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
    Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
    Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1 in the boot order.
    Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
    When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
    Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
    Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
    Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
    See you soon.
  • Why do I get the blue screen of DEATH most of the time when I try to print on my HP Office Jet printer?
    Why do I get the blue screen of DEATH most of the time when I try to print on my HP Office Jet printer?  Almost everytime I try to print to the printer HP Office Jet m I get the Blue Screen of Death in the middle of printing or shortly after that my document is printed.  I then have to shut down my computer and restart it.  I am running Windows 7.
    We need the log files themselves (called a DMP files) because they contain the only record of the sequence of events that led to the accident, what drivers have been loaded, and what has been loaded.
  • When I print, I get the blue screen of death.
    I'm running an Asus U47A, intel i7, 8 GB of ram.  Bought a printer cheap for the College, the printer HP Deskjet 1000 J110a (printer of $ 30 million).  Please don't tell me I'm cheap and I should have bought the model upward, it would not be useful.  Whenever I have print or the print job will complete successfully, either during the print job, my PC will crash and gives me the blue screen of death.  What should I do? I uninstalled the printer drivers, reinstalled them, check the updates, and install them directly from the HP site... you name it.  I am ready to throw my head through the wall because I need to print frequently and having my computer crash in the middle of a document is not what I need.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you very much.
    In addition, the issue may be the iusb3xhc.sys:
    Bugcheck 1E, {0, 0, 0, 0}
    WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for iusb3xhc.sys
    ERROR: Module load completed but symbols can be loaded for iusb3xhc.sys
    The iusb3xhc.sys, which is dated December 5, 2011 is an Intel USB 3.0 driver.
    Try to update the iusb3xhc.sys by installing the next update:
    http://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=21129
    The same error was reported by other users, as in the following link:
    http://www.SevenForums.com/crashes-debugging/236644-BSOD-mostly-when-printing-photos-Ntoskrnl-exe-iusb3xhc-sys.html
    If the error persists, try the printer on another USB port such as the USB 2.0 port.
    You might also uninstall the Intel USB 3.0 driver and let the USB ports operate at 2.0 speed as which seems to have stopped errors blue screen in the link above for a user.
    Also, another printer, not necessarily a more expensive, but a different brand or model may not exhibit the same problem.
    You might try using a printer if possible.
    Jamie,
    If you still experience this problem then there are a few things you can try to start with and also some other information, we could use.
    We need to know things:
    What version of Vista and what service pack level.
    The game that you are trying to read.
    The full error message.
    You can try things:
    Make sure that the program is compatible with Vista. Windows Vista Compatibility Center
    Make sure that there is no infection virus\malware.  This thread has some great information: get rid of malware
    Run the Windows Memory Diagnostic and make sure that it is not a problem with your RAM.
    Perform a clean boot of your system and then run the program.
    Make sure that your graphics driver is up to date.  Update a driver
    When I connect my x220t to my 47 "HDTV via hdmi with HDMI / display port adapter, the image comes back, but it is not the right proportions. I'm trying to solve this problem by going to the screen resolution or graphics properties, but as soon as I change a setting in both, my x220t shows the blue screen, or just no picture at all and must restart. I have connected to my 25 "monitor hd via hdmi and hdmi for display adapter port so those who are not the problem. Help please!
    You can try to boot mode safe (repeatedly press F8 during startup).  Somehow, I don't think it works well.
    If this does not work, then you need start the console recovery and perhaps running a disk with the /F option verify operation undertakes to repair the problem.
    If you need to back up all the data on your machine, you can create and start from a CD bootable for example BartPE, UBCD4Win, Hiren Boot CD or a live CD Linux such as Knoppix.  This will allow you to back up files on a USB key or via the network as a final step before reinstalling Windows.
    Could be a nuisance pilot. Update your drivers manually looking at system manufacturer and
    Sites of the manufacturer of the device.
    This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:
    This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:
    -Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For
    each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description,.
    version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html
    For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
    Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
    video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
    cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
    This will refresh the driver stack.
    Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
    own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.
    Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
    (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
    updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)
    Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.
    Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
    because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
    pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.
    Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.
    Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    This leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who are generally older and cause
    You have recently installed a USB printer?
    In any case there may be a problem with the USB stack in Windows XP Service Pack 3 so I recommend you to install the following fix can correct a problem of 'timing' of USB that can be useful for the error you receive:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/969238
    There is a link at the top of the article to request the hotfix.
    There was a driver of Synology (busenum.sys) loaded during the crash, but it does not appear to be involved in the accident.
    You can try those Microsoft committed the 'experts' ideas Support Engineer (1, 2, 3) for safe, clean boot Mode, Online Scanner, but I think that most of the people who know how XP would recognize that there is no component 'V protect' in Windows XP and a simple search Google reveals that your problem is with your AVG software and has nothing to do with Windows XP.
    You should look in their forums (like me) and here's what they suggest:
    Vprotect belongs to AVG Security Toolbar.
    Please try to run repair installation using the latest installation package.
    If the problem persists, please follow all the steps in the instructions to complete reinstallation .
    I think that if I were you, I would follow the instructions on the page AVG to uninstall and reinstall your AVG because there may be other parts of AVG who are afflicted that you have not yet discovered, but in AVG, some people with V forums protect problems find that AVG repair install works.
