  (2) remove and return Service directories

Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  It's very very interesting... I suspect the one who talked you to ATT was not (I'll be gentle) adequate training. Contractually, end users have no way to try to contact BlackBerry directly for anything (well, not for free). Rather, the carrier should worsen your BlackBerry case and provide you more information (for example, a file number)... but just to give you a phone number means (I'm sorry), the person gave you att, because this isn't how the support system. And it's actually a bit surprising... all the reports I've heard indicate ATT to get a best trained support groups for BB to anyone... but maybe they skate.

If you did the update via attached USB on your PC (for example, no OTA), search your hard drive for a file with an extension of the RPI (*.ipd). Inspect the results (date/time of the file) and choose the one to use in the restore. Then, run the DTM software and perform a selective restore:
