I suggest to connect the hard drive, then try to run the security analysis. You may need to disable all autorun feature, if you use the drive. Then, try to perform security analysis and check if you have any viruses or malware present.

    Method 2:

You can also perform a clean boot and check if you can open the hard disk properly. To perform the clean boot follow step 1 mentioned in the article below, and then try again check in the clean boot state -

  • New installation of Windows XP Home edition on Qosmio F20 - sound card errors

    Hello

I am one of those who is very reckless on internet and download a lot of spam and viruses along the way. I keep, but I'm also obsessive compulsive on the backup of my important files, so when my computer flip out on me, I just wipe it clean and continue!

I stick to windows XP because some software I use still does not work on Vista, and I also install a completely new copy of XP instead of recovery as bundles of Toshiba with my laptop. Why? Because I lost it...

Anyway, I've been tracking the drivers to get the last bits of the material work and all seem to work well! The only problem I have is with the (Yes, you guessed it!) sound card driver!

I have a Qosmio F20 and have no idea of what sound card is actually inside this thing, I have always used SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio drivers and they do most of the work very well, but they seem to have problems when I try to use Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 and Soundbooth. Both programs complain that there is no sound card and then refuse to open,

As far as I know, the driver that I use is by 'Analog Devices' and v5.12.1.5240. I don't know if it's really any help at all!

Does anyone know which driver is correct to use and where to find it, or is the fault, I have just an inevitable?

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Pav

    Hello Pav

Have you installed Windows XP Home with Service Pack 2 included?

On the Toshiba download page, there is a driver available and I do not understand why you think that this is not the right one. The same driver will be installed if you use recovery CD/DVDs.

  • I'm a small window that says "object error" that is blocking my computer. How can I get rid of this?

The 'object' error only appears when I access some Web sites.  Some sites seem to be OK.

    Hi Grudly,

    Welcome to the Microsoft community!

According to the description provided, looks that you want to remove a pop up message that says error of the object. The probable cause of this problem could be a script error.

However, please answer this question which should help us to provide a better solution.

    What browser do you use?

I have a couple of steps that should help you to solve this problem.

    Try these methods and check.

    Method 1:

Use the Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) mode and check the issuance

To do this, click Start, point to programs, point to Accessories, point to System Toolsand then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).
If this resolves the problem, follow these steps to isolate the browser add-on that is causing the problem:
    a. click Toolsand then click Internet Options.
    b. click programs , and then click Manage Add-ons.
    c. click an add-on in the name list, and then click disable.
    d. Repeat step 3 until you identify the add-on that is causing the problem.

    Method 2:
Try to open the Web page in compatibility mode. For more information on compatibility view, see How to use Internet Explorer 9 compatibility view.

    Method 3:

  • Installation of Windows Vista SP2x86 gives error 80004005

I use a older laptop for the first time in a while. It works in Vista, but I have never updated to SP1 to SP2. When I try, I get this:

    Installation status: failed
    Error details: Code 80004005
    Update type: Important
So after flipping around for a bit, I finally had a solution that seemed a little helpful to someone on some forums. They told me to run the system preparation tool and check what errors there were, and then from there I just needed to correct mistakes.  The only problem is that I have no idea how fix the errors. What I get is:
Preparation of control system was updated.

I don't know exactly how to fix either of these two problems. When I asked again on the forum, I've never had all the answers, so I decided that I would try to ask here. In addition, this in fact will help me update of Vista? If it's a mistake, I want to fix, but if it is not relevant to the problem with the update, then I would get an answer to this, also.

    Hello

This problem is specific to the Service pack update? You are able to install some other updates?

    Method 1
When you install SP2 to Vista, Vista SP2 Setup must update the system startup files. If the third-party disk management tools are used to "clone" disks or partitions, the SP2 Setup program will be unable to identify the correct system startup files.
To work around this problem, turn off the computer and physically disconnect all the readers who are not required to start Windows. Turn on the computer, and then restart the installation of the service pack.
For more information, see the article:
Service pack Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 install fails with error 0x80004005:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/971204/

    Method 2
I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and try t install the update.

Note: After a repair, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the Knowledge Base article.

    Method 3
Try to install the service pack from the link and let us know the status of the issue.

  • Help! Project opens, saying javascript errors

    Hello

I was working on a project, and now it does not open. It gives me the error: "failed to load, please check your page to find JavaScript errors. I opened the js files in Dreamweaver and chrome to inspect the item and there seems to be no error of syntax that is called the. I tried to comment the code as well and reopen and it does not work. All I did was save new instances of a chart and change the size of the stage when I closed it. I even restarted my computer, but still cannot open the project. I did not nothing to the js files if not sure what the problem is

Can someone please please help me?

    -Kristie

It seems that you have changed the name of the symbol definition, after that you have instantiated on the stage.

And the name of this symbol is: "custServ_Txt", and even if it is instantiated on the stage, his name is 'custServTxt '.

Thus, on line 124 # in the file zapposWinter_edge.js, if you change the line:

    NomSymbole: "custServTxt."

    TO

    NomSymbole: "custServ_Txt."

    then things work perfectly.
