When I right click, right-click menu opens, but is on the left side. How to make it right?
When I right click on the menu, the menu bar drop-down click menu to open correctly, down to the right of the mouse pointer, but the problem I have is that where never otherwise I right-click such as office, for example, menu opens downwards and to the left of the mouse pointer. It is very annoying and I have found no way to change this. It worked very well upward until a week ago. I did not alter the settings by default and even tried the "reset default" option under settings of the mouse, but still did not set. Help, please!
I found the answer to this, and here's how to solve this problem, if anyone else needs it. I think, in the last update, it changed side menu under the Tablet PC settings. Here's how to fix it:
Click Start, type Tablet PC settings
Click on the Tablet PC settings link from the start menu search results
In the Tablet PC Settings dialog box, under handedness, selectleft-handed.
When this option is selected, the context menus appear on your right, which is the default setting. The only exception is that when there is not enough real estate available on the right to display screen context menu, Windows displays the menu on the left hand side automatically.

Right-click menu changed: used to be the first "Open link in a new window", "Open link in a new tab" second; in 4.0, the opposite is true. Can I customize 4.0 to switch back?

You must update the following (your versions have known security problems):

I'll have to page open in the browser, and when I click on a particular bookmark it always opens in the same browser, but as a second page on the left side of the page. How can I stop this from happening - there is apage that I need to visit often for business and it is very limiting.
Opening in the sidebar is the default value for the bookmarks created via a link or a button on a Web site.
You can view the properties of a bookmark using the context menu in the side bar (Ctrl + B; Cmd + B on Mac).
In the Bookmark Manager (bookmarks > organize bookmarks) you can click on the button more in the lower details pane on the right.
Make sure "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is not selected.

Since I installed Firefox 10.0 when I open my favorites, I get a side window that opens and stays open when I click on a bookmark. I must return to the icon at the top to close the side window. In the past when I would get the bookmark drop down which disappears when I clicked on a bookmark. Is there a way to go back to the way that it used to be?
Looks like you are using the toolbar icon that opens the bookmarks in the sidebar and not button Menu bookmarks with the drop marker that opens the menu drop down.
Versions of Firefox 4 + have two buttons bookmark with a star in the window customize.
A single star button has a marker to drop that open Bookmark menu.
The other star button without the marker drop open bookmarks in the sidebar. You can drag the button customize menu bookmarks with the marker in the window in the palette of the toolbar on a toolbar (for example, the Navigation bar) or the tab bar or on the left side of the bookmarks Menu items.

I've just updated my Firefox version 15.0 browser on my MacBook. I'm really used to having the tabs under the address bar. However, when I Ctrl-click on a blank section of the band to tabs, there no option "Tabs" at the top on the shortcut menu.
Any suggestion on how to find this option would be appreciated.
That changed in 15 Firefox and is now a hidden preference; the default is for tabs on top to be on. To disable the tabs on top, you use about: config. The instructions are the last item on the next page. I've also included a link on how to use about: config

This window looks weird: there are 2 blue bars (the blue top bar - normally, there are 1, with the name of the current page and - Mozilla Firefox written in white within the bar) as well as in the 2nd bar there is an orange firefox, on the left side button.
I already asked this question and advised to start in safe mode - that did not help either.
Please help me quickliy, it's really annoying.
Thank you

When I have a pdf file open, I used to be able to click on the "Bookmarks" tab on the left side and allow me to click on every page and delete if I had to. Now when I click on the Bookmarks tab, this section is empty. How can I show him each page once again?
Hi chrismarks1,
I think you can be confused bookmarks with thumbnails. If you click on the miniatures Page icon (the one above the bookmarks icon), you can delete a page by clicking on its thumbnail, clicking the delete page (icon of the Recycle Bin). Just make sure that you see the PDF file in Acrobat (rather than Acrobat Reader), you cannot remove the drive pages.
Best,
Sara

By clicking on the menu, the list appears on the left side?
I've never had this problem before, don't know if I touched protected by some kind of key or something.
When I click on all the menus from the top, (like file, edit, Image, etc.), the menu that opens appears on the side LEFT of the cursor of the mouse. Normally, she appears on the right. Kind of how it would look if you reduced the program window and clicked on a menu. Not a problem, but it of a little annoying, how can I fix?

Hi, Mylenium's right.
I'm not aware of any changes that I made myself, but the same problem (for this minute so far) was caused by checking the settings of the Tablet PC > others > Pen hold (translation of the Czech version, may be different). It has been verified (which is right) that I am writing with the right hand, but it means that the menus show on the left side. I therefore had to change to the left - right hand. Apparently, there is some conflict between this and some other settings in Win. So far, I see the menus in Photoshop are on the right side, but I hope this setting with the left hand will not cause any problem.

Whenever I click on a link, a new window opens. That's good, that's what I wanted. They always opened up on the left side of the screen. However, they now open in the middle of the screen. It's already happened and the screen finally opened completely on the right. Last time this happened, I ended up having to remove something. I don't know what, but it solved the problem. Help, please!

How can I configure my computer to the simple click with the mouse to double-click to open an item on the desktop instead
Hi placebow,
Open the Options folder by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, appearance and personalization, and then clicking Folder Options. On the general tab, click single-click to open an item. (To return to the standard click, click double-click to open an item.)
The setting applies not only at the office, but also in other areas of the shell.
