  Thanks for your reply. The problem seems to be a damaged printer driver. I tried to print from my laptop computer rather than my PC and that worked OK. I downloaded the latest driver for the Epson 3880 but then find that the print spooler has become invalid. When I restarted the print spooler, everything worked again and I'm able to print as usual.

  When I try to print from a specific website on Mozilla Firefox, the browser crashes. Before that the settings of the printer had been reset to set a new default printer from the browser. I have reset the browser again, updated the browser, confirmed that other browsers will print on this site for this printer and that other sites will be Mozilla, and yet this site continues to crash. I deleted cookies, hard reset, soft reset both the printer and the computer. Any tips?

  I can't print the Windows Photo Gallery photos: failure of the Document to print - load plain paper.  I reloaded paper, updated printer drivers and called Dell technical support, who said it was a software isue since I can print other documents as well as photos from Photoshop Elements. I get the same message when I try to print from painting and the image viewer. Looks like a problem of microsoft.
  My printer is Dell V515w and is 4 months old.
  Even if I can use Photoshop Elements, it is easier to use the Windows Photo Gallery.  Any ideas?

  Please follow the steps below to reset the photoshop preferences.

  > Hold down Option + command + shift (Mac OS) when you start Photoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings. New preferences files are created the next time you start Photoshop.

  Note: Using the hotkey, preference files for custom shortcuts, workspaces, and color settings will also reset to the default.

  If you are still facing the same issue, please uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers and check for the issue.
