  I can't print the Windows Photo Gallery photos: failure of the Document to print - load plain paper.  I reloaded paper, updated printer drivers and called Dell technical support, who said it was a software isue since I can print other documents as well as photos from Photoshop Elements.   To resolve this problem, first check whether the feature 'Turn on disk write caching' is lit. If it is enabled, disable it. To do this, follow these steps.

  To disableActivate the disk write cache, follow these steps:

  1. click onStartand then click my computer.

  2. right click on the hard drive, and then clickProperties.

  3. click on thehardware tab.

  4. Click to select the hard drive, and then clickProperties.

  5. click on thepolicies tab.

  6 clear the boxenable the disk write cache , and then click OK.

  7. clickOK to close the disk Local (c) properties dialog box.

  8. Repeat steps 3 through 5 for each hard disk that is installed on your computer

I can't print... it keeps saying "Communication not available" and check the box bidrectional.  I check, hit apply, then ok, but then when I go back into the properties of the printer it is more verified. :(
