When sending email e-mail remains in the Outbox and is sent over and over again unless I'm deleting it. It does not move to sent box

My Internet service provider said that it is not a problem of them

Can I assume that the e-mail program, you did not mention is Outlook Express?

You have apparent dbx file corruption.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. • If I try to send an e-mail, it remains in the Outbox, showing never sent, but he sends several times.

Using Outlook Express 6 on windows XP

When I send an email with an attachment or meet one of my Inbox of the message send by the end of the progress bar, then I get a yellow warning triangle (no error code) and the seat of message in the Outbox to be sent whenever I have send and receive.

Messages are released (several times which is annoying people), but remain in Outbox marked as pending until I delete them.

I disabled my McAffee analysis email, but problem remains...

    Help!

Found a solution, delete all messages in sent items, and deleted messages.

It would seem that it is a problem of storage.

I created an archive folder to keep sent messages, I need then deleted the rest.

This seems to have solved the problem. : )

  • When I send a message it gets stuck in the Outbox and won't unless I click on the message until it is "BOLD" with a print, then delete.

Forwarded messages or new messages are not automatically leave and get stuck in the Outbox.  If I leave it alone, I get a message that there was an error and the message could not be sent.  However, if I leave the message stuck in the Outbox, the message gets actually released several times until I have go into the Outbox and delete the message.

Compacting files try one at a time.

    To defragment:

Start | All programs | Accessories | System Tools | Disk Defragmenter. Just above that you'll also see disk cleanup. I was running first and also in the other Options tab, the third option to get rid of old that take place of restore points.

  • Thunderbird stops for one minute with the symbol of the waiting and then returns an error message on a script does not? CAUSED: By McAfee

Thunderbird stops especially when you write a message, displays the circle waiting and finally back with a message on a script does not properly. The choices are stop script or continue, the choice is obviously stop. It's embarrassing, I have set up with the same problem with XP on Thunrderbird and on Firefox and supposed to with Win 8.1 this would go, I was wrong. It is a standard installation of you bird, have not had the problem again with F'fox.

Thanks for the info, I intend to replace McAfee but looks, as norton may have the same problem or a similar problem and is probably what is causing issues with XP. E machine XP will disappear but will have to solve on the new machine.
Once again thanks for the info.

I have a request for a phone number in my HTML code in my database which is automatically filled with the correct sales phone number when sending emails. I create HTML code in dreamweaver and then put the code in my e-mail program. I need to make the phone number in the clickable query. I know the code to do it well not in a query. What is the code?

As far as I saw, most of the smartphones will automatically recognize it these days, as long as the number is written in a format of regular phone number. This format also allows to make images or text other than a telephone number in a tap to call the link.

Looking at what you have presented I guess it would be something along the lines of...

    urmcell>>">urmcell >

When the location of the link and the link text would be the same variable.

I've never worked with Intelliclick so above is a wild guess. They would be those who need to ask themselves if there is a way to fill in the address of a link like that.

  • When sending emails to the account of my three children, the emails are just be stuck in the Outbox.

Original title: Emails stuck in the Outbox in Outlook

In the Outlook of my three children accounts, they can not send emails to anyone other than a handful of family members.  I suspect it's a left block by when the parental control of Microsoft allowed us to control the addresses they could send to.  But that feature has been removed, but it feels as if the 'blocks' are still in place.  This leaves us not use their accounts to mail to friends, teachers, etc.

Can someone help me remove these blockages?

    The symptoms are very clear:

    1. in all accounts, I can send an email to my own or my wife Outlook account.  Here are the addresses that we allowed long to the parental control of Microsoft.

    2. immediately after, if I try to send an email to a different address (for example, to my e-mail address of work that I never "allowed" back in the day), the email goes directly into the Outbox and sits there without error.

    3. what happens on our iPhones, iPads and PCs; so, it is not related to the browser, any cache problem, etc.

    Help, please.

    David

    Hi David,

Thank you for waiting. Our support specialist has made some adjustments on the accounts of the child. Please try to send emails using these accounts and then inform us of the results.

    Kind regards.

Yesterday at about 7.25 GMT my hotmail address has been used to send emails 8, each of them the maximum number of addresses possible for a single e-mail, covering between them all the addresses in my address book.

Each of the 8 mails had an attachment, which resembled a hot link to the web. Each of the links 8 web was different, but all have the feb.php extension. People who have actually opened the emails said web pages did not exist yet, but no doubt the web link contained a malicious link.

One of the recipients was my wife, and today his hotmail address has been used in the same way. Between the whiles we had bought Spybot software and he had met PC everything and got rid of suspicious data, so I am puzzled that this always happening to my wife. I changed my hotmail password and it will soon change his, but all of our recipients will have to do the same thing, or is it too late?
