When usng Windows Fax and Scan, how can I scan a document of several pages to a single file or folder?
I'm trying to analyze a statement of income, and when I scan a page, I don't seem to be able to the scanner in a single folder. Each page shows up as a separate item?
I tried to download the HP software but it was rejected because the Windows Fax and Scan was already installed on my new PC.
This seems rather odd. Can you give us the complete error message without paraphrase?
You should not delete Windows Fax and Scan in order to install the manufacturer's software.
What version of Windows is installed? 32-bit or 64-bit?
Assuming you have Windows 7, is it upgraded to Vista or come pre-installed with Windows 7 computer?
Although I have not used, HP provides a 'printer Install Wizard"for Windows 7 and 8 which is supposed to help you obtain and install the appropriate--> http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-115766-2&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&os=4063&product=1146331&sw_lang= driver

Hello
A plus sign (+), not x. Anyway, if you wish, you can use the following product:

This free product allows you to divide a large file to many small files (such as the extraction of the chapters of a thick book) and also merge several pdf files into a pdf file.
Kind regards.

Help with registration of the PDF when using Windows Fax and Scan
When I use the Windows Fax and Scan, I'm trying to scan a document and then save it as a PDF file. What happens is when I save it, it opens Adope Photo Shop and will not let me save it as a PDF. How can I scan a document and then save it as a PDF in Windows 7.0?
If you have Word 2007 or later, you can scan it, then save it as a PDF. Works fine for me. I have a Canon LIDE 100 scanner, I bought for $50, which will also scan directly to PDF.
I hope this helps. Good luck.

Windows fax and scan only saves the first page
When I use the windows fax and scan pages to analyze. You can get an overview of all the multiple pages scanned, but what emailing or save you then cannot see the first page.
Hello
If you're using a scanner with a charger of documents and Windows Fax and Scan, you can scan multiple pages into a single file of scanning to the TIFF (.tif) file format. For more information, see:
Scan a document or photo with Windows Fax and Scan
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/scan-a-document-or-photo-with-Windows-fax-and-scanIf you use Windows Fax and Scan and a flat bed scanner, you can scan multiple images to separate files probably. Not all scanners flat have this ability, so you may need to contact the manufacturer of the scanner to get a driver so that your scanner flat may offer this option.

OfficeJet pro 8610: scanning of a document of several pages in a single file
I have an Office Jet Pro 8610 printer all-in-one. Here's my problem. When I scan a multi-page document scan up each page in a different file. I want to scan the document in a file so you can send an e-mail and save it. So far I have not figured out how this. What I am doing wrong?
Hello
Thank you for using the forum.
First of all, you need to install the software for your printer. You can download the software from this link, be sure to select the correct operating system and the "Download COMPLETE".
Once installed, you can start using the Scan software.
There is a Scan shortcut that allows you to 'Save as PDF '. This will scan all your documents in a single file.
Watch these videos that can be useful to your scanning needs.

How to scan a document of several pages in a single pdf file using the psc 2510?
I have Windows 7, but the downloadable drivers for this OS, I cannot scan to a pdf file.
Hi shepp066,
I understand that you have a PSC 2510 used with Windows 7 that you want to use to analyze PDF files.
Because your printer doesn't have any HP software for the operating system that you use I don't have a way for you to scan in PDF format. You want to look into some 3rd party scanning programs, and you can start by doing some research to CNET downloads because that's where I do a lot of my own research
Hope this helps, have a nice day!

My question is very simple: I believe! How can I remove scanners listed in Windows Fax and Scan App under 'Tools'-> 'Scan routing? This really should not be so dang hard when I do an install, and regedit, I looked at most of the places are to get rid of any residue. However, when I get back in Windows FAX and Scan, inevitiably I see printers / scanners way back when I bought this laptop.
I use Windows 7 Home Premium as my operating system.
I think I'll try the following:
Uninstall Norton & reboot
Reinstall your HP printer using the latest version of the full software features on HP site, preferably in the usb connection.
Test the printer or use HP diagnostics to test its operation, then uninstall HP printing via programs & features software.
Then use the HP utility to completely re - move
http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?CC=UK&LC=en&DLC=en&softwareitem=MP-49133-2
If all goes well, that should put an end to this
(With the help of uninstalling programs & features should remove the printer from the "Devices and Printers")

In Windows Fax and Scan, I can't get the Fax Status Monitor to open
When you send a fax status monitor does not open. I have activated Windows Fax and Scan feature and turn it on. I also deleted all the registry keys. I reinstalled the modem (everything is good). I have tested the phone line (everything is good). How can I fix Windows Fax and Scan? He has worked in the past. Should I reinstall Windows 7?
Hi Raoult,
Check the settings and fax and scan, try the following steps:
i. open Fax and scan
II. click on tools
III. Select fax settings and click on the monitoring tab
Click the following to adjust how to be informed about the status of a fax sent or received. By default, all notifications (appearing under the name of pop - up balloon notes), fax settings of the monitor and sound options are enabled
IV. ensure you that you check all the options listed in the below location (under notifications and Fax Monitor)
