Your answer showed no once again, but here are a few things to check:

    1. If you hold down the SHIFT key and then connect your camera that should stop the pse to open.

Then go into workstation, do a right-click on the camera (by car), select Properties > AutoPlay and you should be able to change what is happening.

    2. glance in the organizer of items in photoshop under Edit > Preferences > camera and card reader and see if the start automatically is checked.

  • How can I access my personal files of XP by plugging the HARD drive to another computer?

Windows XP installed a updated my XP Thursday and prompted me to restart. When I did and windows tried to start again, he immediately projected blue. If I try to start in one of the different safe mode options, the system hangs and stops loading at all. So, basically, I can't access my files.

I just tried to connect up to another XP machine using a docking station USB for SATA drives and I can see the fine in car and home folders, but it won't let me access my user files "C:/documents and settings / ME", saying that I do not have access. I have a click right and searched around in properties options but can't see a prompt to put in my old XP password for access. Of course, this should be possible somehow, can anyone offer advice?

  • How to stop Lightroom starting upwards whenever a USB stick is inserted into the computer?

Hello world. I'm on windows 7 and I just started using lightroom 5. It's amazing! However a problem is that I have to stick to a USB in my computer and lightroom starts (when I'm not to use it or work in it). I'm constantly inserting and removing pen drives, so it gets a little irritating. Can I stop him doing that somehow?

    All the best

    Kevin

In Lightroom, Edit > Preferences > general tab > uncheck the option "see the import dialog when a memory card is detected."

If it does not, go to control panel > Autoplay and change the option for "Images" and "Mixed content" of "non-action".

  • Whenever I plug my Android phone, Windows sets a new network

I have a recent development between my Android phone and Windows 7. Whenever I plug my Android phone to my computer to download pictures of her, (I didn't put it up as a hotspot, blue tooth is off), Windows detects it as a new network and the pop up window appears asking me to identify if it is a home network, work network. My concern is that it is now 'Network 15', and next time it will be "16", etc. of the network.

Right now, it doesn't seem to be the cause of the problems, but if this continues, I will be 75 network, etc. 76 network. Is that eventually created a problem, and if so, does anyone know how to solve it if Windows can't detect my phone as a new network whenever I connect it?

Also, I've been digging into network connections, trying to find and delete all of these additional network connections that are created, and I can not locate them. I can't see them not listed anywhere under "network and sharing Center." Any suggestions on where they live?

Whenever I plug my iPhone into a USB port on my Toshiba laptop, I get a message «overload the hub» I tried to reset the ports using the Device Manager, but it does not work. Can someone help me solve this problem?

This means that the phone ends so much power that the ports are closed to avoid damage to your laptop.  Get a USB hub powered (the one that plugs into your computer and comes with an adapter to plug into the wall) to provide more power, or less plug items on your USB ports at the same time.

    Hey Pratik,

Thanks for posting your query in the Microsoft Community Forums.

According to the description of the problem, it seems that media player pauses and stops when you connect and reconnect USB portable HARD disk or by phone on Windows 7 computer.

If there is audio or video files on hard disk or USB and phone, Media Player will attempt to add to the library and so it can suspend or stop.

I suggest you run the Troubleshooter in Windows Media Player Settings and check if it helps.

This utility checks the configuration settings and network for Windows Media Player to ensure that you can play the content you downloaded and saved on your computer, or content streaming over a network or the Internet.

If the problem persists, or you have questions about Windows Media Player, do not hesitate to let us know. We will be happy to help you.
