  • Whenever I start my computer, I see the message, "C:\Windows1\Kjoralir.dll" is missing.

    Whenever I start my computer, I see the message, "C:\Windows1\Kjoralir.dll" is missing.  This happened for several months, but I just ignored him.  Don't know if it's related, but a user cannot disconnect without pressing the Windows key and the "L" key at the same time.

    Tonight I ran a registry repair program, and it fixed a lot of errors.  But, always, the message came after a reboot.  I don't know what it is, what it does or how to remedy the situation. Can anyone help?

    Thank you!

    You may have damaged even more by running a registry cleaner for Windows. The best registry cleaners are snake oil, and at worst they will damage MS Office and sometimes Windows itself. Details:

    For the problem, Googling for this file appears your post. When you get no hits for a filename on Google, chances are high that it is a malicious program file. Either you have uninstalled the malware program or your antivirus/antispyware program did. In all cases, a reference has been left in the boot file. You can remove the reference by managing your startup.

    Because you had a piece of malware, the chances are too high you had others. It would be a good idea to scan. I recommend to download and install MalwareBytes' anti-malware (MBAM) from http://www.malwarebytes.org . The program is free. (There is a paid version, but you don't need to buy it to remove the malware).

    Manage startup:

    (for XP) Start > run > msconfig [Enter]

    This will open the System Configuration utility. Look under the Startup tab and find the likely culprit. Uncheck the box next to its name, apply and OK out. You don't need to restart immediately, but next time you do, you will get a dialog box saying that you have used the utility. Just check the box that says in effect, "don't mind to this subject again".

  • Whenever I start my computer, I get the blue screen of death. I'm not getting in what concerns the opening of session and there is no prompt to start in safe mode. Whenever I start my computer the error code and message on blue screen are different.

    I have Windows Vista Home Premium. I was on the internet when my computer screen turned blue and a message told me that a problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down. He said that I had tried to do something with memory executable not executable (I don't have a note of the code). He said as he poured out memory. Now, whenever I start, the blue screen of death gives me different messages and different error codes. Today, he says:

    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    and codes of error STOP: 0x0000000A (0x0000001B, 0 x 00000600, 0x810A90B0, 0x00000001).

    PC World say that they need to reinstall Windows, but I have some really really important files on there that I have not supported (I know, really stupid on my part) and they said they cannot guarantee their recovery. Is there another way to fix it?

    I've been on the forums and suggestions involve me to be able to connect to my computer. Blue screen hits me before I can log on, and there is no prompt to start in safe mode.

    Thank you very much!

    Try this to save your data:

    Data recovery:

    1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.

    2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.

    3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

    http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html

    Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
    Download the Vista software from the link above.
    After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
    Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
    Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1 in the boot order.
    Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
    When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
    Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
    Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
    Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
    See you soon.
  • Whenever I start my computer, I get the message: "this file doesn't have a program associated with to perform this action...". »
    Whenever I start my computer, I get the message: "this file doesn't have a program associated with to perform this action...". "for my external drives.  I use these daily backup USB drives. It seems that the backup will run, if I acknowledge this message by clicking OK. If this is not the case - it won't. Why is that happening and how can I solve this problem?
    You can repair the associations used to readers.  One of my fellow MVPS, Shawn (no relationship lol) has default binding settings in his site here:
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/19449-default-file-type-associations-restore.html
    Just scroll down to find the link of 'reader', click it, and launches the link.  You can do the same thing with "folder" and "directory" to be thorough.
  • I need to reconnect my DAQ hardware, whenever I start my computer... Why?
    Hi, I'm Ricky, a process engineer intern at a company. I'm still new to LabVIEW and NI MAX. We have a cDAQ9181 set up for air tools and the other in place for an encoder. Now, whenever I start my computer the compressed air tool box is already connected, as expected. However, the encoder it is not. When I click on it in the sidebar, it lies and connects, but the encoder itself does not connect until I have perform a self-test. These devices have slept hip and connected from one day to the next and no issue performance - they must be connected as soon as the computer is on. Anyone know what is happening and how to fix this? I can try a picture if needed.
    Thank you for taking the time out of your day to offer some help value! -Ricky
    I did some research, and it may very well be that this is expected behavior.
    Before being able to run OR-DAQmx tasks on a network cDAQ chassis, you must book the current host system chassis. Through the 'test' you do, I think that it also reserves the chassis. When a chassis cDAQ and PC lost communication due to the system powering down, the chassis must be reserved by the system host again. 'Sleep mode' could also be a problem because most of the PC systems unplug or turn off ethernet after a certain period of inactivity. To avoid having to go through MAX OR book the chassis, you can use the "reserve Network Device.vi DAQmx' who book you the chassis cDAQ for the system calling the VI.
    Hello
    1. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?
    2. What is the version of the operating system that you are using?
    I suggest that you try following the steps mentioned below, that if you use Windows Vista and Windows 7 and check to see if it helps.
    Step 1: Check in SafeMode with network.
    You can also check if the problem persists in safe mode with network and check.
    Reference:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode
    If you are able to see the start icon, then executes the method 2.
    Step 2: Perform a clean boot and check.
    To help resolve the error message, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
    Hello
    I googled this file pofusido.dll and it could be caused by a virus.
    I would suggest that you disable the restore mode as viruses use it to reinstall set apart them.
    Download and install the free http://www.malwarebytes.org/
    Restart the computer and keep pressing F8 to get into safe mode with network connection.
    Once you have updated Malwarebytes run and see if it can remove the virus.
