  A few details about your suggestion...

  The problem is that the list of "Add or Remove Programs" is created by installers who follow some rules to be registered.  There is no a 'catch-all' when it comes to see what is installed and remove it.  The software maker has a command that, as the end user (one could easily remove things on this list with a simple record editing.)

  What I'm saying is that description what installed that depend on the software publisher with this description in and keep it updated when you install updates for the product.  As for its importance to the system, which greatly depends on your use of the system.  You were not very few (if any) in this list with a clean operating system installation.

  Also, it has been changed to "Programs and features" in the two full versions since the release of Windows XP 2001.  ;-)

  Oh dear.  It turned into a terrible mess of a thread with opinions and advice.    You do your layout with Word.  In my experience, Word is a nightmare when it comes to positioning many areas of text and images.

  You shouldn't have changed the Word document in a JPG file, because the text all which perfectly progressive, which would be printed to "all" size without loss of image quality, then became an image file.  But if you "had" to make it a JPG, just about the worst possible way to do this is with the Snipping Tool, because the resulting image would have only the resolution of your computer screen.  Dows following?

  How big are the pictures you used in Word?  They probably didn't need to be very large, because each image is only an impression at a relatively small size.

  First thing to try is to open the Word Document and save in PDF format using the Standard option (after you select Save as PDF

  I had some problems with my laptop (Lenovo Thinkpad - still under warranty) and decided to format the hard drive and reinstall the OS.

  Since I bought it with the operating system referred to above, I have the license for the OEM version.

  About a month a go, I found this thread , followed the instructions and everything worked well until now.

  Now (about a month after that everything is fine) I get this message that my copy is not genuine.

  I read somewhere that the apparent reason for this is that I have probably installed a commercial version rather than the OEM version.

  I received a free upgrade license for Windows 8 Pro with Media Center, at the time where they offered.

  I have not noticed that the license is good if active before a date which has since long (a few times in February). The license has been accepted at the entrance and the Media Center software installed, when I went to add new features to Windows 8 (I had already updated the machine to Windows 8 Pro.

  In fact, I don't want to buy the upgrade at this point. How can I make the license back to the old key... which of course, now I can't see.  I bought several upgrades, and you have not installed all, so I don't know how many of those I've not used on other machines upgrade is the one I used on this one.
