  Save a copy, and in the following options choose CS6.

  In this way, it should open correctly in CS6, and the original document is unscathed.

• Layers will not appear on the top of my Flash files.  Help, please!

  I have a little problem, I created a test using Dreamweaver 8 site to show how layers will be show/hide on the overview of the buttons. The problem I have is that these layers which are placed on top of some files Flash will not be displayed when I transfer my buttons. Can someone tell me why? If you look below, you will find two links, "index1.html" shows layers will be show/hide, but that's because it isn't a Flash file in the blue zone dark. In "index2.html", you will see that the layers don't hide/show when I transfer my buttons due to the dark blue area is a Flash file. Is there a way to solve this problem in Dreamweaver 8?

  All active content on a page will always come to the top, so to speak,
  including Flash, some elements of form, Java applets and controls Active X.
  This means that each one will push through the layers. It is not a good
  Cross-browser/platform reliable way to solve this problem, but if you can be
  confident in your visitors using IE 5 + or NN6 +, you can then use the Flash
  setting wmode (However, Safari does not support this correctly!).

• Where is the option ' Save as ' for files in the cat

  Someone sent me a file that I need to save. It is not a file that will be directly opened by any application, so there is no file assocatation with her.

  You must be able to adjust the code for the button of the Flash file to specify that it opens in the same window (use "_self" as the argument of the window).

  If your slide show program does not provide for the addition of this argument, and if you have no fla file for the swf file that you created, then your only hope might be to buy a decompiler program and see if you can create a FLA of your swf with her.

  Other that this, create your own slide show using Flash and you will have no problem affecting this button up... but that's probably easier to say what to do if you have any Flash experience.

  In 1.8.0 what kind of application you want to export? We allow only 'Web Applications' export. It has not changed anything between 1.8.0 and 1.8.1 in this area.

  Hi, in the menu bar go to tools then Options - this is what you may need.

  You can delete the history in the menu bar by clicking on history > clear recent history.

  This embarrassing symbol keeps appearing. I would like to understand its purpose and how to use it or eliminate it. Several times I could eliminate is dragging them slightly to the left but that does not work today.

  This looks like an icon that you get if you drag a tab to move it to a new location. This icon should disappear when the move is completed, but apparently that didn't happen if it remains visible.

  I'm sorry that you are having problems, combine PDFs using Adobe PDF Pack. The error occurs with all the files you are trying to combine, or just a select few?

  Make sure that the files you are trying to combine are not secure, password protected, 3D, or part of a PDF portfolio, as these types of PDF files can not be combined.

  If you are combining supported file types and still get this error, try the following:

  • Log off, and then clear the cache. Then log into https://cloud.acrobat.com/combinepdf using a supported web browser (see system requirements |) Acrobat.com).
  • Try to combine small groups of files, to see if you can reduce the error down to a specific file or files.

• InDesign server web service - where is the support to download a file with the script and download the result?

  I'm working on a VINE which is supposed to convert indd files in pdf format (that is, using of course the indesign server). Basically, I want to call the Web Service of IDS (located on another machine, perhaps), spend in the input file, the conversion script and retrieve the result under the WebService call?

  Navigation on the documentation, examples, etc. in the SDK, I couldn't see how the above can be achieved unless the client manages the transfer of files. Surely I must be missing something...

  What do you mean by POC?

  InDesign Server is too valuable (i.e. cost of the license) to waste his time with file transfers.

  For a smaller scale, letting a separate process (http or smb server) on the same server hardware files - InDesign Server providing access on the local volume faster.

  If you are planning for bigger, use a dedicated server for file sharing (at the choice of the SMB, NFS, or other), when the input files are prepared by the process of the client, so that your load balancing program can immediately point the next free instance of the InDesign Server farm to the file. In this case, be prepared for some trial and error - high-speed file sharing can be tricky with files written on one side not yet visible or incomplete on the other side, locking problems, filename Unicode trouble, unexpected time and so on.

  BTW, there is also a forum of InDesign Server which would be more suitable for these discussions.

  If I knew the drive path/name.ext Windows Photo Viewer program file, I could add it to the start menu.

  Without the quotes for the parameter by name of image file, how long the path may be. The ImageView_Fullscreen entry point is case-sensitive.
