When I click Start then computer and burner - where is windows Explorer, and where can I find her close a session on the toolbar?

    Hello geehosafat,

Thank you for your response. The relay please if you are able to open Windows Media Player by clicking Start, and then by typing in the search box to start Windows Media Player. Then click on Windows Media Player based on the results of the search.

In addition, when burning files to disc, if the disk has been formatted using the Format mastered, the option to close a session will not appear as disks formatted with the mastered Format do not need to be closed and automatically compatible with other computers. If the disk has been formatted with the live file system, you can close a session to be able to use the disc in another computer or player. By default, Windows does automatically when you eject the disc.

Steps to burn files using Windows Explorer by using the live file system and mastered Format includes also, for reference, the link provided above burn a CD or DVD in Windows Explorer .

  • Where is Windows Explorer in Windows 8?

Where is Windows Explorer? I can 't find anything I need on Windows 8. If I could return my new PC and get one without Windows 8 I would in a heartbeat. I HATE THIS PROGRAM! He tries to anticipate what I want and it just impossible. I need to do things MYSELF. Since the mid-2012 November I had to refresh Windows twice and rest once. Now I think I have to go immediately to the factory reset... all this because I can't FIND what I'm looking for and making stupid mistakes on the way. Stop hiding something from me. My 1995 and Windows XP (a slow program unstable at best) is far superior to this OS because at least I can find things so I can solve the problems or at least to improve performance. How to access my program properties without installing them through Windows 8? How to expand on the program, if there is more than one part of it (Corel for example has several pieces in the program)?

In windows 8, it is called "File Explorer".  You can access file Explorer by searching from the metro screen (and then PIN to the start page) or from the desktop right click on the lower left corner.

In Windows 8, the equivalent of Windows Explorer is called File Explorer.

If you can't find it, try using the search:

    1 display the charms bar.

    2 select Search.

    3. tap File Explorer until you see on the left.

    4. right-click on it to PIN to the taskbar or Start.

I do not understand your question about Corel. Please develop or ask directly to Corel.

  • Where is Internet Explorer?

Downloaded Firefox, defined as default and now Internet Explorer browser has completely disappeared from my PC - icon and all! When I try to re - download IE, was informed that it is already on my computer because it "comes with Windows 7!

Installation of Firefox does not remove Internet Explorer. You probably have set Firefox as the default browser.

One way to open Internet Explorer, click the Start button and Windows in the dialog box type run/find iexplore and press ENTER.

You should also find a shortcut to IE by clicking on the Start button and selecting all programs.

  • Where is Windows Explorer in Windows 7?

In older versions of windows, it was easy to move files or folders around by clicking on "Windows Explorer" that could fill a tree of hierarchical structure of files, allowing you to move your folder or file in another folder. You could do this directly from any folder that you happened to be in the moment. Is there something similar in Windows 7? Or what do I have to open a second file and then find the folder I want to move to, then return to the first folder and drag-and - drop? If the latter, it looks like a quality system that is less than what was under XP.

  • Where the Explorer windows under windows 7?

Where is Windows Explorer in Windows 7?

I checked under all programs and all programs > Accessories and it is not found.

    Thank you.

It's the way she looks in Win7. If you want an icon on the taskbar, take it to the extreme left of the address bar when Windows Explorer is open and drag it to the taskbar.

  • Windows Explorer button disappeared?

I'm sure I've made some changes and now my Windows Explorer button is gone. I did reappear by going to all programs-accessories and right click Windows Explorer and chose "Pin to start menu. But is it the only way that it is displayed in the Start Menu? Is there somewhere else it displays down by & assistance, search, and run?

It seems normal. The only place in the start menu where the "Windows Explorer" shortcut is displayed by default is under [Start - Programs - Accessories]

And no, he does not appear in the menu on the right as you describe.

  • Change the folder on Windows Explorer.

How can I change the folder that opens at the start of the Explorer?

Click on the round of Windows (start) > all programs > Accessories and make Windows Explorer right click > properties > Shortcut tab and change the target in a box to where you want Explorer to open, for example to open the Documents folder, type (or change) the following %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe C:\Users\your user name\Documents\ then apply, OK, etc..

  • On the task bar of Windows Explorer post work without creating multiple instances of explorer.exe.

Hi, I tried the workaround solution where you enter "%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe: {20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}" in the target.  However, this doesn't seem to be a full working solution because it creates an instance of "explorer.exe" whenever you access.  I want a solution that allows me to open the 'Workstation' of the taskbar that creates instances fallacious "explorer.exe" (it should stay onlya singleinstance of explorer.exe).

BTW, no, I don't want to pin 'my computer' icon so I have to hover over windows Explorer and then proceed to my computer.  I want the default location in Windows Explorer my computer and no libraries (which had the idea to do this? this person is a fool, because the majority of people never use libraries)

    -Dan

Another alternative - using a VBScript script to launch my folder on the computer.

Copy these lines into Notepad and save the file as "MyComputer.vbs".

    Set objShell = CreateObject
    objShell.ShellExecute "shell: MyComputerFolder ', ' ', ' ', 'open', 1

Create a shortcut to the script including the full path, as below:

    C:\Windows\System32\wscript.exe "D:\MyScripts\MyComp.vbs."

Change the shortcut icon, and then PIN to the taskbar.

How is it a better alternative?

The script takes 3K of memory (max) and duly ends after launching the folder desktop. It's better than the original situation where each instance explorer.exe taking 20 + K of memory and not end automatically.

  • Media players and windows Explorer crash

    Hello

Recently I got this problem where my windows Explorer crashed whenever I opened Control Panel, specifically, whenever I tried to view the system information. I tried a few "solutions" that I saw on the internet nothing has worked so far - this all started about 2 months ago, when I tried to update my graphic drivers.

Then a few days ago I was watching movies with my laptop and I fell asleep while the film was presented, my laptop is not plugged the battery flat overnight. When I woke up and return the laptop computer he would play no matter what video file with any of my media players (Windows Media Player, GOM or VLC) - when I try to open the video file, it simply says that GOM/VLC/WM has stopped working, then closes.

    Important notes:

-I am able to watch movies if I boot in safe mode (there is simply no sound.)

-I can also go in control panel - system of information if I boot in safe mode.

-I am running windows 7 (with the latest updates)

    -J' use a pavilion dv6.

-All music files open with media players, the problem is just video files.

I suspect it's a graphics related question, but I'm not sure. It works as it should when it is in safe mode, but I don't know how to say what is causing the problem.

Many thanks for any help :)

    Hi Mithrandir,

    I found the problem!

I updated the graphics driver and that seemed to do the trick - the players videos play in all media and is not any control panel crash or media players.

The only problem I have now is that after the backlight driver update does not work (although it is a driver issue it seems that many people have had) - I was wondering if you know if it is possible to reinstall the previous driver (not just go back to it, but have in fact all this re installed because I think there's maybe a corrupt file or something like that which was causing the) problem)

So, as I thought it was the graphics driver that caused the outcome...

  • Photos in Explorer folders Windows marked as empty

I use Windows 7 64-bit.  My photos are easily available in the appropriate folders when I look at them in Lightroom, browser or Photoshop.  But if I open Windows Explorer, these same files are marked as 'Empty'.  It was not until I've added 3 of Lightroom and imported all my photos.  They are not marked as hidden either under properties.  That's happened?

When you import, LR can add photos from their existing location, or it can move the photos elsewhere.  Are you sure you are looking at the same place in LR and Explorer?

A test would be to right click on one of the photos in LR and choose Show in Explorer and see where it opens Explorer.

  • Apex 4.0.1; automatic fire validations not null for full items

    Hello

I have a form with two elements (textarea and select list), where the fire automatic validations not null for these items, they were filled with values.
    Please, advise how to debug.

    Thank you

    Hi Edward,.

No, they don't. Because the server does not actually know what happens in the browser. And because of security, which should also be separated, because otherwise someone could hide a page element and work around a not null not check on the server.
So in your case you if the "not null" for a page element is conditional, you must set the indicator required for 'No' and create a regular validation "not null" with a similar condition your dynamic action.
