  • Where can I get InDesign CC 2015 SDK

    Hi all

    Yesterday, I received a press release from Adobe InDesign CC 2015. But I can't find an update for InDesign CC 2015 SDK in prerelease.adobe.com! I'm afraid that my clients cannot use our plugin the moment where they update the 2014-2015.

    Do you know when adobe will release the SDK of 2015 for us?

    HI Maria,

    You can go to http://prerelease.adobe.com/ to download the SDK. But first you have to wait for Adobe to access your account, perhaps in several days

  • Where is the pdf file stored?

    I work in Indesign and I try to print my file in pdf format (no export). I'm doing this because I need to convert the file to grayscale and doesn't seem to have the option when you export to PDF. I can say that he prints because of the progress bar, but I have no idea where the file is placed. I don't have the ability to choose where to store them. Is there a default folder where these PDF files is automatically stored? I posted this question on the forum of Acrobat as well.

    When you use file > export and chooe PDF, you get a color PDF.

    Then, in Acrobat Professional, go to tools > Print Production > convert colors

    Follow the dialog box convert to grayscale.

  • InDesign CC 2015 hangs on the export file .article

    I'm under CC15 build 11.2.0.99. I created a document I want to export to an article, but when I go to file > export... and select the DPS item, InDesign will crash every time. I even created a very basic layout with just a couple of forms, and it will still crash. I also deleted the InDesign preferences files. Everyone this problem or have any suggestions?

    I am running Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.5

    The team has solved this problem by updating the plugin InDesign CC 2015. You can either wait for the update of plugin becomes available through an InDesign CC 2015 update, or you can manually download and install the tools of DPS here: Digital Publishing Solution help | Install tools for DPS 2015

  • where is the file

    I created a movie in the past with elements 2.0.  I am now editing this film with 14 elements, but it is installed on a new computer.  I have my old files stored on the new computer, but they can be in a drive letter.  Open the project in 14 elements he hangs up and ask 'where is the xxx.xxx file', would reference clip and he probably can't find it.  Can I index my hard drive or some point how items 14 to search the disk for files or what I need to access each of them?

    If you put all of the media in the same folder, you may not access each of them.  Be warned, however, that your version 2 can not work in version 14.

  • Cross-references in InDesign does not convert the links in the PDF

    Hello

    I can't work on any model that... I have a number (75, to be precise) of references in a single InDesign file to other locations within the same file. In InDesign, all work well - I can go from destination to source and vice versa.

    When I export to PDF, about 20% of them (I did not, I'm afraid) jump me to a particular page... page 58 of the 61-page document. They should not. There two correct links to this destination, the rest should go to various other pages. All cross references are using heading styles. I have not used all the bookmarks (if I remember correctly - work has been done some time ago, but has only raised the issue).

    In some cases, there are destinations in the PDF files to the appropriate pages, so I'm fixing this way links. They cannot be the original destinations, because I have more than one destination per page in some cases. In other cases, there is no destination for the page required... they have not been exported, so I'll have to create destinations in the PDF file as well. I noticed that a lot of destinations end with "Anchor xx" (where xx is a number), others are a 5 digit number what is the difference?

    It has been a pain fix these, but will be even worse when the document is updated in a few months... I don't want to have to manually re-create each hyperlink each time. I also wanted to use InDesign for another project, but the files would be updated on a regular basis in this case and if there is a known bug, it would not be an acceptable load.

    Any suggestions? Oh - the graphics are almost all related, and most are anchored frames... don't know if this has an impact, but I noticed when picking topics cross reference that some were (chart) after the title of the topic.

    Thanks in advance,

    Alison

  • Where are stored presets InDesign CC PDF 2015?

    Where are stored the preset PDF InDesign CC 2105?

    I wrote on this topic in 2007. It is the last two lines of this post:

    I just check on my Mac, and it's always the location.

  • "Whereas unity" during the assignment of the width of column on InDesign Server 2015

    I am currently transfer my InDesign scripts to run on InDesign Server 2015, so far all worked well, so far.

    When I try to assign a width of a column, I get the following error:

    Error string: invalid value for the set 'width' property Unit expected, but received "1.058 mm".

    The code looks like this (listTable is my table object and iEigCol a counter in a loop for, so nothing out of the ordinary):

    var spacerColumnWidth = 1.058;
    listTable.columns[iEigCol].width = spacerColumnWidth + 'mm';

    A few lines earlier, I use this:

    listTable.columns[0].width = '82mm';

    Which works very well.

    I already tried these approaches instead:

    • By simply using the number without unit
    • Using an integer instead of a double
    • Concatenating the string before using to assign width
    • With the help of a literal string

    so far nothing worked here. Strange thing is that he works on dozens of other columns with the one of the ways mentioned to do.

    The exact same script also works very well to InDesign CS5.5.

    Any ideas what the problem may be?

    Thank you very much!

    InDesign does not set a table column width or row height under 1.058 mm (not even in the script). And in the scripts, it will not let you define under 1,059 mm. Try to work with 1,059 mm, and it should work.

  • someone at - it else troubled hd with grid reference with indesign cc 2015? even when I go to view the baseline grid I can't see from my document

    anyone else had problems with the grid with indesign cc 2015? even when I go to view the baseline grid I can't see from my document

    Grids do not show in preview or overview of the overlay modes and may be hidden by a full framework used as a background. If it is none of these, it could be the threshold value of zoom - the grid appears if you zoom in?
