Where the Notes files are stored

Hi all

Today, I have reinstalled my MacBook Pro 2015, but I can't find how to restore my notes. I did a lot of research on the internet and found where the notes are stored in the library (where are stored the Notes files?), but it seems that this trick does not work for El Capitan.

There are so many important information stored in the notes, so I hope they won't get lost.

MacBook Pro retina

OS X El Capitan 10.11.3

Do you mean that you have deleted and reinstalled? If so, why? Simply reinstall the OS in place should not affected Notes data. Synchronize Notes with a network service, such as iCloud?

  • Where the customized files are stored "Adobe PDF Page size"?

    Hello

I recently got a new computer - and on the old computer, there are several custom "Adobe PDF Page sizes" (used in the print dialog box).

I did a search on the old computer for .joboptions files and found the folder c:\Program files\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Acrobat\Settings, but I don't see not all files with names that match my custom formats (i.e. "Daves book cover"). I also did a search for the files named (for example) 'Daves Book Cover' nothing helps...

Any ideas where I might find these types of files in order to copy them to my new computer and I can't recreate from scratch?

    Thank you!

I think that they are stored in the registry. I look.

  • where the fav icons are stored in the Firefox profile? You can drag and drop on the bookmarks?

Two related issues to fav icons:

1 where are the fav icon stored in my Firefox profile?

2 is it not warned to drag an icon on an element of bookmark on my bookmarks (no icon) bar and it updated the icon? (I have a right-click on the bookmark and I couldn't see any field of fav icon.)

    Thank you

Favicons are stored in the file places.sqlite and bookmarks.

No, you cannot drag a Favicon in your bookmarks. If you drag a tab favorite icon, all that would happen is that you would be again to add the bookmark and the favicon may not be kept if it was not the first time that you have saved the first time. Try it and see what happens...

There is no field for Favicon in the context menu of bookmark. There used to be a couple of extensions available at different times which allowed users to add a favicon to a bookmark, but it's been a while that we have seen this type of extension that was compatible.
    https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/Favicon-Picker-3/
    https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/Favicon-Picker-2/
Neither have been updated after a Firefox update beat each at different times, and nobody has updated '3' a final which broke.

  • Where the iwcadmin settings are stored

    Hello
We did an upgrade to 1.0 - 17.01 (1.0.3.17.0) of Sun Convergence (built on May 9, 2011 - 23:12:35). Once the upgrade is complete, it appears that a number of our iwcadmin settings have been changed back to the value default or completely removed. Iwcadmin out a not export to a file before the upgrade.

Is anyone able to tell me what file these settings are stored in? I would like to restore from a backup and compare to our current file. Make the changes using the iwcadmin command.

    Thanks in advance.

  • How can I locate the folder where my backup files are stored on my internal hard drive? I want to delete all backup files

operating system is windows vista laptop.

I went into system restore settings and couldn't find how to locate my saved files. I think they take a LOT of space, I deleted all other unused files and I have more than 6 GB of free space out of 67 concert. Help, please? I don't know much about computers at all.

    Hello

Follow the method of deleting a file of older backup using sub steps and check later if the problem persists.

    (a) open backup and restore by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click system and Maintenanceand then clicking backup and restore.

    (b) click on Manage space. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    (c) to delete older backups of files under that data backup file, click on view backups.

You can then select the backups of files that you want to delete, which will free up disk space. Remove an entry in the list will not affect the other backups. If you think that you don't need one version of your files from a certain backup period, you can delete that backup. We recommend that you always keep the most recent backup.

I don't find it, anyone know the location on a windows 10.

  • 10g - where the private connections are stored in the metadata repository

We use OAS 10.1.2.3 infrastructure and BI middle tier on Windows. SSO is enabled and the users are authenticated against OID. Users can create their own private connections. I would like to know: How can I query private in the OAS metadata repository connections? I would like to know the names of connection and who created them.

    Thank you very much.
    Georges Nicks

    Hi Hallie
Information about the connections are held in this table: wwsso_psex_user_info$

This table is in the database of the infrastructure belonged to this user: orasso

app_id column has the following value:

    If app_id = ' 1325 "is a private connection

If app_id = '1326', then there is a public link

  • Where the license DRM for music files are stored

    Hello.

I received an email from moduslink yesterday, they will ship vista in max. 3 weeks ;-) I wonder when I'll get it? But I found something else, I'd like to know:

on the laptop with Windows XP pre-installed, there was these pre-installed music files (shared documents folder) with different music etc..

I copied these files on my desktop-pc computer and (of course) the music is not played due to the absence of DRM-rights... (btw: I really hate this kind of thing DRM!)
WindowsMediaPlayer 10MS on my desktop pc tries to download these DRM files, but cannot get a connection to a server. Probably because, I suppose, the right DRM of these songs is only stored locally somewhere on the laptop.

On the laptop I have MediaPlayer 11 installed (I didn't want it, but I clicked OK for an update of WMP10 and did not know that it is just the upgrade to 11...).

    OK, with 11 WMediaPlayer, I guess, I can't save my license... files? ! ?

Are the license files of these music titles stored somewhere on the hard drive? and where?
Therefore, it would be best just to copy these files from my desktop pc license.

I don't know if there is the same music-files included with Toshiba-Express-Vista-set at level - Programm (?)
, so I want to store (including DRM files) on the desktop pc and then paste them to the laptop.

    you have a few tipps?
    Thank you, goodbye, kai

    Hello

To my knowledge the DRM files has nothing to do with the operating system. The mp3 files must run on XP and Vista, but you know...
I m not a music license expert ;) and can only suggest

However, I studied a little on the net and it seems that the DRM files are stored
in Windows 2000 and Windows XP in this folder:
    drive: \Documents and Settings\All Users\DRM

In Windows 98 and Windows Millennium Edition (Me)
    drive: \Windows\DRM

If you can't find the DRM folder, the exact location of the DRM folder on your hard disk is stored in the following entry in the Windows registry:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\DRM\DataPath

That's all what I found, but if you want to get more info on the DRM please check this Microsoft Knowledge base article:

    Good luck

  • Where the imported video files are stored?

    Hello

Just changed CPF to PP. I know not to expect differences between the two programs, but I can't understand where PP stores its images in the camera once imported?

In FCP, you set the images to be captured in a Capture folder on a disk to work.

I have imported a lot of sequences now but do not know where the files are stored on the disks?

    Can anyone help please?

    Thank you

    Josie

You must transfer the files from your power off on your hard disk before ingest via the media browser in first.

The only thing that makes the first is links to these files. Also first does not move the files.

They are always in the same place when you place on your computer.

  • Where HTML5 code indicators are stored in the Configuration file?

There is a bug in Dreamweaver CS6 where HTML5 code (and perhaps others) indicators stop working when you install ColdFusion 10 for Dreamweaver extensions. If you uninstall the ColdFusion extensions while the HTML5 code indicators work again.

I want to keep a copy of advice to code HTML5 and then 'paste' returning to after installtion Coldfusion extensions so that Dreamweaver has all the indicators in code, he should have. Why Adobe did not worth to test their software code hinting is beyond me, especially when Coldfusion is one of their own products! But anyway nobody knows where HTML5 code indicators are stored for tags like < header > and < footer >?

The control of the code hints for the languages based on tags is in a file called C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS6\configuration\TagLibraries\TagLibraries.vtm. It is in a similar situation on other operating systems.

However, any changes made to the indicators of code based on tags is loaded from the TagLibraries folder in your personal configuration file (see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/494812 for its situation on different operating systems).

I suspect that what has happened is that the one that created the extension of code hints ColdFusion 10 added new CF tags to an older version of TagLibraries.vtm. This would explain why the HTML5 code hints disappears. Dreamweaver always uses the version of the TagLibraries.vtm file in your personal configuration file if there is. As soon as you uninstall code CF10 indicators, Dreamweaver deletes your personal configuration file TagLibraries.vtm and to using the default version in the configuration of the main program file.

Since you are comfortable coding with ColdFusion, you should probably have little difficulty to change the version of the TagLibraries.vtm file in your personal configuration file. Simply copy the first element of to the default TagLibraries.vtm and use it to replace the one created by the expansion CF10. You should then have CF10 both indicators HTML5 to code.

I'm pretty sure that will fix the problem for you. But you should file a bug report about the extension. The ColdFusion team is completely separated from the DW one, and from what I've heard, they do not communicate much. It should be a trivial matter for the CF team to update their extension.

    Questions 1)

Not because the LRDATA file is fair previews, what LR displays on your screen for a faster loading of the image and will be recreated. The previews only stored in the folder LRDATA is the basic overview created at time of importation for the display of thumbnails and previews of 1:1 for images that you have actually looked in the Loupe View or I guess that appears in the develop module.

He get all the data to create the image themselves file extracts.

If you have several files on your system that have pictures in them and you select one of them that you have not looked at in a while, you will notice LR creation of previews for these images, there will be 3 white dots in the upper right corner of the thumbnail. It's LR creation of previews for the thumbnail view. If you scroll quickly in the grid view, you'll notice a few thumbnails of images are gray, until you stop scrolling, then the upper left tile will come in clear view and the white dots will appear on the other images. It's LR creating previews for those of other images. Once LR created the preview of thumbnails that are on your screen, white spot will disappear. If you scroll down again, you will see more white dots

If you switch to another folder that LR begins again create preview images in this folder. The total number of previews created and stored based on caching of the preview you have in the catalog settings dialog in the management of the files tab.

If not, you need not the LR Previews.lrdata folder. Whenever LR is not very good this folder with a catalog he recreates it to store previews in.
