  You can take advantage of the new features in later versions of TestStand.  In 2012, and most recent, you can write raw results.  As said Dennis you could just always write raw results.  Then use the TestStand Offline results new treatment utility write those in the database: http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/370052K-01/tsref/infotopics/offline_processing_utility/

  You can create a service or something to do.

  BTW - Plugins can run in its own thread.

  I'm unable to convert and merge a v10.1 v11 user database.  I made a backup of Usrcomp_S.usr to another folder in Windows then used the merger of Multisim and Ultiboard and conversion tools. Here are the steps I followed:

  1 tools > Database > convert database...

  2. Select Source in the dialog context database names.

  3. navigate to the database using the Windows dialog box. Select my copy of database using "All Files." Curiously he is not using the default filter. Select OK and then the following error:

  The path of the database: "database\UsrComp_S.usr" was not found or not set.
  You want to select the path where the database of component?

  4. Select Yes then select my now visible database of the dialog Windows.

  6. close the convert and open tools > database > merge a database...

  7. Select a name of the component database

  If the database is from a previous version, use convert the database.

  Help, please. This should be a simple process of a button to import parts of the user of a previous version.

  I think you are trying to convert the incorrect database. From the name you specified (Usrcomp_S.usr), it's just a CDS model uses to create a user database, it is not your user database.

  On Windows XP, the user database is located in C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\National Instruments\Circuit Design Suite\11.0\database\

  On Windows Vista/7, the user database is located in C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\National Instruments\11.0\database\

  Go to the server where the database is installed. Check if you have installed or not on the server listener?

  Then, I started to create my GoodDatabase model. I stopped with the message again that the SPFILEROVM. ORA (from the old database) did not exist. But it is already stopped my GoodDatabase and I can't restart. I use OEM Database Control for restart, but I get the complaint about the SPFILEROVM once again. ORA of the old database. How can I solve this problem? The error of OEM is attached below. The database is under Windows Server 2003. I can connect in OEM to another database instance (orcle) but I do not have the OEM rack.

  So, I have a database on our server that I have access via phpmyadmin.

  I need to connect it to my dreamweaver site so I can add a dynamic content.

  When you set the MySQL connection, set SQL server as localhost?

  The test server is not necessarily distinct from the regular server. It doesn't have to be defined so DW knows where the database.

  Try this.
  1. the cd in your home directory.
  2. starting at the prompt, so source oraenv
  -> . oraenv
  3. When prompted enter the name of your database, in the same case, as in/etc/oratab.
  4. try to connect now
  -> sqlplus testuser / *.

  If it works for you, then you must ensure you environments ORACLE_HOME, ORACLE_SID and path are correct - as oraenv does for you.

The size of the data files (all data files) has data is about 600 GB where the database size is approximately 270 GB. The traget box has storage capacity is 450 GB. What all the options and best practices for implementing this plan. Time is also a problem. The two servers are not in the same place of geo.

  Transportable tablespaces require copies data from the source to the destination files. In this case, you have not enough space on the destination for the data files of the target system.

  No major changes has been (as change the ownership/megaupload type etc).

  No addition of level in one of the dimension.

  Only members are added at the same level

  Please let me know what would cause to become invalid.

  Only way I can see what is possible is if the dimension change your attributes, and where you had already all members, associated with an attribute, you have now a few not associate members.

  Take a good copy of the outline (or restore from backup) and run the MaxL following on the old and the new cubes:

  That should show you where the differences are.

  Don't bother with the pipeline and PL/SQL functions.  Everything will be easier, more effective and more reliable if you use only views.

  Privileges through roles do not create a view on a table in another schema.

  If user1 can create a view on motherlode.table_x, then user1 should have direct privileges already (or user1 must have a privilege of system as SELECT ANY TABLE).

  User1 needs the same privileges WITH GRANT OPTION in order to grant privileges on his point of view to User2.  To do this, have motherlode grant privileges to user1, like this:

  GRANT SELECT ON table_x to User1 WITH GRANT OPTION;

  GRANT SELECT ON table_y to User1 WITH GRANT OPTION;

  Repeat for each table that user1 uses in the views.

  Then user1 will be able to grant privileges on views to User2 like this:

  GRANT SELECT ON my_view_01 TO user2.

  This will NOT allow user2 directly see the motherlode.table_x.  User1 will have the power to give privileges to User2, but simply grant privileges on the view does not give User2 these privileges.

  If you don't want User1 to have this power, then create the views in the motherlode scheme, or create a new schema only for the putpose to own these views.

In which tbs has retained this function and if sys has set a zero quota on the tablespace default then why he demonstrated 'USERS' as default tablespace?   It's strange thread, it is much misconception or at least misunderstanding.
  As already said, but ignored somehow, all the code function/procedure/package/relax/view /... are stored in the SYSTEM tablespace, regardless of the default tablespace and the quota of the user logged in with to create these objects. These objects have no (lines of code) segment, a segment is a use/allocation of space, that's why you have not any mention of these objects in xxx_segments or xxx_extents.
  So, it's not a problem with the database or quota | user default tablespace (who manage the use of the space), but attached to the grant, you must create/procedure/package/trigger/view /...
