which is better 15r2 or 17r3?

Hello forum :)

IM planning to get a computer alienware m first games ever. If im decide to obtain 15 R2 or R3 to 17.

the problem is that I heard a lot of problem on these 2 models. So really buy an alienware? or should go with another brand?

and thank you so :)

I'd get the R3 with the 4 k Committee 17. Do yourself a favor and choose the wireless card intel 8260 rather than the killer in 1535.

    You can return if you delete the old Windows folder that was created during the upgrade.

    Go to settings > update & Security > Recovery > go back to a previous version of Windows.

    If you can not go back, and you have not created a recovery image before the upgrade, you will need to contact HP support for recovery media.

  • Which is better, migration or clean install?

    Recently, I switched from PC to Mac, and I have a program from my PC (Quick Books) I want to be able to turn on my Mac.  I am considering the merger of 6 to do this, but I have a few questions before I dive.

    1. I have a xp sp2 installation disc.  I read in the documentation of Fusion 6 it supports xp sp3.  Can I create a virtual machine using my drive?  If not, is there a workaround? Yes, I have a certificate of authenticity.

    Thank you in advance for your help!

    If the copy of Windows XP that you have the certificate of authenticity for is an OEM version supplied with the PC that you are allowed to transfer to another system, physical or vital, because he lives and dies on its original system install on it EULA.

    P2V is an important, and sometimes necessary mechanism however own building will be always relanceraient overall a better Virtual Machine built and less problematic than if you take the time to purge the installation P2V everything that was relevant to the physical system originally installed and even in this case the virtual partition may not be aligned correctly and therefore affect performance significantly.

    In a scenario of such use you mentioned her own building is the absolute path to go and Microsoft Windows SP2 will install successfully even if you may need to download the Windows XP Service Pack 3 Installation Package network for developers and it professionals if you update via Windows Update problems.  (I would download the SP above!)  That said, don't forget that there will be no updates to Windows XP, especially security update, dated April 8, 2014 and in the circumstances I would not of Windows XP in order to have an Internet connectivity than later as Black Hat Hackers will target not doubtably Windows XP for bugs of extra security they can find after Microsoft ceases to support.  I would consider to move to a more recent version of Windows or to abandon Windows altogether!

    I just bought a brand new 750xt want (just out of the box yesterday) and I chose to go for a GPU not supplied by HP, once I had my PC put in place. I am currently looking a Nvidia GeForce GTX 750ti and a GTX 950. I know that the 750 will work fine, but will the 950? My budget doesn't allow a former gen graphics card, but if the 950 it is better and will not my PC brand new ignite so I'll go with that one.

    Im going to use the computer for games and edit video in sony vegas, they have different processors and im wondering what is best for me? It is also important that I can use it as long as possible.

    Thank you!

    Generally, I prefer Intel based computers, but in this case based on the specifications you cite, the AMD model has better video and would be better for the games.

    I'm not even to try to predict the service life of each model, because it depends of so many variables. Laptops now becomes obsolete in 3-5 years anyway even if they could last longer.

    But I'm not watching the real for the 15-ak005no specifications and it shows no graphics Intel 530 but the nVidia GeForce GTX 950 M, which would average model better than the video of R7 in AMD so if that is correct, you should get the Intel model no question even if it is more expensive. The model of switchable Intel likely a graphic processor, which means that there so the 530 Intel and nVidia.

  • Which is better: using the NI 9203 or USB Volt to differential entrance map

    Dear all,

    I have 4 pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters 4 with output 0-10 v or 4-20 my. I have also 2 with output 4-20 flow meters my.

    I have two options:

    Is to get all the signals in my and link them to the C two modules NI 9203 or I can get 8 sensors with 0-10 V and then I can use for example NI 6218 where I can connect these signals using differential configuration. While the last two signals (of the two flowmeters) should be converted using components SSC to sell volts so that I can connect them to the same card.

    Which solution is better in regards to signal noise?

    Someone told me that NI 9203 does not support differential configuration, such as the signal of my does not noise like the Volt signal so it does no differential configuration.

    Also, NI 9203 has 0-20 my input range and the output of the sensors is 4-20 my... Is there a problem?

    Please advise...

    Yours,

    Ehab

    Hi Elijah,

    Do you mean that you have the choice between voltage and current transducers and want to know what is the best?

    Current loop 4-20 mA is intrinsically less sensitive to voltage noise.  4-20 my sources have an output impedance much higher that a shunt resistance, so that the vast majority of the noise is deleted in all of the source.  The following application note of the BAPI and our own Developer Zone article both give a good overview of the subject:

    Understand the current loops 4-20 my

    Current measurements: practical Guide

    Regarding the 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA, you will have no problem here.  4-20 mA is commonly used for sensors one reasons are that a 0 can be used to indicate a bad connection (open).

    When you take a measure of the tension, the best way to reduce noise is to measure differently, with your connections made with threads of the shielded twisted pair (Wikipedia link).  The idea here is that any atmospheric noise would affect both the + and - ends of your signal.  Since you measure differently, the noise cancel out.

    You will be probably very well in both cases.  If you use the 6218, you can provide your own external shunt resistors to measure the current, while using other channels to measure the voltage. See the article How to build a system of loop current with isolated M series.  It seems to not be updated for the 6218, but this Council provides isolation recommended for current measurement.

    The 9203 s have this integrated to the Board of Directors and are designed specifically to the measurement current.

    Other recommended reading would be field of wiring and considerations of noise for analog signals.  When setting up this system, you will need to make sure that everything is grounded correctly (without ground-loops, floating connections, etc.).

  • BlackBerry smartphone GPRS or WIFI: which is better?

    On another discussion, sali says:

    I have a BB 8320. Can someone tell me if - because I find it very confusing - if I have to use the GPRS or WIFI setting if available. What is the best?

    GPRS and Wi - Fi are two ways to get the data (especially e-mail and web). The main difference is:

    • the coverage is different (you'll have GPRS (across a carrier installed) that Wi - Fi (no matter where private individuals or commercial installed))
    • and the speed is different (Wi - Fi is 40 x faster).

    Here are some things so that you understand why wireless is better: what are the maximum download speed, by network system (higher is better):

    • 00,014 Kbps: GSM
    • 00,056 Kbps: modem dialup (before ADSL and cable)
    • 00,056 Kbps: GPRS
    • 00,256 Kbps: EDGE
    • 00,512 Kbps: old ADSL modem
    • 08,192 Kbps: new ADSL modem
    • 10,000s kbit: Wi - Fi (depends on the device well)

    On the Wi - Fi coverage, there should be a black and white photo WiFi indicating if there is a Wi - Fi connection nearby. (No), you can also buy several gadgets to detect Wi - Fi networks. Be aware that some Wi - Fi hotspots are free (McDonald, Starbuck), and others require fees (some airports). GPRS is available everywhere except maybe when you go to the countryside far from humanity (which can happen on some routes), but you would be extremely lucky to have a Wi - Fi and not GPRS.

    There is an EDGE line in my post. EDGE is better than GPRS.

  • By the way Self as a parameter or by passing an object Variable to a member function, both in the approach IN OUT NOCOPY Mode which is better?

    Hi all
    Asking for help which approach is better of the two in terms of performance and why (if there is no difference) or are they an and they same and only different in terms of syntax only.

    (A) to call a function with itself in passing as IN OUT nocopy
    (B) passing the calling object, same as IN OUT NOCOPY.

    @
    (In my approach, I need to pass an object with almost 30 attributes and I must assign values to few attributes of the object in a few member functions that will impact object)

    I have an object created in the
    CREATE or REPLACE TYPE my_obj AS OBJECT
    (
    NAME VARCHAR2 (100),
    FUNCTION CONSTRUCTOR My_obj RETURNS SELF AS RESULTS,
    FUNCTION MEMBER put_name (SELF IN OUT NOCOPY my_obj) RETURN PLS_INTEGER,
    RETURN of the MEMBER FUNCTION insert_name (v_my_obj IN OUT NOCOPY my_obj)
    PLS_INTEGER,
    MEMBER get_name PROCEDURE
    );
    /
    CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE BODY MY_OBJ

    FUNCTION CONSTRUCTOR RETURN self AS RESULT My_obj IS
    BEGIN
    NULL;
    RETURN;
    END;

    FUNCTION MEMBER (SELF IN OUT NOCOPY my_obj) put_name IS BACK PLS_INTEGER
    BEGIN
    Self.Name: = "my_name_in_self";
    RETURN 1;
    END put_name;

    MEMBER FUNCTION insert_name (v_my_obj IN OUT NOCOPY my_obj)
    IS BACK PLS_INTEGER
    BEGIN
    v_my_obj. Name: = "my_name_in_Alias";
    RETURN 1;
    END insert_name;

    MEMBER get_name PROCEDURE IS
    BEGIN
    dbms_output.put_line (self. (Name)
    END;
    END;
    /

    (a) put_name heel 1 call:

    declare
    v my_obj: = my_obj();
    number of ret_val;
    Start
    ret_val: = v.put_name;
    v.get_Name;
    end;

    o/p: my_name_in_self

    (a) insert_name citing heel 2:

    declare
    v my_obj: = my_obj();
    number of ret_val;
    Start
    ret_val: = v.insert_name (v);
    v.get_Name;
    end;

    o/p: my_name_in_Alias

    What is better to use the put_name or use the function insert_name.
    I manipulate the object when it is passed to a function.

    Thanks in advance,
    Kind regards
    Gaurav R

    As Billy said above, each member method has implicitly (which can be made explicit, as with "put_name", when required, for example, to specify the "nocopy" option) parameter named 'home '. For member functions, the passage of default mode is "inside". For the procedures of members, the passage of default mode is "outside". Therefore, the actual signature of the function of your 'insert_name":

    ...
    member function insert_name(self in my_obj, v_my_obj in out nocopy my_obj) return pls_integer
    ...

    Since you don't self directly access this function, it is logically equivalent to a static type function (which has no implicit setting of "self"):

    ...
    static function insert_name(v_my_obj in out nocopy my_obj) return pls_integer
    ...

    which is basically no different than using a non-object function that takes a parameter of type of object:

    create function insert_name(v_my_obj in out nocopy my_obj) return pls_integer

  • OSB: Remove or replace - performace wise which is better

    Hello

    I have my proxy service, I want to empty the contents of the variable $body. So, wanting to understand: which of the following is better(performace-wise), delete, or replace?

    Please advise.

    Thanks in advance.

    Where do I check the time taken? It is in the osb server logs?

    After turning on the follow-up to the Action level, test your proxy service, then move to the Health Service of SBconsole of the BSO home page tab.
    Click the proxy service that has tracking enabled. then check the settings of the Action tab you will find the same.

  • Which is better foreign language must learn an Oracle DBA?

    Hello

    I intend to learn a foreign language (for example: Chinese, Japanese, french, Spanish, German etc,) this year. I am an Oracle DBA. Looking for some suggestions on the language in which I should choose.

    Thank you
    Delphine

    If the goal is to make it potentially easier to communicate with colleagues, whose native language is not English, I'd think Hindi or Mandarin would be the choice (even if you'd probably high enough to clear before your Hindi bar was better than English your colleague). If the goal is potentially do it yourself employable in other countries, as others have suggested, it would be important to look at which countries you are interested in - Spanish, French or German are likely to be relatively common in different parts of the world.

  • AMD vs Core I7 - which works better for Adobe products?

    I am running an AMD system (Phenom 2 x 4 3.2 Ghz, 8 GB DDR3 PC10666, ATI 3870 512 MB, Windows Ultimate 64 bit, WD 120 GB 10 k RPM)

    and I wonder if it's worth the purchase and construction of a new, intel Core i7 - 920 system. I know the top end, 970 would be better, but I don't want to drop $1 k on a processor - 920 is what I am looking at.

    I would like to know (users who have used, or who are familiar with both platforms) which powerful system with the Adobe production suite and if it is worth the investment to move from AMD to Intel. Hyper Threading does affect how AE / first made? I notice a difference in speed of 8 GB to 12/24 GB of memory (for AE / Pr)?

    I would also like suggestions on graphics cards (vs Quadro or GTX vs Radeon FireGL) to boost performance. I'm not much more than a gamer and I would like more to be able to focus on production. Right now I use a deck of cards (a former here) and I would like to know if buying a newer version will boost the performance of the AE / PR.

    Any help, advice or suggestions would be great!

    Thank you

    Drew

    I recommend Intel processors more AMD for Adobe products.

    Hyper Threading does affect how AE / first made?

    I can't speak for the first. For AE, perhaps is it marginal compared to the number of physical cores. And can be sometimes counterproductive if she tips system multiprocessing AE into believing there are twice as many hearts, because of the way that AE holders right RAM to the authorities made it starts for each core (when "Simultaneous multiple images rendering" is enabled in preferences).

    I notice a difference in speed of 8 GB to 12/24 GB of memory (for AE / Pr)?

    Yes, 8 GB is actually the absolute minimum you want for a quad core (2 GB by heart) system.

    After that, it depends on the content. For the Comps format, large source files and/or 32 HD PCB treatment, having more RAM would lead to the best performance and reliability.

    I would also like suggestions on graphics cards (vs Quadro or GTX vs Radeon FireGL) to boost performance. I'm not much more than a gamer and I would like more to be able to focus on production.

    In AE, OpenGL previews are designed to provide a smoother and more responsive experience when it interacts with the application. It won't help with rendering in most of the time. Support for high level of consumption of range card should be good. No need to sell the House for one of the models at the pro level. Keep an eye to the list of card/driver combinations officially supported.

  • Which is better: view or custom folder

    Hi all
    I work in Discoverer 10 g 2 and 10 gr 2 Oracle database.
    I developed a few business sectors and handed over to the company and the system works well.
    Now business wants a link or a feature that requires to connect 5 existing folders and this link will appear on the screen 7 items these records.
    As it is a complex join, I think to provide a custom folder with all elements of reaquired (which exist in those folders) in the tables that connects all these tables in a view.
    There are two ways to do:
    One, create a view in the database and map a simple folder to it.
    Two, create a cutom folder with the same query.
    I was wondering if a method is preferable on other maintenace point of view or any other consideration.
    There are no restrictions in our society to create new views. If I create a view, I grant all users the right to select on that. In the custom folder I need not to worry about privileges.
    I was reading another thread last: migrate folders customized views of the database which, in my view, that view is a better option.

    Please suggest.

    Thank you

    Hello

    If you are able to create views this option is always better for complex joins. Dependencies are managed in the database and complex queries are stored in the database to which they belong.

    You don't need to select all your users privileges, because you should use database roles. You just need to grant the role of discoverer database selection.
