  Hello Christopher,

  You can use optimization OS tool on the computer that you are trying to capture the Appstack but it wouldn't be very useful because this is your starting point to capture Appstacks and I do not think that you would use the basic machine for any other purpose outside the Capture.

  If you want to use this tool on the Horizon view parent then Yes you can go ahead and use that there is no conflicts for this. The optimization tool would just disable some services in order to stimulate performance by using a Script if you want to know what services are disabled.   No, it's typical for the VMS version 6 of virtual and higher material.  Freezes most is either peripheral applications of diskette/CD-ROM or disk writes logging/debugging.

• From an application at startup of the device for BB10

  Hello

  I was creating a demand for BB10.

  The application should start at the start of the device and (preferably) stay in the background.

  I found this http://developer.blackberry.com/html5/documentation/rim_background_element_1265316_11.html , but it doesn't seem to be something similar to this for BB10. Is there such a feature which is flush on BB10? or does perform a work around that.

• New (?) Patch Windows 7 can break up from VMware

  I have no idea if this would affect any of us, but for those of us who run Windows 7 and using the Simulator, there is apparently a fix for Windows which can break up from VMware.

  I never put my automatic update machines, so I'm covered for now, but if you have updates automatically applied, take this into account and if you notice new problems, you can try to do a restore to cancel the patches.  Or wait to see if any other information comes to this subject.

  It is not only related to VMware View software? I read the article and it doesn't seem to affect VMware player, doest it?

• C++ or waterfalls or HTML5 for BB10

  Hello world

  I'm new to BB development and although I've done a few VB and some HTML work, I'm a little stuck on the direction to follow.  The application I want to develop is a management with a decent amount of logic application business going on in the background.   Given that I'm not developing a game that requires quick speed super treatment or a lot of custom screens, I thought using the system of Cascades.  Am I wrong? Or should I be developing in C++ (which I'm not currently).

  I also saw somewhere that there is a plugin for BB10 VB?  It is a path suitable for follow - develop in VB that I already know?

  paul2020, it seems that the approach of WebWorks can work best for you, at least to start with.  It allows you to manage the BB Phone with much the same code base.

  If you structure the code itself, with a logic that is strictly separated from the interface user, then you can migrate to waterfalls with QML to the user interface and possibly with some of this intact preserved Javascript code.

  For the size of the app, I'm not sure you need to do a lot on the C++ front initially, so you could defer this until a later date learning curve. Given how otherwise there is so much to learn here, maybe it's better.

  You must run in VMWare.  Open VMWare, choose open a Virtual Machine and navigate to the directory that you installed 10 BlackBerry Simulator for.

  I don't know how or why it happened, but one day to another, WMP won't open.   This arises from time to time, but I don't think that there is a difficulty of 100%.

  You can try (in no particular order)

  1. uninstall, reboot, reinstall WMP- http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/26107/how-to-reinstall-windows-media-player-in-windows-7-to-solve-problems/ if that doesn't help, try a SFC/scannow check - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

  3. You could try a system restore to a date before the problem occurred to see if that helps - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/system-restore-faq#1TC=windows-7 and see if it gets a WMP work back

  5. Or just simply forget about WMP and try another party 3rd multimedia player that you can install and uninstall at will, as free VLC - http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

  But it may be worth waiting a while to see if someone else has a better solution.

  I sat for my review of VDCA510 on September 12, 2013 , but the laboratory has hung up on me. Finally after that my test center admin spoke to pearsonvue, they canceled the review. I contacted vmware and they informed me that pearsonvue reschedules so my review. I had to calll pearsonvue United States, Dubai and the United Kingdom to inquire about my rescheduling. Finall exam was cancelled, the money has been repaid and I paid to see the review. The only available for examination date was 8 Oct 213.

  Today I went for my review of VDCA510. He started and I responded to the survey. After investigation, the error came on the screen saying that the test is invalid. Yet once we called pearsonvue which took away from the pc and taken up the review. Once again after that investigation was completed, same error here. Pearsonvue talk to vmware and VMware representative informed that VMware has cancelled the VCAP5 DCA (VDCA510) review for all candidates. All candidates who had their scheduled VCAP review reported on this subject by e-mail. However I have never had such an email. VMware has informed that this review will be available soon and candidates would be notified to postpone their consideration. However the applicant must record an incident with pearsonvue.

  I was wondering - is it true? Does anyone have this email that the examination had been postponed for all candidates? I'm afraid I never got that email and I'll never e-mail confirming when the review will be available. This time still I couldn't finish the review and its really hard to wait and prepare then again.

  Is anyone from VMware can confirm if this is true, and why the review has been postponed, please? The new review will rely on the same plane or VMware plans to change it?

  Hi all

  I'm pretty desperate here. I followed beyond posts on what to do when your AppleID is hacked, and many of them ended with "call Apple's Support." Apple support has been totally useless.

  My problem started on 14 March, when I received an email from Apple Support in Chinese, who thanked me for contact Apple. Shortly after, I got a bunch of notifications that my security questions and the password have been changed on my AppleID. Initially I thought that I didn't have access to my recovery email, which came from a former employer. However, I finally got the tech Director for the my old man use ' sdomain to get access to e-mail again. I used the website of julien inconu without result - no password reset email came through, although others did, which one expert of the main Apple support (as a test to confirm that the email address works).

  Two weeks ago, I spoke with my third Technical Advisor, which once again was super helpful, but she informed me she submitted the request to engineers just reset my email recovery (I still have access to the e-mail address associated with the AppleID), which is something made a support person previous (they said no (, but I think that the person has not only explain the question correctly). Again, I start to worry not this will go down as the other two.

  So, after hours and hours on the phone with specialists, who do not have the power/knowledge/combo? to help me, I always find myself waiting for resolution. Whenever I call, and they say they need to "check with the engineers" who then do not 2 weeks at a time.   I think at this moment, things are configured wrongly... for some strange reason things happens and elements on a stand-alone basis, return to a default mode.

  The best way to manage it is full factory reset on everything... and repeat the installation.

  It seems to me that you extend a NON-APPLE router... in this case, your Apple routers must connect by ethernet and create a wireless network. Routers Apple cannot extend the NON-APPLE router wired.

  The express could extend the TC or visa versa... by wireless...
