  Well, I have a problem... Each setting is fine, but when I open the layer mask on a layer, and if I have the black brush, it works very well, BUT if I brush white, it does not work.   Have you tried to reset the device? Keep holding the home and power buttons at the same time and continue to hold until the Apple appears (compared to 30 seconds - really). If you see the Apple, the reset is progressing and the Slide to Unlock screen will display shortly.

• LP2475w monitor R-G-B-black-white color sequence

  Hello

  recently my LP2475 shows no more the OSD. When I tried to change the input source (DVI-> HDMI), I accidentally pushed an unknown button combo, which causes the display to start showing the sequence of R-G-B-black-white color.

  I tried the solution described here (/t5/Monitors/LP2475w-cycles-colors-while-sleeping/td-p/5441593 (traction power cord & push power button for 60 seconds)), but without success.

  Any suggestions?

  I'm making some areas of a transparent video so that the clip (below) connected comes through transparency. I need to be transparent are the same color, which makes a color mask the obvious choice.   I recently made the switch using CorelDRAW for my vector art to mainly using Adobe Illustrator. I know of course that there will be some features that are exclusive to Illustrator and CorelDRAW exclusivity, but I've done the research on trying to find the "equivalents" in Illustrator for some tasks I could do in CorelDRAW.

  I know that the tool in Illustrator clipping mask is very similar to cutting power in CorelDRAW. What I'm trying to determine is if it's possible in Illustrator to create a clipping with a background color mask. In CorelDRAW, I could create a shape with a color fill Uni, and then insert an image with a background transparent, as shown below.

  

  Now, in Illustrator, when I create a shape with a color, then he and a pattern that is transparent to create a clipping mask, the color disappears:

  

  Is there a simple way to create a clipping with a solid background color mask? The only work around, I've found so far is a form of solid color, the same size as what I want to be the size of cutting with my transparent motive, then staple in another form of the group. As I said though, just curious to know if there is a simpler way to do this, or if this is the method I'm stuck with.

  A clipping mask can have its own fill.

  There are two methods:

  -After creating the clipping mask, select the path of masking with direct selection and apply a fill

  -Use the option 'Draw inside' to create the mask. Next draw is at the bottom of the tools Panel. With draw inside the maks object will not lose its filling.

• Pencil tool switches between black and white colors

  I've been using the pencil tool in Photoshop for a while, but he started to behave differently.

  When I have the foreground color, white color, and black background, the pencil tool draws in black. If I make a new line over an area that is black, it changes and performs the selection with white. It does behave like this for any other color as far as I can tell, and the layers do not seem to impact. The mode is too normal.   Uncheck Auto clear in the options toolbar and see if that makes a difference.

  Solution: In windows 7-> search programs and files-> entry "dccw.exe'-> entry will open"Welcome to the color grading"then follow the steps.

  I don't know if I have the right terminology, but what I have to do is make the part white/grey clear a transparent shadow (therefore the layer textured behind can be partially seen), blocking the dark grey part of an opaque shade. The shadow is an object cut out from a flat image with a white background.

  You make your selection by using the range of colors and then apply it to a layer mask. C, you can refine the layer mask using levels or curves to adjust the opacity of which has been selected.

  The webcam shows usually more colors like black and white only.

  I noticed that a retailer in the United Kingdom had a color option for the Sony Xperia Z5 called white ice instead of just white and that this color is exclusive to the Distributor. I can't quite see the differences. What is the difference between white and white ice version?

  White is the same as ice white, Xperia Z5 has a frosted rear panel that can look like the ice in his research.

• When Vista (Home premium) end its commissioning, my switches in black and white color scheme. I can't go back to the color. I looked at the display settings and they say all in colour, however, I am always shows black and white.

  Color screen is permenantly black and white. cannot change color and all the display settings are in color. Monitor is always on the color, its just something that vista went to. At the start of vista, it's after start of switches in black and white and color. I can't see where it get back to normal.

  The first thing I would say is to update or rather uninstall and reinstall display drivers and who might have to deal with the issue.

  Also I suggest you try to use another monitor to see if it is not a problem with the monitor.

  Let us know if the problem persists after the driver updates.

  Follow the steps below to print using black ink only:

  1. from the application used to print, click the file menu and select print.
  The print window is displayed.
  NOTE: The print window might be minimized: click the blue triangle next to product model (Mac OS X v10.5 or v10.6) or the button view details (Mac OS X v10.7 or 10.8) to display all of the available settings.

  2. to access the color options, click in the area of selection below, listed as the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)
  Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.

  3. Select Type/quality paper in the menu dropdown.

  4. click the triangle next to color Options of spending parameters.

  5. set the color to grayscale field.

  6. set the Mode to grayscale in black cartridge only.

  You can save the settings for later use by clicking preset > save current settings as preset.
