  It is an interesting problem. The computer is not yet a year old. Once occasionally (about every 3 hours) the computer screen lights up all white. Literally, never a pixel on the screen will be white.

  Please note that the computer is lying perfectly still and the screen is not be pushed or pulled in both directions. I think it's either a graphics driver related issue or possibly related material.

  Do you see the same behavior on an external monitor?

  Theoretically, it could also be a problem of display driver, but for the moment I think that it s hardware related problem. In any case, most recent display driver can be downloaded from the Toshiba page :)

  I have problem with my screen in Elitebook 745 (HD resolution +). It's strange pixels flickering on white background. I recorded a short video to introduce this issue: http://youtu.be/yRk643s59Eo

  It is only visible from certain angle. I have never seen this before on other laptops (even on the older). I tried to change the resolution and refresh rate, but it does not help. I checked the different systems (win 10 and Ubuntu).

  Would be - this technical problem or maybe a kind of "function of the screen? My eyes really hurt from that.

  I've updated the BIOS with the latest version (1.10) and fortunately flashing screen no longer exists.

  So this was a firmware issue, not hardware.

  I have a laptop Toshiba L450D-12 x, when you start the laptop, the screen is flashing / blinking on and non-stop.

  In my view it's hard to say what's wrong here.
  You said that if you connect the external monitor, the display is OK means (in my opinion) than the motherboard and graphics card should be ok.

  I think you should visit a next engineer downtown to get verified material sound much less expensive than buying the following parts.

  This error indicates hard drive has failed. You can replace it with a portable HDD SATA of detail. Just be sure to get the replacement which is at least as large a capacity that the original if you plan to use recovery disks to reinstall Windows. New hard drive may be more capacity but may not be less.

  I thought it would be the best forum page to post, but in any case I had trouble with these two things. The first is this random/flicker flashing, screen tapping the top of the screen could delay, but this is very random and makes sometimes standby extended or even restart more rare. I don't think overheatiing is because it looks cool enough. Very random though sometimes it happens not every day or a few days.

  The power button is very recent, it turns that if I do something such as unplug it or open/close the screen as I've seen, really don't know where these two could come, but this laptop is second-hand on ebay with a new OS installed.

  The HARD drive error is common so I saw, so I can deal with it. The usual startup error, a reboot solves this problem and it starts to load normally, have not seen all the patches, in addition to a clean wipe I don't want nessiserally to do.

  A few things you might want to know:

  I suggest to retrieve what you saved on your laptop and replace the HARD drive, you now have. It seems that the HARD drive, you may be out of any day. Make sure the replacement HARD drive is not too big.

Animations work well, but in the content viewer they start with a fraction of a second flash white in areas that they have been placed, that is distracting. The poster .png is a black white image as I want to reveal the entertainment at the entrance to the page. How can I get these to run without the initial white flash?

  Problem solved! Make sure that the concert on board using the alpha slider is set to transparent and the image of the poster to the export is made transparent in the export settings.

  Also, make sure that the pic box that contains the .oam file in Indesign is checked "Transparent" in the Panel inlays of Folio.
