White y410p screen

So I used my y410p yesterday without any problem, so I set it down for 15 minutes and closed the lid but when I opened the lid upward once again a white screen fit, which then changed too pink then back to black white and random lines appeared. I don't know whats wrong with it as it worked very well 15 minutes before. I connected the laptop to my TV via hdmi and it works and I can control everything but the main screen of the laptop is just white. All solutions?

It wobbles a little... when I press some keys on the keyboard, the screen flickers to pink or sometimes more vertical lines appear. I think it's just a cable connecting the screen and the motherboard, but I don't want to open and void the warranty. I called support and it will send to Texas for repair. Lenevo sent me a box to ship the laptop for the better?

  • A white blank screen as they were returning to the page of the site server page.

I'm trying to manage my site webapp hosted on Intext Cloud FX. The scenario that I face is the following

    1. I submit to the payment server servlet https://abc.com/paymentcall page.
    2. the server responds with an interim page (form with hidden fields), with a form by submitting parameters to the url of my Web site

My application is hit in the second stage when the server responds with an intermediate page and it shows a blank white screen.

Any help in this regard will be helpful.

    Concerning

Found the solution. Problem is that I tried to submit the form to the encrypted page (https) page (http) unencrypted. On the firefox browser, we get an alert message about this but on hosted application, no such message only made its appearance and comes only from the white screen. When submitted to encrypted (https) page everything has worked.

  • iMac 24 "(2006) begins with Pink/White pixelated screen"

Hi, my iMac 24 "2006 frozen while watching a YouTube video. Its done but the video froze. Had to force a shutdown. Handed on to a screen to Pink/White pixelated patterns. It starts, Apple logo, spinning wheel, then a blip, but just a pixelated pink and white screen blank. He went 3 - 4 (screen pixelated) Apple hardware test, 4 passes a Memtest, I got in Single User Mode (screen black green pixelated), Verbose Mode (screen pixelated), Disk Mode target (no problems in this mode) and Boot Mode target (no problems in this mode) with an another iMac. Fix problems with the HARD drive and also repaired permissions. All my files are intact and my OS x (Snow Leopard) seems well intact. It won't start any disk inserted in the drive Superdrive. I can eject the disc with a re - start to hold the eject button on the keyboard or the mouse. I get the startup chime, no beeps, no codes and only get the kernel panic when I try to boot from a CD/DVD disc. Do NVRAM/PRAM rested and reset the SMC have swapped the RAM with new RAM without result. It shows a ZERO GPU issues or fail before that. But he began to act more slow when t switched to firefox as my browser. With only 3 GB of Ram, not surprising. Other odd and random questions like losing all my personal settings one night a week earlier, as well as all my applications at rest again. As when I opened iTunes I got the Welcome screen and start again with iTunes. My files were intact, but even some of my emails had to be searched and imported again. Things like this. I thought of something was about to give... and it was probably the case. I'd hoped to Ram instead of the GPU problem. I do not suspect the GPU at the moment, even if many tell me that it's probably the GPU.  The only thing I found was under "Graphics" bad Apple hardware test it reads 'Unknown Video' in the profile section. No other beeps, errors, codes, etc. other than the screen pixelated and don't pretend to begin the OSX. I know it's 10 years old, obsolete, etc... but he has run nearly impeccable and had a very easy life so far.  My next step is to try an external monitor and see what happens. I need to find and get the right adapter for this first. It's a bit frustrating that I read some say HDD, another RAM, many GPU, some the OSX... but it has passed all Tests of material thin Apple. No error codes, beeps, blinking, nothing. Any other ideas? Thank you.

    DWD

To connect an external monitor to this iMac, you'll need a Mini DVI to... Adapter (DVI, VGA, or HDMI) .

  • White freeze screen Equium

My friend and I have the same laptop computer satellite and the same problem whenever it starts.
In a few minutes the screen goes all white and I need to bring up the Task Manager and close Internet Explorer (3 - 4 times) to close.
This happens every time after startup, even on two laptops.

Any ideas how to solve this problem?

    Hello

Have you tried to view the driver update?
    Do this!

It seems that this only occurs using IE.
As for the use of other internet browsers?
Maybe try firefox IE freezes and crashes, and this could be the reason for this white screen problem.

  • Tecra 8100: solid white vertical & screen turns off

    Hello

My Tecra 8100 has (or had) which seems to be a 'known fault': screen off, can be returned by pressing fn + f5 or the small metal button.
He also acquired a solid vertical white line about 1 mm wide and 30mm from the left edge. I managed to stop the problem of (backlight?) deletion of frame (thanks to those who responded to my previous, now locked, question!) by taking the cover off the screen and by disconnecting and reconnecting the ups. So now the screen always remains on. Unfortunately the white line is still there, and then that previously, the screen was normal except for the line, all right (i.e. all except 1 "of the screen) is now just multicolored stripes.

What do you think? I have been informed that the inverter is no power the backlight, which suggests that the problem of lines is something else. But they occurred at the same time. In addition, as far as I remember, when I was playing the connecting the inverter lines came and went (and then came and remained). Would it still a bad inverter connection? Or a broken inverter? Or more likely to be something else?

    see you soon,
    George

  • Satellite L675-S7040 - white flash screen

It is an interesting problem. The computer is not yet a year old. Once occasionally (about every 3 hours) the computer screen lights up all white. Literally, never a pixel on the screen will be white.

Please note that the computer is lying perfectly still and the screen is not be pushed or pulled in both directions. I think it's either a graphics driver related issue or possibly related material.

Any input on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi ccdwiu,

Do you see the same behavior on an external monitor?

Theoretically, it could also be a problem of display driver, but for the moment I think that it s hardware related problem. In any case, most recent display driver can be downloaded from the Toshiba page :)

  • White LCD screen

I got my laptop about 18 months and now it displays only a white screen with a few darker horizontal tasks.

This happened after letting me on, only to come back an hour later to a dead lcd screen. The laptop works fine with an external monitor.

What is the problem with it? Being a student, I can't really afford to replace the screen!

    Hello

It could be a fault of converter FL or other hardware malfunction. The FL inverter is not very expensive. In this case I recommend to contact the ASP Toshiba because it can do some diagnostic tests.

  • HP all-in - One PC 19-2113w 19: white/black screen after upgrading RAM

    Hello

So I have upgraded RAM using 2 x 4 GB SODIMM DDR3 Corsair 1600 Mhz, after installing the PC boots but screen is white/black

    steps to follow:

    1. I tried with 1 socket by using only a RAM, screen black

    2. I tried with 2 socket using RAM only one with the same RAM step 1, screen black

    3. I tried step 1 and 2 using the other RAM, screen black

    now here it gets interesting

4 tried 1 socket using Original/factory RAM, screen black

5 tried 2 socket using Original/factory RAM, screen black

    6. tried without any RAM at all, looks like a lack of RAM, screen black

Now, to each measure adopted, I must say that the screen sound not only not showing things, but its totally black as it does at all, until the system starts normally. !

Is it Possible the upgrade of RAM affect the screen? or maybe when I was replacing the RAM I hit some conecting by cable to screen or something?

  • White boot screen then... Enter keys cmos and BIOS?

At boot I have a totally white screen until after a minute, and I get Windows Welcome. Everything is fine in the case. I thought it was a default CMOS?  How to see startup messages, and which key that will allow changing the CMOS and BIOS? Tried F10, 2, 6, and same F8'm in safe mode? Hope I don't have to do a full restore? Thank you!

    Help

    Pat

    Hello

    1. what version of Windows Media Player is installed on your computer?
2 is this problem limited to only video files?
    3. What is the file format of the video files?

    Method 1.
I would ask you to update the Codecs for Windows Media Player and check.

Player Windows Media for Windows XP supported Codecs
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/291948

    Package of Installation of codec

    Method 2.
You can also update the drivers of graphics from the manufacturer's Web site and check. Another possibility is that someone else is at the origin of the conflict.
You need to perform a clean boot to find the program that is causing and then disable or remove.

  • Vertical bars, thin, white full screen of WMP11

With the help of Dell Dimension 4700, 3 GB RAM, EVGA GeForce 8400 GS with 512 MB, Windows XP SP3, SoundSpectrum G-Force 3.9.4.

When I open WMP11, then select show improvements, then close show improvements, then go to the mode full screen... There's a mess of thin, white vertical bars.  This is equivalent to any visualization I select, or if no view is selected.

No matter what I do - short of closing and reopening of WMP - him reappear the white vertical bars in mode full-screen.

Is this a known problem with WMP11?  No matter what known fix?  I searched 'vertical bars' in music and its Forum and found nothing.  Thank you very much!

I had the same problem, and before that I played with it too much I did research. These messages have helped me do a bit of that research. I also think that it may be useful to mention that I have a Radeon 5700 series, I use my TV 32 inches as my screen via the HDMI connection available on the vid card. Levels at 1600 x 900 is enabled. I am a COMPUTER professional and nothing of what I read seemed logical as to the root causes of this issue. I use this workstation for all and everything under the Sun, audio recording and mixing, capture video and administration of editing systems, encoding, gaming, etc. Basically, I make the most of my very competent and versatile Windows operating system. Sometimes, the simplest thing is the answer. In my case, it seemed that this was the case. I can't say I've done work for everyone, but it worked for me. That said, here's what I did to fix the problem. (I did all that, although not in full screen, still playing album The Roots Things Fall Apart I was listening too when I arrived in this issue)

    1. I disabled the visualization.
    2. I have a right-click on the screen and selected More Options...
    3. Click the Plug-ins tab. You should see the list of categories on the left and the right corresponding sub categories list.
    4. My category of visualization has been selected by default. On the right will be the list of visualizations that you have installed. (I have only the defaultAlchemy,Bars and wavesandbattery installed) When you have a view selected, you should see a section in this same window just below the list of categories.
    5. It should be a Properties button available when a specific view is selected.
    6. I tried to use properties for all the visualizations except battery and I got a message that says that this plug-in does has no properties that you can set.
    7. When I went into the properties of the battery there are 2 settings I could adjust. Screen size under full screen settings and the off-screen buffer size under Player settings.
    8. Only, I've adjusted setting the screen size to match my resolution (1600 x 900). I did adjust the other settings.
    9. I clicked OK to close this window. I clicked on apply and thenOK in the window main options.
    10. I activated the visualization of my preference. (Battery is being my favorite)
    11. I went full-screen, and the white bars. Visualization worked perfectly.
    12. I tried the other visualizations and got the same result with each of them.

Hope that this clear and the most important is useful.
