• All programs are now trying to open with WORD.

  Model HP laptop G56. Windows 7-64 bit. After inadvertently pressing the WORD by trying to open the Cubase 5 music program (after asking what program I want to open Cubase with) all the program on the desktop icons now appear as the letter W and the computer tries to not open in WORD now, which is impossible so no open programs. How I can fix this and restore the situation so that each program, i.e., Cubase, Excel and all the rest opens just in its own right? I tried to remedy this by the OPEN WITH menu, but it shows just a few programs and no way to repair my error.

  Hello:

  If it has not been produced for a long time, I just use the system restore utility and choose a restore point for awhile before you tried to open the program with Word.

  Are you saying that you want to Remove your projects?

  Until you do this, consider saving them to a flash drive or download them with the Share button. If you click on the "customize and print" box, you will be able to print your new project or change it later. (See image below).

• I can't access all the files on my computer, the window that ask to OPEN WITH the keep on poping up upward

  It just happened today while I was browsing the internet. now I can't access all the programs. ask (open with..)

  Start in safe mode / networking if it works. Then download malwarebytes to day then do a full scan

• installed office 2010, now all icons and programs try to open with "word".

  Somehow when I downloaded and run office 2010 from the Microsoft Web site, all my icons on my desktop now have a 'W' on them and try to open with Word, instead of opening with their own program.  I tried to change it, but without success.  Also, when I go in the beginning and all my programs are listed, they have all the 'W' on them and try to open it with word also.  Can not know what to do.

• Why all my apps say today "start trial"!

  I had CC 2015 for 55 days, and this morning when I opened the launcher, all my apps (except media encode CC 2015) says "Start trial" when they used to say 'Open '.

  Apps are not present anywhere in the system. Cleaning tool could not find them.

  But I've been sorted. I had carbon copy clone support my computer plugged USB hardrive. When I disassembled old applications gone too drive.

• Cannot .jnlp file open when asked to open with the browser web firefox in ubuntu 11.10 using firefox 6

  After the upgrade to ubuntu 11.10 the firefox browser 6 download and open from the website interactivebrokers .jnlp file. Usually, I go to the IB website and download the tws.jnlp file that opens in the browser web firefox. But now when I click on open it with the button in the Firefox browser, firefox browser opens a new tab and view the same open the window again.

  Seems that, after the upgrade to 11.10, jnlp files will open with firefox instead of javaws (Java Web Start).
  If you right-click on the file in the download folder and choose 'Open with', you can start web java manually.
  Bug in Ubuntu...

  You can do a right click any .jnlp file and select 'Properties', go to 'Open with' tab, mark Sun Java 6 Web Start and click "set as default". Should fix. I don't know what will happen if you have java ubuntu by default instead of the Sun may be that it is not necessary.

  Long version:

  There are various reasons why the serial number can be lost/invalidated. Usually (more common) it is because during the installation, a fingerprint of the system has been filed and the software has detected that the system is no longer one that you've installed the software on. This can be a very simple (as the name of the computer) to the complex (os type, NIC MAC address, CPU ID, a serial... OS) validation. At some point, the software determines: enough is enough, I don't trust it more.

  This problem existed before ThinApp or any other virtualization were introduced. Until a few years ago, it was common to "phantom", a role the same image on all systems in a company and system.   You know the date where this problem occurred?
  If so, do a system restore.
  Choose the date BEFORE this problem happened as your restore point.

  How to do a system restore:
  Start button > Search box, type system restore > press the Enter key > uac prompt > click on choose a different restore point > next > select dates as your restore point, until the click > next > finish
  To sit and wait. The machine restarts when it's done.

  Please open "Control Panel > Default Programs > associate a type of file or Protocol with a program. Then select .pdf and change the word Adobe Acrobat program.

  Then close the window and try to open the PDF files.

• Why all of a sudden cannot print invoices with money, more? I can print everything.

  I can print everything on my printer except the Bills and records of Microsoft Money Plus.  I can print graphics, reports, etc. the money and all that of other programs, but not invoices and statements.  This happened yesterday and was working fine until this date.
