  I am facing a problem quite annoying and any help would be appreciated.

  So, when I select text and you want to zoom in or out the window/text using the normal or even with (cmd + /) it works fine. Now it gets interesting; When I try to do the same thing, but with my trackpad instead, highlight the text disappears. The highlighted text then only reappear if I go back to the 'right' zoom setting for example, 137%.

  Any suggestions?

  Yes. To highlight text, it must be 'true' text, IE the text can be selected, not just an image.

  To convert an image in real text, you need to Acrobat or a subscription to the PDF package.

I wanted to use the text highlighter tool to highlight the important parts so that I can quickly refer to it later but found that the tool is off. I even tried to convert the PDF to a new version (1.6, 1.7) and in PDF / X etc. but nothing helps.

• Mouse don't work in Microsoft Word to select text, or highlight text to copy or add features like bold/italic/underlined.
