It started to happen after aol session help to restore the wireless also reconfigured my internet factory setting feature to Windows 7. I don't remember what it was about, but I have windows 7 on this computer, that's why they told me to change. I don't make any sense?

  • Time Capsule - unstable internet connection

Using of a new airport Time Capsule and a detail Comcast modem my internet connection is intermittent.

The display above goes green and then red in no obvious pattern.

I don't know what to do now. In time, I started this response network screen Diagnostics went all green again. But it won't last.

I tried the usual reset of the modem and TC. The problem affects my ethernet connected iMac and MBP of my wife.

    Any ideas?

Re: Time Capsule - unstable internet connection

    Vice versa...

What model is your TC? If it is earlier than later to get the A1xxx of the base number... If it's the AC model just to say... Version of ca. No number is given which is really poor.

What model is your comcast modem? Real brand and model base please.

More important if the comcast is actually a router... That is to say, it has more than one ethernet port. We need to know, it is actually running in Bridge mode or a router... screenshots of TC installing airport utility is more useful than the Network Diagnostics. TBH I'm surprised you even found network Diags El CAPO as they hide it very well.

Please give me all with summary... as above... nothing will reduce your security. Try it with mine... even if you have a public on the WAN port IP address, it changes every time that you restart the modem... so this process, we can easily have all the details you give... unless you know the serial number of my TC... What's that serves... None...!

NOTE... If you have a simple modem Arris begins with SB eg SB6121 SB6141 as well as other models and version AC TC... they have well known problems... Apple has not breathed a Word... but there are a lot of posts here on the problem... and it is high time that Apple fix it... because it affects no other routers... just of airports in apple...!

  • Went from "Windows Media" to "Windows XP SP3". Now, I get "Error Message 871122" trying to get a wireless Internet connection.

    Here are the facts:

    1. to have access to the internet with a direct line to router Ethernet ONLY, but no wireless connection.
    2. verified Harware for "Intel (r) PRO/Wireless 2915ABG Net" - WORKS FINE.
3 drivers for the cards above, have most recent downloads - WORKS FINE.
4 activated the 'USE WINDOWS TO CONFIGURE MY WIRELESS NETWORK SETTINGS' button on the tab 'network connections'.

In fact... impossible to find the above until that earlier. What happened immediately, is that I no longer get the "ERROR MESSAGE to SEE the ARTICLE ID: 871122" message. And instead, I could FIND my network. He finally has shown Up! However...

Now, I clicked on my network and click 'CONNECT' and his request now a WEP key to be entered twice.

    Hi oms1957

I recommend you try these methods

    Method 1:

Reset the wireless network and make sure that you set the level of security to WPA2-Personal, as it is recommended.

Here are some links that will help you set up the wireless network

What are the different wireless network security methods?

    Method 2:

If this does not clear if installed third-party antivirus and then try to connect. If the problem is resolved, you have to uninstall the antivirus and reinstall back or check with the settings.

    Method 3:

Cycle power to the router and check if this is useful.

It could be the phone splitter that could be faulty. In addition, you can check if you can contact your ISP Internet Service (ISP) for assistance.

  • Why did I lose some file options in the menu bar?

When I log in adobe acrobat to cloud - it will provide me with options for files, send, fill and sign, but also to combine files, etc.

Several times it has reset and all of a sudden I lose the options at the top to create PDF files, combine files - and only allow me to see the options for files, send, fill & sign (when what I really need to do is to combine a file or create a pdf file). I am doing something to lose or hide menu options? How to make a comeback? Thank you!

  • Lose the wireless internet connection when it is not active

    Hello
I have an annoying problem. IM losing my connection wireless internet access after a few minutes is not active... Well not according to the 'doctor' program - it shows no signs of a problem.

Looking at the 'LAN' icon, I see he's trying to connect when I ask, for example, an update on the current site, but simply not turn on the blue bar.

The only cure to get online is to update the connection.

    What I'm doing wrong here?

    Thanks in advance... Jens

    Hello Jens

Please check the option sign-out after x... on your router. The sign-out feature is used to disconnect the router from your ISP automatically when there is no activity for a certain period of time. For example, place a check mark next to this option and enter 5 in the minute field will cause the router to disconnect from the Internet after 5 minutes of no activity from the Internet. This option should be used if you pay for your Internet service by the minute.

    Good bye

I've had my computer for almost three years now and during that time, most of the parties on this matter have been replaced.

More recently, I got both my hard drive and my card wireless replaced due to different problems and now it has developed recently that I can not connect to wireless internet. I live with my best friend, who also has a Dell laptop and I myself own an Acer Netbook and an iPhone, both of which successfully connect to wireless internet. It seems that my system that is having this problem.

I spoke with representatives of Dell's Support more + 5 times and nothing has solved this problem. They simply tell me it's a software problem and I have to buy something System Repair for $100 + (even after having spend $600 on a warranty, which apparently doesn't cover that material).

Obviously, I can connect to via an ethernet/cable connection, but not wireless. It's not that the connection is not displayed, it shows and said it connects, but I only have 'Local' go. This isn't the first problem I've had with my wireless; I got other errors such as: "the ability of this network adapter does not match the requirements of this network" or the connection will show, but that their will to be greyed out as if I don't get any kind of connectivity.

If there is more information that I can give to make this easier to understand, please let me know. I'll post the Windows IP Configuration if necessary to help solve this problem.

    Short version:

    -New wireless card

    Hello

Since the update of the driver did not work I would return the system back to factory
as suggested in my response above. After the revision updated the WiFi driver again. If this
does not work then it's material. If necessary, you can disable the built-in WiFi and
use a device of WiFi add-on.

    I hope this helps.

    EY you have some questions,

Funny, is that I have my laptop 4 on lets say half a year. I had problems with my wireless connection, I tried 2 fix it, but really never been stable.

But now I had a problem I've ever had before, can't get no Internet connection what so ever with my wireless connection, only time when I get a connection is
When I put in the cable.

Checked a lot of posts but nothing really worked, tried the FN + F8 verified and updated http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/.
Tried to update my Realtek RTL8187B wireless 802. 11b / g 54Mbps USB 2.0 network adapter, but he can't find anything on the net.

Let me know what you guys think I should do.

    Hello

Well, you said that the Internet connection is working that with the cable so you have checked the settings wireless LAN on the router? WLAN is enabled on the router?
In addition, you should try to update the firmware on your router.

Also, make sure that you use the same WLAN settings than on your router. I mean the channel and speed (e.g. 802.11 g).

You should also try to disable encryption on the router. Can you connect to the router then?

Finally and most importantly, you use factory settings or you have installed another OS?
