Why do I always restart my computer (wireless) when I leave it alone for 30 minutes during the night?

Acer (my computer) & Time Warner Cable (my internet connection) could not help me with these problems.  I have had this computer for 2 + years and changed a Linksys router to a router SMC (Time Warner router) ~ a year ago. No problems until 3-4 months ago.

(1) when I'm away from my computer w/windows open or closed, I click my mouse to wake my computer. He then loses the internet connection. I used to have to restart my computer whenever I needed to use it (sometimes 6 times / day). Then I moved the router as close as I could - 2' reconcile (32 ~' router). Yet once, it worked w/no problems up to the ~ 3-4 mos ago. So, if I click my mouse & let stand for a few minutes, the Internet exploded (red "x"), then yellow and then blue (which means I have to then wireless). Now for the last two days, I'm back to having to restart almost everytime.

(2) my email: when I opened my mail, I used to have click on the "receive" button (because they do not have their own) and then very slowly they came w / the mailbox Windows list 2 30, etc.. Sometimes I 3,4 & 5 copies of the same message.

It is not the router because then my husband's computer (which is not in, but wireless is connected to this router) would not work.

  • How to run windows (vista, 7), during the night, or during any period of time and do not have to worry it restart itself.

Windows Update will restart when the changes are applied.  I understand why.  However, when I do not use windows, which is relatively rare, and the specific task, I often run long processes.  Windows will reboot the machine by force regardless of what I'm doing at the time.  I guess if you are electronic control or Watch youtube, its not that big of a deal, but when it stops at Midway for a night process, its quite frustrating.

I had turned off the windows update service, so I guess that takes care of things, or is there another process that verifies that the windows update is running and restarts it?  Thoughts?  Even if restarting is intentional, the fact that a modern operating system will turn off when it receives a message from the mother ship is quite disturbing (beat tone comes from the fact that I'm a nerd of linux.  Sorry).

  • Why my iphone 6 s died (charge, turn on or not display the apple logo or no. battery icon after that scheduling the ios updated during the night)

Can someone please tell me why my iphone 6s has just completely off after/while (im not sure that I was asleep) iOS update? everything was going well with the phone except for a crack in the screen, so I am really confused as to why he died so suddenly just completely? and if it needs to be replaced the warranty would cover this? Help, please

    Hello

Follow the steps here, including the verification of the charge for debris socket:

If your problem persists, contact Apple support (mail service may be available) or make a Genius Bar reservation in order to have your iPhone verified and, if recommended by Apple, served.

Your double post indicates that your iPhone is covered by the limited warranty of one year. No one here can tell you if your iPhone would be replaced under warranty (you don't talk to Apple here - it is a community based on the user).

If your iPhone is eligible and requires a repair material, note that you need to pay for the cracked screen to be repaired by Apple - or possibly for out-of-warranty repairs, if the damage is more extensive.

I use Windows Vista Basic. and 5 FF, but it also happened with the previous version of FF.

You must not close properly Firefox with output with window close.

    1. ALT + F, X (File > Exit)-the 'X' in the top right just the closed window, do not expect it to close Firefox
    2. Make sure that Firefox is actually closed by Windows Task Manager: Ctrl + Alt + Delete, then choose Start the Task Manager, then make sure you look at the processes tab, if you see firefox.exe closing by right click on the line, then end the process tree

Looking at the Application tab instead of tab processes will not help you, you have to look at the processes tab.

If the installation asks you if you want to start Firefox to deny you that, after installation finished., run Firefox under normal conditions, this way in a way you avoid the possibility of creating another profile and can create confusion on the basis of the wrong profile.

  • Everything on my laptop lost during the night. Seems to be like a new computer with none of my icons, folders, pictures, or whatever it is that I put on here. Don't know what happened! Help, please.

All I can with certainty you know is that I work with this computer laptop 9 Feb and finished updating a blackberry phone while I arrived he began to countdown a restart down to the right and I just let it continue to countdown, as I have before installing updates could.  I sat down and closed the monitor.  No has nothing do with computer laptop lastnight, but turned on tonight and most of my icons were missing.  According to me, the wallpaper is different from the front and I got on the internet as usual without any problem.  When I got off the internet to work with pictures of my newborn (only child), the only icon I had on the desktop is Ebay.  Not as if I had everything set up.  I then went to images and he had only the file sample.  Having felt that I would be sick then tried to look for some other stuff that I had in the records and doesn't seem to be anything anywhere.  Please help if you can.  This laptop is a Dell Studio, which is less than 5 months old.  Please help before my wife kills me for all our photos backup not.

Thanks much for the advice, but I found where some updates have not been filled and after several reboots and updates processing everything on my desk, changed again the way I got it.  In fact, I went to C: users and then myself, then all my documents, pictures, ets. was there, so I later found lastnight it wasn't lost, just moved for some reason any.  I then started to look to check the status of the updates pushed out and there are service packs that has not been installed, so I crossed my fingers and agreed to allow them to install and went to bed.  Now computer seems to be back to my settings.  But thank you very much for answering.  It was the first time that I've already posted a question b/c that I generally find the answers online, but it was getting the best of me.  Probably b/c of the thought of losing all my photos only Childs and thinking of how my wife would react.  Thank God it worked.  Thanks again.
