  I too hate this pause button. It is for many people who want to play media without having to turn on the machine (well at loading Windows). Turning it off can cause some other headaches later.

  My opinion: it didn't.  It is a worthless utility that gives inexperienced users of false security.  As it is with all that is complicated (with so many variables) as the upgrade a computer operating system that needs to interact with a possible combination of millions of different hardware components in probably as many sellers as well as many software available in any variety of versions, the installation order, etc. - each individual will have to check on their own stuff to check everything they have is ready/compatible on a per article basis.
   
  I said for more than a decade now in these forums (and the previous discussion groups.)  If you want it well done, you do it yourself and you ask people trust you for assistance.  You can * tell * trust you Microsoft, Intuit, Adobe, Apple, etc. - but do you really?  No. you're more likely to come to a place like this with people like you and ask for help.  Google what they say, how many people are in agreement and then... go with it or ignore it.
   
  Probably more along the line of the party: it's a utility to give "advice" - just like anyone else in you giving advice, it is up to you what you do with it and how much trust you him.

I tried several times with the same error that results. Any suggestions as to why?

  I bouht a MS wireless keyboard and mouse model 3000 V2.o a year ago. The letters on the keyboard have dissipated, even if my use is very light and intermittent.

  MS over the phone told me that it is normal wear and tear even if I find that it is supposed to be a 3-year warranty. It's very bad and disturbing. Microsoft should not be selling a keyboard that has the letters fade so that the keys are not readable.
  Microsoft. to this day, refused to replace the product under their warranty.
  I love the keyboard. If only I could read the letters about it. I don't think it's fair that I might have to paint over the letters with nail polish or something.

  You are running Windows 7 Home Premium or higher edition? Themes do not work in lower editions like Windows 7 Home Basic and Windows 7 Starter.

  But if you use Windows 7 Home Premium or higher and want to use Windows 8 theme, please change the file extension to zip to extract the images from the file and you need create your own theme among these images.
  .themepack is the only expansion supported by Windows 7. .deskthemepack is the extension that works only with Windows 8 (note that .themepack is also supported by Windows 8).
