• Why does not open ADE 4.5 in Windows 10?

  When I click on the desktop icon, I get a cursor for a few seconds, but no window ADE appears.  I checked the Task Manager and no application ADE is active.  I uninstalled and reinstalled ADE several times and get the same result.  I have an ASUS transformer CHI T100 computer with operating system Windows 10.  Before I upgraded to win 8-10, I could open ADE and activate it.  So maybe that's why I get no error windows.  Other that the cursor occupied at all nothing happens when I try to run ADE.

  Any ideas?  I use ADE mainly to transfer eBooks from my computer to my Nook reader.

• Why does not load Lightroom 5 DVDs on a Macbook Pro?

  I tried to install on my old 17 "Macbook Pro running 10.6.8 5 Lightroom. 5 LR has informed me that he could only be installed on 10.7 or higher. I have updated my OS Lion (10.7.5) and tried again. Now, when I insert the DVD of 5 LR there in a moment, while the MBP is a few quiet noises, never of the towers, and then it spits out the rear DVD. Help! WHY is that what it's doing this? It support and showed me a Setup screen when I had the old OS running - but now the DVD does not load!

  Worse still, my LR2 hangs everytime I try to rebuild some web galleries - so I'm well and truly stuck, unable to make promised to work for a client and shed tears of frustration. Adobe (or someone) - Please, please help!

  • CTRL + click on the link
  • Click the link with the mouse wheel (if you have one)

  If you use Firefox for a while, can associate you it in time with any software change, such as:

  • hardware driver update

  Does not work if Firefox: Hold down the SHIFT key when you start Firefox.

  If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:

  • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
  • Help menu > restart with disabled modules

  and OK reboot.

  Two scenarios: A small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not update).

  I have PS cloud creative/load d & LR.

  PS works fine but LR refuses to start.

  Get the error msg (the app was unable to start correctly (oxc000007b).

  I tried to sign on and in, rebooted twice to no avail.

  I have same Lightroom_64-Bit_DLLs d/load and installed but did not work.

  I use Win 64 - bit s/ware.

  Any advice?

  Well, apologies to answer my own question, but the solution is simple... just install current java from Apple for OSX. Check out this link. I did and now CS5 works again.

  Hello, I bought Lightroom 6.0 in 2015 Dec (not membership of the creative cloud - just the application). I have used it very well, but do not have the last couple months. When I go to open the application, the wheel just keeps spinning with Lightroom front page showing version 6.0. Nothing happens and the application does not in fact. I thought to uninstall but don't know if I can re - stall it now. I know there have been a few updates to the 6.0 version, but because the application does not open, and I can't actually click on anything on the top tool bar of Lightroom, I don't know what to do.
