  It will happen when your Photoshop color settings (image 1) does not match your files.  The first thing to do is to check your color settings (Edit > parameters of color or shift-command-K).  You will see that mine is set to ProPhoto RGB.  When you use RAW files, you can set the desired picture profile by clicking on the link at the bottom of the window of Camera RAW, which will bring up the workflow Options (image 2).  Here, you can see that mine is set to ProPhoto RGB, which means I'm not all conflicts.  You will have the profile matches no window, when these are different.

  Most cameras have the possibility of sRGB and Adobe RGB for RAW files no, and when the RAW capture ignores this parameter allows to set in the workflow window.  I hope this helps.

• DB file sharing - why it appear?

  I keep seeing these DB sharing files that appear whenever I create a file in Indesign.

  WHY they appear and clutter my account online?  I guess they are for use of the program, but why they aren't working behind the scenes?  This only happens with CS6.  I've never had happen with CS5.

  I tried to delete an and it makes my Indesign file do not work.  So I pulled it back out of the trash.

  Any way to make it go away in the preferences?

  InDesign is simply list all fonts that you have installed (or that the software is installed) on your system. If you use InDesign CC, you can set Favorites and filter to show only favorites.

  Click the star on the list of fonts in the control panel or character beside the fonts you want to see more. Then click on the star at the top of the list filter, and only these fonts appears. To review all policies, click on the star to unfilter filter fonts.

• Thumbs.DB... Why is appears?

  Running Win7; 32 bit...

  Recently I saw the Thumbs.db appear on my desktop and other folders. I've read several thread that leads me to believe Thumbs.db is created and displayed is a 'normal '. However, I've been running Win7 for almost 2 years and I just started see Thumbs.db icons in 5 months. After writing that, seeing that the Thumbs.db had to start because anything changed on my PC... which believe me, I did not. A single thread describes a registry change that I really want to do the... suggested registry change suugested and; I look for folders that should be chnaged and in my Version of Windows. These files\Folders did not exist.

  Once more, the Incons Thumbs.db began to appear in the last 5 months... and my Win7 32 bit has been installed for 2 years... something changed unknown to me... and I would like to know what... and change it back the way it is prior. Restore to a date when it started is not an option.  Whenever it appears on my desktop and I move to the trash Bin... He eventually re-aapears on the desktop.  I didn't pictures, etc on the desktop.  I have my folder VIEW Option set to show hidden files\folders and do not want to change this setting...

  There must be a reason thumbs.db is appearing and probably other than a registry... Folder\View parameter change... do stop appearing on the desktop.

  I tried to understand the problem by forcing the thumbs.db creation, but I have been unable to do.  As the setting is mentioned in internet discussions of the subject, I tried setting & also remove Windows explorer, tools, folder options, view, always show icons never thumbnails.  I also tried to change the type of image file, documents, etc., but that only results in the file desktop.ini being created.

  Thumbs.db files that were already on my system remain in place, but no new ones are created.  So I looked at those already there.  I believe the explanation that they are thumbnails of folder caches to speed up the display of the contents of the folder, but I couldn't find that reflected in the file date stamps.  All at the same time, there are a few files that I know have been created specifically for presented in sets of photos [tax, said] and no records or files have been changed since.  But the date stamp does not match.

  I deleted a couple of my thumbs.db files and they remain deleted even after a reboot - this is not the behavior that you find.

  * I don't think that you will need to include an explanation for system files that are visible as hiding such a common system protection frame to have.  If you do not include an explanation while the new thread is as prone to misplace the point as did this thread.

  This should force the modal appear correctly.

• Help place the images - why they appear to 150% and a bad image?

  Relative newbie here.

  I have my display performace in InDesign too high. If I "place" an image or just simply slip it on the page, and little matter which image file format I use (tif, png, jpg, whatever), when placed, the images appear about 50% bigger than the source and low - ish quality. I have then to try to manually resize them so they look good on screen and when printed.

  OK, if the balance indicates 100% with the direct Selection tool, that's what you have. Note that using the regular selection tool (the black arrow) will ALWAYS show 100% in the areas of scaling unless you have set your preferences to 'adjust scaling percentage', this is why you use the direct Selection tool to check. You can also select the image with the tool and look at the Info Palette. the real and effective ppi listed will be the same at 100%. What resolution is currently in the range of information?

  I asked vs click, click and drag because in CS4 when you drag an image is still growing the image to fit. That's not true in CS3.

  Screenshots are generally 72 ppi to size, they are captured. 72 DPI is low for most of the printed work, but no one expects very much in terms of quality for screenshots. You really place, right, is not dragging from Photoshop in ID, which is the equivalent of collage? Paste a picture gives you only the preview screen in CS3. I'm not sure you will see a difference with a screenshot, however, since the preview will be also 72 dpi.

  If the image is really too large on the page you can evolve in ID now the Ctrl + Shift keys while dragging a handle. You must press the keys before you click the mouse in Windows because there is a bug. You can also use the scale tool, or enter a new value of the scale in the areas of scaling. You can use actual dimensions in these areas if you include units, incidentally.

  In Photoshop, you can adapt the image using Image > Image size... If you uncheck the 'resample image' the resolutiuon will change inversely proportional to size, in order to reduce the size will increase the resolution, but there will be no difference in quality during the scaling in ID.

• Dreamweaver 8 will not appear long docs

  I update a catalog online and usually start with a very long document HTML - nothing fancy, without tags except < P > - but I got about 3000 paragraphs to a single line in this document, which I use cut and paste other html docs updates each. The problem is that Dreamweaver 8 don't show me more than the first 600 lines or so of my document of 3000 + line; If I continue to scroll the document after that, all I see is much, much white/white space. It wasn't a problem in previous versions of Dreamweaver, which will display all of the document very well. I met the same problem on a Powerbook G4 with 2 GB of RAM, as well as a newer Intel MacBook Pro. Someone else this experience? Does anyone know a cure? I know that all the documents in it - I can open it and see every line in a browser. (I guess I could find and reinstall Dreamweaver MX or break my long doc in five or six different positions, but or the other choice would be a pain at this stage).

  The answer to this question may have already been posted but I couldn't find when searching.
  
  I'm currently running SQL Developer 1.5.1 and I set up the display while the newspaper is minimized. When I debug, or compile packages log error/warning messages appear. However, this does not remain on the screen long enough so that I am able to read and only 1/4 times to get to the window of the journal fast enough to click on it to keep it open. Is it far from making the newspaper pop until I have minimize or at least stay on the screen for longer periods, so that I can reach him in time? I believe that it is currently staying on the screen for less than 1 second.
  
  I don't want the newspaper to display all the time because it takes up valuable space, that I find useful when writing my code. It gets in the way more when I use the SQL statement window/script output window.

  I generally keep anchored and play with the separator: set to a minimum when coding, then after compilation I just expand the pane.
  But even when reduced, just appropriate the mouse on the tabstrip control would show the pane, so I don't see what problem you have here.

  When I open Firefox there are always 2 visible tabs. The first is my home page, and the second is my options. How can I stop options appear as a second tab. I can reach the options menu if I need. It's annoying to have to close every time I open Firefox.
