WHY HP DID NOT RESPOND ON THE FAULT OF INTEL CHIP? -MOST OF THE OTHER SUPPLIERS HAVE

Acer, Asus, Dell, emachines, Gateway, Lenovo, Maingear, origin, Puget, Sony, and Velocity Micro systems have all contacted their clients about the recent failure of chip Intel associated with the game of Sandy Bridge processors. (see http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-20030052-1.html)

Why HP, largest manufacturer of PCs in the world, said nothing?  Some of the solutions envisaged by the sellers who actually contacted their clients (what a concept) include the replacement motherboard, motherboards, etc., accelerated replacement warranty extensions home. They have at least the courtesy to say something.

Intel has already planned $700 million to pay for repairs. It seems that sellers taking advantage of this and offering solutions that have the least absolute impact on customers who have adopted this new technology so quickly. It's the kind of situation where every speech dealing with customers gets really shown be a lot of marketing BS or can actually manifest as really take care of things and real customer loyalty.

  • Why Microsoft did not recognize or set the iexplore.exe virus?

    After cold boot my Toshiba Satellite laptop computer with Vista, pane the Task Manager process shows no instance of iexplore.exe. However, after using the computer for a while (using Outlook, Crome, Excel etc) my system slowly grinds almost to a halt several instances of iexplore.exe appear in the process pane, each consumer of 15 to 25% of the total of processor cycles. This becomes worse and worse until the system becomes unusable.

    I belong to several thousand users of Windows who is plagued by the iexplore.exe virus. I used 5 different virus/malware removers (including MS Security Essentials and MSERT.exe), but they do not solve this problem.
    Why Microsoft did not recognize this virus dangerous and done something to remove it? (ODILE. EXE does not help).  Only users that I found on the web that have to get rid of this nasty virus are those who reformatted their hard drives.  Microsoft can surely do better than that.
    Has anyone found a solution that actually works?  (A lot of the fixes suggested on the net "seem" to work for a few hours or a day or two, but then the virus appears again upward and consumes most or all of the cycles CPU).
    I'm surprised that Microsoft do not have a solution to the problem. If you have a solution that really works, please let me know. Thank you.

    And you think this is a virus why? I admit it could be a root kit, but I suspect that a program you use called IExplore to launch a URL, but fails to launch a browser window, that is why tasks of runaways.

    It worked for me
    (1) open my computer-> Control Panel-> modems Options and.
    (2) on the Modems tab, select your modem from the list, and then click Properties.
    (3) in the Advanced tab, click Change default Preferences.
    (4) the speed of the Port is by default 115200; change to 9600 and see how it
    going.

    I wanted to spend my Qosmio X 300 - 14 p of Ram of 4 GB (2 x 2 GB) up to 8 GB (2 x 4 GB).

    I ordered a fitting 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) the value of Atelco, where this set of 8 GB costs 155,-Euro
    (while in the shops in thoshiba 4 GB is more than 300, - means 8 GB more than 600,-, ridiculous). :

    I ordered this one:
    8 GB - Kit Corsair ValueSelect SO-DIMM PC3 - 8500S CL7

    This was exactly the necessary RAM, 2 x 2 GB, still are the same.

    PROBLEM:
    the x 300 wouldn't start when 8 GB of ram are connected
    (same tzhen does not start, screen stays black and nothing happens (you don't hear departure of fans and hard drives etc.)).

    the merchant first thought, the qosmio is reserved to the maximum of 4 GB completely, but I was able to convince him that this is not true.
    then he assumed "branding" (only some modules work).

    but it was also not true, because the two modules to 4 GB worked when connected only.
    the two modules worked in places, housing upper and lower.

    even weirder: I could plugin 1 x 4 GB and 1 x 2 GB and it would start perfectly and appear 6 GB (6144 MB).

    I checked the specification for the Qosmio x 300 - 14 p and you can confirm that you can improve up to 8 GB. Toshiba recommends using 4 GB modules compatible with the PA3377U-1M4G part number. This module has been tested and it will work. You can also buy the Kingston high quality module. It also works.

    To be honest, I never heard of Corsair. I only use Kingston.

    I have problems with animation character "not responding" during the launch. All new win 8.1 installation - AE seems to work very well. I thought that this could be my driver for the webcam but uninstall and stall did not work. No other problems with the system so farhati i7 cpu with Quadro K2200 card. All this experience?     Figured it out... initially disconnected the webcam and it worked (less obviously in the camera). Then I uninstalled the Logitech software and reinstalled the driver only. Don't know if it was related to the software or simply contributed to update the driver. However, it is currently working.

    Check the configuration of Windows.

    Usually when you stop and restart Windows, Firefox is not running and can be started normally.

    It is possible that something is triggering a process in your default browser and it is the hanging of Firefox. You can try to change your default browser to IE (IE can offer to do when you start) before the shutdown and restart Windows to see if it makes a difference.
