Why is my current residence incorrect?

My current position for various applications is displayed incorrectly. My town is bordered by two other cities. While at home, some applications display my current location as one or the other cities, but never like my own city. Specifically, the maps and the weather app in the Notification of the user.

Cards

Maps shows my position as being a little way of streets in one of the neighbouring cities. Is it possible to manually set my current position?

Weather

Is there a way to manually set my current position? The weather app shows weather for one of the neighbouring cities like my current position. The city displays includes a very large area of inland and coastal areas in hillside, inner, central regions. Therefore, the displayed temperature is different from my city by 10 degrees every day, or watch troubles when it is sunny outside without a cloud in the sky, etc..

Is there another way to edit the list of cities and reorganize? Tried to add my city, but the green Add button will not activate. When I click on the 'i' icon, impossible to remove any of the other listed cities or activate the icon 'list' for a city on the list. Change the button only allows me to add or remove items from the category, not to change the content in the weather application.

Version10.11.6 OS X running on iMac 21.5 inches, end of 2012

Would appreciate any help.

Thank you!

Mac have no GPS radios in them. Then how a Mac running OS X to determine its location? In other words, it cannot on its own. OS X uses to place your WiFi connection to sweep all other routers in the area to try to bring your location. You never have a quite exact location, and it will really change from time to time. As long as you understand it, you can know that your approximate location is sufficient for most applications that rely on location information.

See this link for more information. You cannot manually set your location.

Why Windows 7 displays an incorrect amount of free disk space / used on my DVD - RW drive?

Windows 7 can show the incorrect amount of free and used space in serious DVD - RW or DVD + RW media properties.  After burning data on the disk, Windows 7 could show that there are 0 bytes of used space and free space available on the disk capacity.  In reality, the amount of used and free space on the disk is reversed.

  • Why control 'Reload current page' has been moved to the navigation bar 29 Firefox? I wish I could put it where I had it in Firefox 28.

After completing the download of Firefox 29 I tried to reorganize my buttons\controls to where I used to have them in Firefox 28 and earlier versions. I noticed, in particular, that the 'reload current page' control is no longer available to be located in front of the navigation bar where I got it for years. The reason why I chose Firefox was in the first place because I could customize to my liking. I know that you can just right click and "Recharge" tab or just get used to go all the way (right side) of the bar of navigation but that defeats the purpose entirely for me.

Here's an analogy; Ford decides that they will replace now current car models to the United States with British standard style vehicles. All cars sold by Ford will now be right steer. While this may seem like a "No biggy" to some, others, especially those of us who are prone to driving manual transmission vehicle, maybe a little resistant to this change. You do not know if I managed to make my point of view or not, but I hope that I did.

Initially I thought I would start by "is someone fell and hit their head?" or "did Steve Ballmer suddenly support Mozilla, especially the version of Firefox 29, because it feels like a Windows 8 (aka the aroma of a tank full of sewage on a hot day)?" It is understood that updates are needed and as a computer scientist, I was around for many odd where the folds just to settle. They occur. Perhaps some consideration will be Firefox 30 to those of us in States that are used for vehicles left direction.

I may be missing something here and fall on my sword if this is the case, but there is no indication that I've seen at the sight of Mozilla that the 'reload current page' control cannot be manipulated somehow update Firefox 29. The good side of things, I now have a good reason to go back and review some of the browsers that I cut back in the day when I decided to go with Firefox.

As far as I know, the Restorer of classic theme Add on is the only way to move the button reload outside the address bar.

    1. Classic restaurateur theme installation and restart Firefox when prompted.
    2. Open the modules (Ctrl + Shift + A Manager; Mac: Command + shift + A), then the Extensions category.
    3. Beside the classical restaurant theme, click on the Options button.
    4. On the main tab, make sure that 'Mobile back-forward button' and 'hide urlbars stop & reload buttons' is checked. You can also check "combine stop & reload buttons. Close the options window when finished.
    5. Right-click on a zone empty of the tab bar and select Customize.
    6. Do slide forward/backward buttons, Stop and reload on the navigation toolbar.
    7. Click the Customize the output at the bottom right button when finished.

That being said, I must point out that you can reload pages in other ways.

    • Make a right click No matter what tab and choose reload.
    • Right click on a box empty page and choose reload.
    • Press F5.
    • Press Ctrl + R (Mac: command-R).
  • Place of current residence Apple Watch weather

    Hi all

something is happening with my Apple Watch and weather.

I can't get the weather from the current location on my watch. current place of residence is enabled on my iPhone and I can't see properly on the native phone application.

However, I can't even on the watch. The current location is also enabled on the weather app of the watch, but I see only the predefined locations.

I read a bit here and I have tried all the solutions posted as to restart the phone, delete predefined places, etc. but nothing seems to work.

    any idea?

    Hello

    The following steps may help:

    • On your iPhone, go to: settings > privacy > location Services:
      • Ensure that the location service is enabled.
      • Sure Apple Watch is face value while it helps.
      • Check the weather is set to always.
    • On your iPhone, go to: settings > general > background App update:
      • Check that the bottom App Refresh is enabled.
      • It can also help to activate the setting for the weather.

  • Date and time current field incorrect when in the browser

When displaying a PDF file in a browser, tried Chrome and Firefox, the time and the date that is entered in the field time now seems to be the last date the form has been saved. But when the form is downloaded, the date and time are entered correctly. I tried clearing history & cache, but still not the wrong time.

Firefox and Chrome have built-in PDF viewers. Does not support the JavaScript that uses the form for auto-ensemble the time, but because of Reader/Acrobat, this is why it does not work when download you and open it in Reader/Acrobat.

  • Why do I get an incorrect WEP key during the installation of my printer?

    Product - specific document

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00772798

    I worked for HP.

This work also (well) with the J6480 printer.  I was using a Linksys router Wireless 'G' which creates 4 WEP keys, allowing you to choose which use.  I sent #2 key and it would not accept.  The only way I could make it work was to disable wireless security, is not my idea of a good option.  After numerious emails and 1 appeal to support with no ideas that I decided to seek out here and finally managed to do accept the WEP key.  I ended up completely uninstall/reinstall to get everything to work 100%, but now it works like a charm.  For those of you with a similar problem, when using a router that generates more than 1 WEP key, try using (sending) key #1

HP Note: your support by e-mail/voice should be as good as your online forum support

    Thanks to DaniW-now I'm a happy camper

  • Why is the current version of Firefox on my laptop 6.0 and my office worm. 3.6.20?

    Not a problem, just curious.

No he is not separated for laptops and desktop computers.

Just Mozilla has not yet turned on 3.6 to 6.0 update notifications. I don't even get this possibility today (and for the last few days) when I manually "Check for Updates" on 3.6.18 / 20 in the Help menu. It is difficult to update everyone using all versions of Firefox in a single day or even over several days, there is only so much available bandwidth.

  • Why ApplicationMgr.ExecutionClosed event returns incorrect object

Work with the operator of Labview interface.

I'm trying to get the event during the sequence file is closed.

I created two reminders to the ApplicationMgr.ExecutionClosed and ApplicationMgr.SequenceFileClosing events.

According to aid TS first callback returns execution and second reminder returns SequenceFiile.

Two reminders are created automatically Labview and have only the argument of the API to pass to the event handler.

The two event handlers in Labview, I use the nodes property to get the IDS of the objects (execution and file)...

The two nodes of property give errors #1 with reason: property node has wrong argument 1 (reference object as I undertand).

When I use varianr conversion I discovered non-empty reference in the event parameter.

It's very like as return value EntryPoint.Run method for execution and OpenSequenceFile for ApplicationMgr.

    What can be wrong?

Something happened to the memory or this behavior is the result of my bad actions?

    Hello, Taylor

    Thanks for the reply.

Today, I have solved this problem.

The reason was lack of understanding event management in Labview.

I have passed reference sequence VI of the LV event handler callback file and then tried to recover file ID loop event LV and close the reference.

    In this way was wrong

    File reference here is bad.

After that I changed to get the ID of file directly in the VI recall I have normal work.

  • Why my sensitive layouts change incorrectly?

    Screenshot (216).pngScreenshot (215).png

I'm trying to create a sensitive site. Screenshot on the left shows the layout for 600 breakpoint. Except for the two main bands of color have been marked as stretch to the width of the browser and all elements were pinned as centre and marked 'no '.

Before moving to 960 point break, the elements have been re-arranged pin and registered under the previous name. But on his return to the point of breaking 600 items were as shown on the right.

To my knowledge of the process and of what I observed in the excellent tutorial of the Mz Beaumont that the elements are fixed in their position at the 1200 breakpoint then the scrubber is to the left and elements re - arrange for this point of view screen...

I followed this process, but it doesn't seem to be a step that sets the particular provision at a moment of rupture.  Any ideas please.

I am also attaching the views of breakpoint 960 and 1200.Screenshot (213).pngScreenshot (219).png

    Hi William,.

After investigating your .muse file, I found that you've designed your introduction to phone on the page master of itself, but your site isn't a unique layout, you should design the presentation of the phone in the menu instead of master pages, please try it and let me know if it works for you.

  • Why PDF with transparency displayed incorrectly?

    Hello world

I used this script ( http://www.adobe.com/devnet/digitalpublishingsuite/articles/dps-pdf-to-indesign.html ) to create a magazine based on a PDF file, but I have a big problem.

PDF imported with transparent elements are not properly displayed, but only in a vertical position as you can see in the pictures on the menu and horizontal display correctly.
I don't have control of PDF files because the Publisher send it already ready.

I used the v.22 for this publication because I can't update the application now, but I installed the latest tools DPS.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I know this is an old thread, but I want to answer because it'll be useful for someone looking for answers as if I was today ;-)

This is an expected behavior for a PDF article. Articles only PDF supports transparency opacity effect and multiply, blend modes are not supported. However, the content even if it is downloaded as a PNG/JPEG article should work correctly.

It is also documented in best practices presented here Digital Publishing Suite help | Best practices to create overlays for
