Why is my illustrator file exported pixelated?

Hi all

I created a logo in illustrator, but every time that I exported the image or images and logos of text they appeared pixelated. I also tried the options "save for web" and nothing seems to have worked. Is there something that will help with this problem?

Unlike the vector illustrations, pixel still images have a resolution fixed and can not be resized or zoomed without loss of quality. It's just the nature of the thing. Here you have a fundamental misunderstanding. Aside from that, people usually make a mess in designing is not their spec files, in this case in particular which means using the correct DPI settings. A document 300 DPI will be of course different when resampled to 72 DPI to save for Web. Check these things and then act accordingly.

  • Why is my Illustrator file so big, the EPS file is only bound?

    I have a file in Illustrator CS4. I have a file EPS 20 MB that I placed a link in it. When I go to save it, the Illustrator file is 100 MB!

    Why is this happening? Am not checking the correct settings when you save the Illustrator file?

    Please notify. Thank you!

    Please try to uncheck "Create a PDF Compatible file" when you save the Illustrator file.

    If you select this check box (the default is selected), Illustrator saves PDF data with embedded EPS data.

    Maybe your linked EPS data is compressed, and then 20 MB on the desktop, but not compressed in PDF or less compress does cause huge size.

  • Why anti-aliasing Illustrator CC exported files in Photoshop, even when turned off anti-aliasing?

    Hi all

    I just changed to CC of CS5. My Illustration workflow involves export from Illustrator to Photoshop. I disable anti-aliasing in the export options in Photoshop to make net angles. For example,.25 black line exports ch as a wide black line of a pixel.

    When exporting CC of Illustrator, I select 'none' to the anti-aliasing when exporting, but art is anti-aliasing in Photoshop. For example, exports of line noire.25 to PS as a line blurred grayscale.

  • Export of several paths from photoshop to several illustrator files

    Hello

    I have a task that I often repeat, and I know that there should be a way to write a script for the same photoshop thing. But my level of technology in scripts is zero and I was hoping that someone could help me?

    Background: I am an artist and convert image Posterization files paths to feed a laser CNC cutter. The image is broken down into separate layers (which are glued on paper), and each layer is converted to describe paths (which needs to be cut by the machine). for each image that I do there are about 3-8 paths that I create, each the name of a particular name. Then I manually export each path one to an illustrator file (export > traces to Illustrator), the files are named with a prefix_ < the path name >.

    Sometimes one large image is made upwards of 25 small sections (each section is a separate photoshop file) each with 3-8 paths and it's all of them adds up to a lot of manual work each time.

    is it possible to write a script that will export each individual path from phtoshop file to an illustrator file separated with the name prefix_ < path name > in a given directory (or on the desktop if that is too complicated a foler)?

    I searched the web but have not found a result that meets this particular need. And as I mentioned my knowledge scripts is not good enough to create/change myself.

    Thanks in advance...

    Avinash,

    I think Photoshop is not the best tool for your job. I would use Adobe Illustrator,

    Vectorization or Trace of Image (since CS6).

    The vectorization of a raster image is entirely under control many parameters. Export to EPS

    MO = moveto

    CV = curveto (Bezier curve)

    CP = closepath

    CMYK color =

    EF = eofill (fill mode)

    Occasionally, for straight lines:

    Li = lineto

    Ignoring the color and fill mode, it should be 'simple' extract the Bézier path information.

    Why is it necessary to separate all these paths in single files?

    Laser cutting can be controlled for all the work in a stream, because button

    Of course I am lack of knowledge of your actual task. Please consider my contribution

  • drawing in flash and export Illustrator files

    I use to be able to draw or modify drawings in Flash and then export them to a postscript or swf file so that I could keep changing them in Illustrator. These characteristics seem to miss and I don't understand why. Surely, these are the characteristics that have been used by other users. So the function of printing image went Flash and that's where I could contain my vector drawing as postscript or PDF, and now I can't do more than anything. In Illustrator, I use to be able to open the .swf files and I can't do that. Is there a go-around? Why take such a good thing away which is so useful to artists and designers?

    Hi all

    Flash Pro CC 2014 (v14.0.0.110) is now available for download via the Web App Cloud and Adobe Creative site.

    We have added the function Export SVG to Flash Pro with this new version. You will now be able to export the contents of the vector of the image selected as an SVG image, which can be opened directly in a browser and even imported into Adobe Illustrator.

    Option to Export SVG are accessed through the parameters of publication as well as via the Menu file > export > export Image option.

    Alongside this, we have added several new features in this release. The complete list is available on these links:

  • Export of layers in Illustrator files

    Hello

    It seems that there are some people who want to do what I do. I have a graphic made up of different elements in CS4. I have distributed to each of these elements to separate the layers by layers / release to layers (sequence). For an opinion on what I'm trying to do, I have 136 layers and I don't want to save each of them individually by hand!

    I would now like to each of these layers that save Illustrator files.

    There are two factors that I need to consider:

    1. As these individual files will be drawn to Apple Motion 5 comes alive, it is important that the script or plugin to save the files retains the positioning of the element compared to the artboard.
    2. Is it is not possible to maintain the positioning of the element compared to the artboard, I have placed 2, 1 pixel by 1 pixel "dots" in the corners opposite the artboard on a locked, individual layer. The script or the plugin could alternatively export every element layer in a new file, including these two points in each file to give movement to work with limitations.

    I met many plugins that save as png or PDF layers, but what is important, I need to keep the images as vectors. I also need to keep the elements positioned in the artboard.

    I also met two scripts here: http://forums.Adobe.com/message/2759051 , but the first script seems unnecessary (in my case, it saves 136 files with all items) and the second script gives me an error of syntax for the line " " " -get a list of the files in the files to be processed in the sourceFolder".

    Any advice you could please lend would be most appreciated.

    Thank you very much.

  • File > export selection lacks Illustrator CC output 2015.1.0

    I'm trying to figure out how to export my selection as a SVG in an Illustrator file. I found this tutorial Adobe where it clearly shows export selection available as an option in the file menu of a Mac. I'm on a PC and it seems to be missing. Would they really just leave that on a PC? Here's a screenshot of my file menu.

    It is somewhere in another menu, or is there something wrong with my install? Anyone else using this version on a PC have this option available? I'm on Windows 7 Enterprise.

  • HDPI - too many files exported to the site, why?

    Hello my question is as follows,

    I tried several scenarios and know this:

    If the HDPI option is disabled:

    Action: When I add an image file to a blank page duplicate it resize several times at different sizes add filters and movement to some of them

    Result: a image file on the exported site

    for example: 1 image on the page for 3 images resized duplicate = html export contain 1 original file

    If HDPI is enabled:

    Action (ditto) when I add an image to a duplicate of the white page file it resizes several times at different sizes add Internet and motionto few of them

    Result: A lot of files, export create file for each duplicate and than double image for the _x2 files

    for example: 1 image on the page for 3 images resized duplicate = html export contains 6 files (3 for + 3 Hdpi image versions)

    =====================================

    Why this is happening?

    My logic and knowledge, there should be 2 files on the HDPI version that each act as the original image depends on the screen and use it for any duplicates on the page of the site

  • Particular Illustrator file links all appear as the large pixels in Indesign? (broken links)

    Hello

    I ran into one of those questions where I don't know what to even Google to try to resolve this problem. I made an illustrator file that all of a sudden connect correctly in InDesign, there a lot of art cards in there (21) that the link to the document number and this strange group of pixels now appears in all of them, put an end to any progress.

    Thanks in advance.

    Where the Option 'Create a compatible PDF file' when export us an Illustrator file to PDF? Hernani thanks

    hernanif,

    The option is only save you as or save a copy in the format I.

    Its purpose is to create a file PDF file inside HAVE.

    If you save as PDF, you have the additional option preserve Illustratot editing capabilities, which creates a file HAVE in the PDF file.

    Whatever it is, you get a file in both formats, with some differences.

  • CS6 Illustrator artboard export 1 pixel off size

    V16.2.0 64 bit, windows 8, creative cloud, all installed updates

    OK... not a beginner as I've used Illustrator since ver1. Also been beta tester software for various software companies, so good to find bugs, but it is bugging me ... I did some research and found several similar positions, but none has a solid solution, and although my test is not always reproducible.

    My test thru seems the only way work plans to export correctly when you create a new document... These workplans always export correctly.

    Sometimes when you click work plan tool and a plan of work manually it works sometimes properly, but not always.

    When you resize the toolbar of transformation or the transformation dialog box, it will always export a bad size... sometimes only in one dimension size and not both, sometimes in both

    Ive tried all the different Councils of people have mentioned in other posts, erased prefs, tried with & without constrain proportions, align the pixels

    Workplans set purge 0. & make deals with Board graph export by 100 on a daily use... so this is a new problem of relativaly

    'Save for web' export correctly to the size of the artboard, but I'm dealing with several plans and work with the command export with 'use of work plans.

    So to test I resized all work plans down by 1 pixel and then exported, and it has exported the size I resized to... so thought to resize it to the size I needed, and the problem came back... very strange bug and not anything I try... well concorde also consistently a thorn in my side because I need export pixel perfect.

    I thought about it. Took me over an hour, but I got there in the end.

    Click on you're your work plan tool in Illustrator (shift + o) then it allows to select a jury of art. At the top of your screen should be of four input boxes (X, Y, W and H). They must be whole numbers, so if you have moved your boards of art around them are probably sitting at random values such as X = 30.23 and Y = 55,82. Choose the numbers after the decimal, and remove them.

    If for some strange reason, your H and W are also defined to fractions, you must change these integers as well.

  • Why my Illustrator file linked with an opacity mask to my Indesign file a washed out appearance?

    I have an indesign this work of Illustrator related uses of the file. The illustrator files contain opacity masks, and when I import into my layout indesign they give the bottom of the pages a washed out appearance. I noticed that the page in my project Indesign who doesn't have opacity masks linked seems fine.

    So, I know that the opacity mask is performing the indesign document somehow but I don't know how to solve the problem. I tried merging the texture in the opacity mask, flattening of the illustration illustrator, paste the illustrator shape directly on the page, save the work as a PNG; but nothing seems to work.

    Here is a picture of the page with the related work.
