Why is my Internet connection disonnecting?
There are two sites users on my Windows 7, 64-bit base. I connect to Internet, either, don't then my partner passes next to her and uses the Internet, just like her. When it is finished, I will return to my side and the server is disconnected. This happens frequently. It does NOT occur as it passes beside her, my initial connection
For my money, Windows 7 has a lot of quirks that have not been followed by still.
In addition, Windows 7 does not accept several of my software CDs, which ran beautifully on my old Windows XP. Civilization IIis a good example. Why Microsoft would improve a system that rejects as many software products that worked perfectly before? Who is the brain behind this children... uh... called "improvement"?
Is full of frustration!

Two laptops in my house share a belkin wireless router. Every 10 minutes, when the two laptops are connected to the internet, one or the other seems to push the other off the connection. Then speed either decreases or the connection is completely lost. This occurs when one of the laptops is using Skype or download, but also just when both are normally surf as well. I've never known a wireless router not being able to manage two laptops before. Any ideas, anyone please? The two laptops running Windows 7 if it helps?

No internet connection but the status is "connected" - Qosmio G30-163
Why can't internet connection through some wireless networks, and never through the connection to the local network, even if the State of the connection is "connected"?
I have a Toshiba Qosmio G30-163
In the Manager of peripheral devices, network cards, there are two yellow mark points (next to "Other devices" and "Multimedia video controller")
I made sure "Obtain IP address automatically" is a selection and "Obtain DNS address automatically" is selected as well.
the IP address of my computer is 169.254.xxx, x, and I read somewhere that this indicates that there is no connection to a DHCP server and probably no connection at all. I was not able to renew the IP address.
To repair internet connection doesn't work. I get the response "Windows could not finish repairing the problem because it is impossible to perform the following action: renewing your IP address." "For assistance, contact the personal who manages your network.
Thank you
Anne
Try turning off the Windows Firewall. Or if you have installed a lot of 'Internet Security', reconfigure or disable the firewall.
Update the BIOS and make sure have the latest network drivers and wireless installed.
Try another browser such as Firefox or Google Chrome and verify that the Proxy settings are correct (if you are behind a proxy).
Go to a command prompt and type: IPCONFIG/all
If you see a gateway, you must be connected to the Internet. -
Internet connection is slow or simply cut
Original title: connection problems
Hi, I had problems with my internet connection, it will be slow or it just stops and I can't go back with duty to restart the computer.
I don't think it's my router because all other devices work in the router with no problems, and I have my computer away from the router, but the other computer works fine here.
I'm really tired almost everything. I even deleted all of my computer. I would be completely restored my computer to factory but I don't have the disk to do so.
So basically my question is what do I do?
Hi MarCheri,
· What version of the operating system is installed on the computer?
· Did you do changes on the computer before the show?
· You get the error message?
Follow these methods.
Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software .
Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
Method 2: Follow these steps:
Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem persists.
Step 2: If the problem does not persist in safe mode with networking, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow step 7 the link to start the computer to a Normal startupmode.
Method 3: Follow the steps in the article.

If you are experiencing network connectivity problems in Internet Explorer, the first thing to do is to make sure that all cables are connected. Then open Network Diagnostics by right-clicking the network icon in the notification area, and then click diagnose and repair (if you use Windows Vista) or solve problems (if you use Windows 7).

Slow internet connection in Windows 7
Original title: Twelvebore1
Internet problems.
Vpcl12M1E Sony PC running Windows 7.
It functions fine but Internet at a snails pace. Many worked for five years and then the trouble started recently.
Reset the modem and ran Norton and Malwarebytes, no problem. An iPhone and two iPads can connect to between 19 and 20 Mbs to the same wireless network, the PC can barely do 1Mbs. takes about 30/40 seconds to load a page from Google.
In desperation I used the recovery disc to clean the disk and start over. Despite this I still have the same problem. It makes no difference between cable and wireless - pace of snails still speed
Could still be a virus?
My network card may be faulty?
