  When I started using the newest Firefox browser with my HP desktop computer, with Windows 8.1, I'd get a popup asking if I wanted the name of the Web site and the password to be saved. • Why my screen saver settings are grayed out

  On one user on my PC, I am unable to change the screen saver activation time of 10 minutes.  The box 'on CV.... ' is also unavailable.  Under XP it was only grayed out when the screen saver says 'None '. As soon as you have selected something, then you can change the values.  It's extremely frustrating because I can't make presentations without constantly moving the mouse back to does not not the system to go to sleep.  I went through all my programs and configurations of economy of energy but not available.  I log on a domain server, but it doesn't seem to be a problem with one of the other profiles that I use on the same computer.  I am currently trying to install a bunch of updates and see if it will work, but I don't think it will do as much as they seem to be unrelated with.

  In fact, I got my answer.  It comes from our domain server settings... arrrrrrgh.  but thank you.

  When I go to Office Admin I can enter the new reason ok codes, but the checkbox to activate the reason codes is grayed out and cannot be verified.

  Just say that if you need more information.

  It could be because you don't have enough RAM for it. You want 2-4 GB of RAM by heart of your processor for the use of multiple cores. And you must leave 2 GB or so free for the operating system and other computer tasks.

• 'KEY' box grayed out

  I did it with my ODI mappings.
  By default in this mapping, ODI made 'The header ID' column as the primary KEY.
  
  However, the combination of the column 'Header ID' and 'NUMBER of LINE' is a KEY.
  
  Can't activate the checkbox as a KEY for "LINE NUMBER" as well.
  ODI has grayed out in this field. Infact, for all other columns.
  
  For this reason, the query that generates the ODI is not giving the unique records and therefore do not.
  
  Any work around that? or how to activate the KEY field?

  When you click on your name of target data store, a 'update key' is specified?
  If so, it is normal that the key field is grey. "Update key", select not "defined". Then you will be able to activate the key field.

  You can also change the primary key in your data store, in the view of the model.

• Why run this program as administrator gray out on properties Compatibility tab?

  If I right click, properties, compatibility, run it as admin is now gray.

  I am the only account here, I'm logged on as administrator, I can right click and run as administrator, but not set the compatibility properties checkbox.

  With UAC, there is no need to raise/permission control to a Director more.  Therefore, I think that's why options will be extinguished with UAC as well.  Try it and let us know if it work.

• Why apply the layer mask is grayed out?

  From time to time 'apply the layer mask' is not available.

  What I checked myself:

  -Photoshop is not in master view (abbreviation Q).

  -J' have reset all warning dialog boxes (since it is a way to get a mask by dragging it to the trash).

  Can't get to work!

  I found myself - the layer was a dynamic object. Perhaps I should suggest Adobe to let Photoshop ask pixelation during application, instead of just greyin'out.

• Why are the pictures edition tools grayed out on a photo?

  I use Photos to edit a series of photos from my iPhone on my Macbook Pro (OS 10.11.6) 6s and one photo has all the editing in gray with the exception of Extensions.  Pictures before and after have full editing feature.

  Your storage array will need support for the Fast file primitive Clone, which is exclusively NAS, so if you have based on blocks of storage you can not use this feature.

  I'm learning how to use Speedgrade, using the direct link to send my premiere pro project to speed grade.  I also works through a series of tutorials and up to a point where it is said about adding a ranking clip or layer of ranking.  Two of these buttons are grey for me.  Can someone tell me why?

  alfend is correct... meeting of direct connection ('Speedgrade Direct"), the timeline is"locked"while Speedgrade works, so you can not add layers or make other changes to the timeline itself. And as alfend says, use "adjustment layers" placed in PrPro afore leaving for layers extra ranking in the Official Journal. It is a procedure of protection for internal coding situations. SG change the timeline would mean doing a heck of a lot more code & protocols internal & such, as explained here and on the Adobe blogs, when they started the process.

  Yet, it is a fairly easy process reduced to PrPro, add a layer of adj. & return to the Sg.

  I go away & back several times... most of the time I work, and it takes a few seconds.

  the problem was that I was working with it in CMYK mode. It only works in RGB!
