Why is my video clip considered as audio only?

I have a video clip recorded in camstudio using camstudio lossless codec version 1.5. When I import into first pro, only the audio track is there. I guess that's because the Prime Minister does not know how to decode the video. How will I be able to cope with the video? and how do I add the correct codec (I have the dll)?

TjPjMusic wrote:

No there is no way to add new codecs to the Prime Minister?

If you use the software codec is already on your machine, but the first does not recognize.

If I'm not mistaken you can assign capture/export Lagarith codec in Camstudio.

First has no problem with Lagarith.

If you want to continue to use the file, you just made so you must first convert them.

  • My saved Windows Movie Maker Project open with video clips in the Audio editing panel and vice versa (NOT as it was created). Can I move them back where they belong?

After days of the creation of a filmmaker 'project' I 'saved project' one last time, then reopen and publish a movie.  All my video Clips (phtotos) now appear in the Audio editing / music along the bottom with only a video clip standing in line of the video of this 'slide show' of 90 minutes.  Is it possible to move these clips to which they belong without having to recreate the whole project?

What happens if you try to read the project in Movie Maker?

  • Need help to synchronize video clips and main audio

I have 20 videos (symbols of the library) from about 400-800 views each. None has its own audio. I want to play in sequence on the main timeline, synchronized to an audio clip that runs along the timeline. The problem is that I can not understand how to stop the timeline to allow the clips to play uninterrupted audio.

At the present time, I have clips play in sequence, I like: each clip on the timeline has a label and occupies 10 images, just so that I can read the labels. The last frame of each clip on the main timeline, I have a stop() on an Actions layer command. The last frame of each MC, I have a command that looks like _root.gotoAndPlay ("nextLabelName").

The problem is the audio on the main timeline plays only for these 10 images, then stops to let each MC to play, which is exactly what I told it to do. How can I get audio from the main to continue scenario to play and keep that it synced to the sequence of MCs? Perhaps, I go about it the wrong way.

OK, I think I've answered my own question. After some more research in some newsgroups, I found a useful code. Here's what I did, in case someone else has this problem:

    (1) kept just as it was, but removed the audio clip on the main timeline.
    (2) in the library, I went in the binding of the audio settings and he gave a C:\myaudio identifier.
    (3) created a new MC with 1 single framework, in which I inserted this code:
    SND = new Sound (this);
    snd.attachSound ("C:\myaudio");
    SND. Start();
    (4) in the main timeline, I inserted a keyframe, where I wanted the audio to start and drag the new MC to the editing table, off the stage.

Now the clips play in sequence, the audio plays all the way through, and everything is synchronized. You would think there would be a simpler way to do it... but you would be wrong.

  • Import mov files in PP - video won't load, audio only

    Hi friends

I have .mov files exported from FCPX. The codec is dvh5. When I import to the first, the video will not show or listen to samples. Audio is fine. I tried Adobe Media Encoder, but same problem there - no video preview, no video export. Also, the same files play on QuickTime. I'm on Mac.

    Probably the codecs.

The MPEG2.mpeg is interesting. I get playback with Windows Media Player but not with QuickTime. What is the surprising is playback with Windows Media Player. Speculate the I must have picked up somewhere - codec Windows Media Center?

If your computer is 8.1 64-bit Windows, expected that you would have problems to read MPEG2.mpg in Windows Media Player. Isn't a shortcoming of Microsoft, Adobe, and is widely recognized. And the VLC Player is often recommended as a substitute player in this forum for MPEG2.mpg in 64-bit Windows 8.1.

  • Audio only will import when you import a video clip

When I import a video clip (any format) audio is imported.  However, the forecast of nail is still viable in the project window and I can even scrub through the video in the project window.  I was able to import correctly the other day and I don't think I changed anything.  I also tried some old clips I imported on other projects and I still have the same question.

  • Audio does not play not video clip

    Hi all

New on first Pro CC but experienced engineer audio production (Logic Pro 8 - X).

I'm having a problem where I can't hear audio of any video clips (on the V1) when playing the project in the timeline panel, but I can hear the audio when I preview the video as source in the project area (by double clicking on it in a window at the top left in the editing workspace). I can't find any reference to the audio of the video clip in the Audio Mixer Panel, except when I use the mixer Audio Clip when the image previewed as a source.

Can anyone help? I have progressed in fact good enough to restore my first project, but this is really frustrating and I can't understand it. Have you tried the search and I can't find any mention of the same show. I hope I am using correct terminology.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Prime Minister - imported videos show slow images, audio plays perfect

    Hello!

I recently stumbled on this after a reinstallation of my system. I have Pro CS4 first (with the latest updates, tried without updates as well) and the 64 bit version of Windows 7 (completely up to date).

    Here's the deal:

After I created a new project, I leave everything intact, select only 1080 resolution NTSC (or PAL). I have imported video clips (has each audio and video clip), I want to work with. This import is fast and not mistakes... but when I really want to work with clips (for example: double click to start at the edge he or dragging to the timeline) what is happening:

Audio play perfectly... but the video is like 1 images / 60 seconds or more. While the audio is just fine video plays really slow almost like a support of still images. And so, the length of a video on the timeline is correct the audio, but I get not even 4-5 frames of fotage video before the end of the clip. To sum up: video and audio is really out of step, but in a weird twisted way. Audio OK, increased or reduced speed is detectable, but the video (same btw) is not like that. He shows me some pictures before the time of the end of the clip.

Is this a problem with the import?
    If yes how to correct?
What kind of question is this?
    How to fix?

    Any ideas?

    My system features:

    Intel E8600 (3, 16GHz)
    8 GB RAM DDR3

    Gigabyte EX48T-DQ6 motherboard
His Ati Radeon HD 4870 x 2 Vcard with 2 GB memory GDDR5
    Sound Blaster Xi-fi
Optional integrated sound card (it doesn't help either)
    Windows 7 Ultimate 64 - bit version

All my drivers are up to date, windows is up-to-date adope first pro cs4 is ORIGINAL! and up to date
Disk Fragmentation per week, using Eset Smart Security 4 (so far) and cleaning registry windows every week.

First of all uninstall each codec pack, you have already installed, unless you just reformat your hard drive, then reinstall Windows and programs.

Then, convert it any codec's in there (Divx, XVid or other) AVI DV Ms type2. Use Google to find a suitable converter. Accept the quality hit you will suffer, but it is inherent in attempting to change broadcast formats, which were used exclusively to watch, is not editing.

  • C100 /. Import MTS in sequence, Audio only problem

    Good evening!

I have encountered this problem several times, and have absolutely no idea how to solve this problem! I know what I did wrong and is to simply copy the video files and not the whole AVCHD file structure on my memory card.

    Anyway, here's the question:

    • I can import all. MTS in Premiere Pro files
    • I can play together. The MTS in Premiere Pro files in the Source - Source poster audio & video monitor monitor correct
    • I can create a new sequence with a video file by dragging the video file in the project window to the icon "create a new", next to the folder and the Recycle Bin icon in the project window. The new sequence shows the video clip with correct audio & video in the timeline.
      • When I go to select another element of the project window and drag it to the same timeline, I get only the audio track in the timeline panel. There is no video track.

The only work around I have found was to create a new sequence, whenever I want to use a specific clip, then in the new chronology of the sequence, select the item, make a right click, select copy, and then go on my calendar of 'main' sequence and paste the clip in the timeline. It is very annoying and a lot of your time.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Note: To add, I have recently switch from a drive to an SSD. Now, I have a 1 TB SSD in my PC and have had this problem on the two old my HDD and on my new install SSD.

Note: To clarify, the video IMPORT in first very well. When I put the videos on a timeline, only an audio track is going in the timeline. See the image below.

    b6fdb2ba928947eab55f2608e4922881.png

For those who have this problem, I found the solution. It's a completely stupid mistake, but all you have to do is click on the gray "V1", next to the left until now controls visibility on the first video track of the timeline. If you look at the screenshot in the original post, there are two blue icons of A1. There is only one blue icon of V1, and you have to make two of them blue simply by clicking on the gray.

  • Fusion audio and video clip

Will be the first evidence of fusion audio and video clips so that I can then change them as a clip?

    richardb

So that we keep in sync, I just wanted to clarify something... it is, your question is not out of sync audio before or after export. Ask not how to synchronize audio in Premiere Elements. Using the tools of Premiere Elements, you have been able to successfully replace the sound of the iPad with another audio source and synchronize the new audio source to component video without much trouble with Premiere Elements. I think that is correct based on what you wrote

I found that I can synchronize the two audios and then delete one of the iPad and then link other audio and video. It seems that I can then edit the video and keep the linked video and audio.

What did you use as your tools of Premiere Elements for the audio synchronization - Alt and arrow key (left or right) faucet to shift the audio 1 frame left or right or the SHIFT + ALT and arrow (left or right) tap to push 5 audio images left or right? These are details of Windows... for your Mac, did you use Option Alt and shift + Option for Shift + Alt? I'm strictly a Windows of the elements user.

I hope that your future posts will clarify the following to make sure that we are clear about what your goals and make sure you have the information you need to work on your project.

Is there a reason why you couldn't do all in a project and an export - create your Timeline with iPad video and audio special for it but also make additions to the project timeline prior to export of this timeline to a final product of Premiere Elements?

If everything goes well and there is no problem that you have not mentioned, I would try to avoid re-encoding involved in the export and import of export in another project where the only issue is another exporting.

    Please consider.

Looking forward to hear your progress as your schedule allows.

  • Video clips get pushed by Audio Clips

When I add an audio clip on my CC calendar it always pushes my videos down.  Why is this happening?  It happens even when I lock my video clips.  I'm sure it's something simple, but I can't understand it.  Thank you.

    All fees. No problem

How are lengthen you the audio?

I guess you drag the end of the tool... but with what tool (edit mode)?

I suspect that you are waving edition.  Try to Drag control with only audio selected.

This action CTRL modifier depends somewhat on one of your settings preferences (something like modifier With or without modifier)

  • Export the clip with no video, audio only and keep the timecode

I have transcribed for a documentary film clips. There are many of them and my transcribers using a program that can use the timecode of audio and video files.

We are Dropboxing so I want them to be just audio files, but I need the timecode to stay on the clips when I export the audio.

So far he strips and all I get is life.

The original videos are in. MTS format. They import in first CC very well, but when I export the audio the initial timecode disappeared.

The other option would be to compress the video and the watermark, but the time code disappears when I do that too.

I think that I get it.

You want just the files as small as possible. Right? That's why you just want audio?

Well, rather than do without the video completely, just to reduce the flow of something terribly weak, where the video is barely able to be seen. You want to export to a format that the program can handle, like Quicktime. But where I could export to 25 Mb/s, you might be able to export 1 Mb/s. The video will look terrible. Well, so what? Who cares? Right?

    But there the timecode.

When their web page says they can accept different audio formats, I don't think they hear audio by itself. They mean that the audio in the video stream may be audio AIFF, WAV, AAC and MP3.

  • Audio separate from a video clip to use separately

(Via a small list of things I like to do in iMovie HD...) The best I get is that it is not possible within the FCE, you have to do it somewhere else (for example, MPEG Streamclip).

    Y/N?

    TIA

    1. Select (highlight) the clip on the Timeline.

    2. press on control L (lowercase L) to unlock the audio from the video.

3 remove the video if it is not needed and use the audio where you want.
