• Is the another great category why my computer is slow?

  I get a lot of beach and the General slow balls spinning this month.

  One thing I checked last week my storage status. 237 free GB to 999 GB and 618 for which is the category "other"!  I hate this wave "other" category. Here is a screenshot.

  

  You can see that I have barely keep anything on my internal drive. I don't have a lot of applications. The ones I use regularly is Mail, Safari, Lightroom and Photoshop.

  A few years ago I learned about a procedure in disk utility to completely erase the disk space, but when I went to do, I couldn't find more, as El Capitan got rid of him. Is there something similar I can do?

  We have a situation where one of the insert is running slow and fast QA in PROD. Both are the same versions of database - Oracle 10.2.0.4 on HP Unix 11.31. To avoid the cause of databases running on another server, we copied from our Production database to the same server where the QA database is running and began with init.ora PROD that has 7 GB 6 GB SGA_TARGET and SGA_MAX_SIZE. For the QA database, SGA_MAX_SIZE is 700 MB and SGA_TARGET is 600 MB. Both are running on the same server, and with the same data. We have refreshed QA with data from PROD. If we start with PROD init.ora QA database, QA also behaves the same way PROD.

  This problem is only with the specific insert. Here is the result of this specific statement tkprof. Can someone please interpret this for me? I am poor in SQL tuning :-( Why the statement behaves ODD with the size of the SGA PROD? Generally, we would think THAT larger SGA should give better performance.

  When I click on something, Fire Fox just sits there saying "connecting..." Several times I have to click on something repeatedly or exit firefox and restart.

  I use Adblock Plus and Avast AV and Admuncher. I have disabled them all and STILL have problems with the download and connection...

  If I am forced to have to see and watch the endless advertising to be able to use the internet, I will pull the plug on this thing like I did 12 years ago.

  Problem is the Flash updates... they have just sucked. Now everything works as it should.

  If your computer is overheating, it could certainly cause the symptoms you describe. There is no way I can accurately diagnose a problem of overheating or material without be practical with the machine. Many people like SpeedFan temperature of Windows testing program. Some motherboard mftrs. have their own diagnostic utilities. Prime95 is a great stress test.

This new router is now a RT-AC66R. It's actually pretty cool, I can walk like three blocks away and still have the wifi on my phone. My xbox is about ten feet away from him and the computer is about fifteen feet away. and now my new problem is that I can run is no longer an Ethernet cable to the computer to share internet. because the computer sees the xbox but xbox does not see the pc. or rather the xbox has failed the test of pc. and also, I can share is no longer my internet with another pc. I changed the map from one pc to the other wireless and connect the pc with the wireless card without problem. and this is supposed to have an incorrect ip address. and if you return it the problem are the same now that with the wireless card works, but cannot share internet with each other. and before there was no problem of internet sharing. but I could see the other pc also not one way or another. I solved this problem and now the PC can not only see each other they can copy cut and delete files on the other pc and the media. but it's when I can share is more of the internet with the xbox. and now the xbox can not see ether pc. and I thought that was the problem, so I disabled the sharing and then it still doesn't work. I have even made the system restore and that did nothing. I have been reading forums for two days now and no help no one has the same problem as me. a pc is Windows 7 Professional and the other is running Vista Edition family Basic. Please someone anyone help me im going nuts. I'm about to get a switch, so I don't have to keep switching the ethernet cord so I can have only two things in line at a time. I have also in the future will get a long enough cord to plug the switch directly to the router. but don't have the money to do it right now. I live in a motel and already got in trouble for my landlord to reset the old default router so I could do better for my system. then I told her that it was dropping packets. then he replaced. and set up a cage to stop me reset it. but all I have to do is with my finger tilt it upward and I access to the reset button. I have to pay for the internet service and am really frustrated because I tell him something is wrong, but he thinks that his fine because he bought a new router. But if my xbox is still having the same problem do you think it might be the cable from router to the modem Ethernet. but the new router does not drop to all packages and it works beautifully when he wants to.   I have trouble getting my computer to share its internet connection with another computer and an xbox. I had their work and now the xxbox. • Benefits of having two disk partitions; an a small boot with Windows 8, and drive the rest?

  Just got a new computer Asus Cm6870 with Windows 8 and a 2 TB hard drive.

  
  Can anyone think why the manufacturer who has installed Windows 8 created a c: 150 GB (which is half full) and a 1.7 to d: (remains)?  Ease of recovery?  Backup?
  
  I would have preferred a player only, that way my libraries (documents, music, pictures, videos,...), downloads and other data files can be on the same drive.
  
  What would be the downside to having a single disk?
