Why my installed memory (RAM) displays 5,00 GB (1.99 GB usable) when I have the 8 GB? (using the 64 bit OS)

I recently installed 2x2gb and 1x4Go of ddr3 ram, but when I go to 'System' it shows 5 GB (1.99 GB used) I am running 64-bit operating system and processor intel core i7 and I have no idea why this shows usable only 1.99 GB and 5 GB installed when im running a total of 8 GB

In this configuration, you use a 1st question iSeries processor triple channel Intel 1366?

The system will be the clock all the memory the same for the 1600 will be pointing down.

Reported memory does not match the possibility that a DIMM has been missed. The only possibility is that they both bowed (double-sided) and only one bank has been detected.

Check the manual of the motherboard, but you will have to run in Dual channel mode and use 2 and 4 for the 2 GB and 1 for the 4 GB.

Windows detects the memory (RAM) installed 32.0 GB. Then there (16.0 GB usable). OS is windows 7 64 bit. Why are there only 16.0 GB usable? and how to fix this? Thank you

For 64 bit versions of Windows 7, Home Premium can use a maximum of 16 GB, Professional and Ultimate can use up to 192 GB.

If you want to use all 32GB, upgrade to 64-bit professional or ultimate edition.

  • Can I install Windows vista 64-bit for free if I have the 32-bit version preinstalled (OEM)?

I have Windows Vista 32 bit pre-installed on my computer and now I'm ready to add more memory to my machine.

I've already paid for Windows Vista, when I bought my Dell computer a few years (I "réinstallation DVD Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit").

I guess I can legally get and install the 64 bit version of the same operating system (I mean for free, of course)?   I don't want to pay for Windows 7.

Whether or not it is an option would be between you and Dell.  Copies of the retail Windows come with two discs, but OEM copies that are sold with computers come with one or the other, the one that you ordered when you ordered the computer.  If Dell doesn't want to or can't provide you with a copy, then no one else is able to.

  • I have a new Mac and want to install my CS2.  Anyone know how I can do this?  I have the original disks and SN.

I have an old Mac that has my original CS2 on it.  I have a problem because the activation server is stopped for CS2, but I have the disks.  I'm confused about why I can still download the software I bought years ago.  Help, please!

    Carissa

CS2 can not be installed on modern Macs (which use Intel processors) running OS X Yosemite (10.10).

CS2 is a PowerPC application which cannot be run on the old Mac PowerPC.

Intel Macs can run PowerPC applications but only when Rosetta is installed. Apple gave up Rosetta in OS X 10.7.

Rosetta (software) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

To run CS2 on older PowerPC Macs, you must install the version without activation of CS2 and use the new serial number provided by Adobe

I wouldn't worry Adobe Reader. If the help > check updates inside your said XI player you are current, as far as I'm concerned, that's fine. • Why FireFox 13 works differently on my desktop and laptops? On my desk, I have the old menu system that I prefer, but on my laptop, it's the new version.

13 Firefox is the browser by default on my desktop and laptop, however, they have different menu systems. Why?

On my desk, I have the old menu system that I prefer no doubt because everything is in English and easy to see and search. For example, on the menu desktop there a Tools option where I can quickly erase my history and cache.

But on my laptop, it's the new paradigm where several menu commands are hidden and difficult to find, therefore, I do not like this new design. I don't understand why Firefox made this change, when the old system was much better and more effective.

Is there a way I can get the old system menu back on my laptop?

    Thank you

    1. I'm not running XP, I use Win 7 on both systems.

    2. nothing happened when I pressed the ALT key, the menu bar does not show upward and I'm frustrated. However, I kept trying, hold the ALT key and finally he appeared. I then checked the menu bar, and it seems as if it worked.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Can I legally use a win7 32-bit code pro install win7 64-bit, if I have the 64-bit disc?

Recently, I accidentally bought 32-bit win7 online for a new PC I am building. I wanted 64-bit. I have a 64-bit version of anoterh installation disk I did and was wondering if you could just use the 32-bit code to install win7 64-bit instead of having to go through the process of return together and everything. Thanks in advance for answers!

The product key is not specific to architecture (32 or 64-bit), but the spirit of the OEM System Builder licensing is, both 32 and 64 bit DVD are sold separately and include their own product key.

If its OEM license that came with a new computer, you could of course just to borrow a Windows 7 Professional 64 bit DVD retail or OEM system builder DVD and use it with your product key provided with the installation of 32-bit, and nothing would be wrong.

There are two types of OEM suppliers. Royalty OEM vendors can distribute Windows products by using the preinstallation (SLP) product keys so that end users can bypass product activations. All other OEM vendors distribute Windows products by using the standard product keys that require the user to activate Windows products.
