  I had Mac Os 10.8.5. My HP 3070 will scan only parts of a document, about a quarter of the entire page. Why is this? Is a driver update that I should try?

  The default scanning workflow can be configured to analyze 6 x 4 inch photo or auto crop the original. Be sure to change the scanning settings to not crop the area swept as follows:

  1 open the HP utility and select your device.
  2. based on Scan Settings open the "Scan to Computer".
  3. click on the tab "scan tasks.
  4. Select the shortcut Scan allows to analyze, and then click on edit.
  5. in the section of scanning from an HP device, click the blue triangle or button view details to expand the menu.
  6. in the expanded menu now, open the drop down next to cultures in and set as none.
  7. click OK and try to scan.

• Reset only certain sections of a form

  Hello

  I am looking for any help I can get with a form I created.

  The form is a large table, 7 columns and 450 lines of information.  The first two columns in each row must not be changed by a user, but the remaining columns can be modified if necessary.  I'm trying to figure out how I can use a reset button for each line so that when it is selected as the five columns of editable infromation will be reset.

  I don't know if this can be done or not.

  Any help is appreciated.

• Need help to flatten only certain pages of the document

  So here's what I'm doing...

  I have a 3 page pdf form that is configured to run a script javascript when you fill out the form and click a button "submit". The java that I have written is:

  When the user clicks on the button I want the form to flatten pages 1 and 2, but not page 3. I know that the script this.flattenPages (); will flatten all pages, but I thought you could just flatten specific pages. I got to this link file = JS_API_AcroJS.88.466.html & http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9.1/Acrobat9_1_HTMLHelp/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/w whelp.htm? context = Acrobat9_HTMLHelp but I am not sure if that's what I need or not.

  This script is what I want, except that here again, all pages that are flattened.

  According to the documentation, you simply specify the start and end as parameters pages (where the first page is 0)

  for example, in your case flattenPages (0.1)

  Note This will NOT work in Adobe Reader.

  How the computers are connected? If they are connected as a workgroup or domain?

  Method 1: Disable the security software and check if the printer works.

  Warning: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

  Method 2: You can turn off the Windows Firewall and see if you can print.

  1. Press the Windows key +X key.
  2. Select Control Panel.
  3. Click on the firewallof Windows .
  4. Select enable the Windows Firewall On or off on the right next to the sign.
  5. Select the radio buttons Turn off firewall under Private and Public network settings

  Warning: after reviewing the issue, turn on the firewall.

  Please provide the exact point of the software & OS installed on your system. Also check if it is there any update available for the software after going through "help > check updates.

  Follow this thread to reset the Acrobat preferences:- How to reset preference settings in format Acrobat.

  You can check after connecting this scanner locally to the system if asked its connected on network & then look for the same thing.

• Bars & Tone - why don't the Bars & tone section be the only thing that exports?

  Hello, I have a video of 72 min.  I used bars and your just beep audio during a section of 2 min.  I have not much experience but here's what I did: I cut razor section 2 min.  Then, I pulled in the Bars and tone and removed Bars. Everything appears and sounds great until I have to export.  It exports only the section min. 2 I have razor cut and bleeped audio.  Does anyone know why exports all 72 minutes of video?  Thank you.

  I have a HP 2542, it's for my dad, he wants to use it only as a standalone Copier, no pc attached, just lift the lid put the papoer to press on print, then get a copy at the other end. How simple is that? BUT the scanner will scan only of letter size and the original is A4 so the end of Moose is off, how do I change the scanning a4 area? This should be so simple and yet I can not find where to change it! I installed the printer on my laptop, but all the settings I found said A4 already, but the printer scans stubbornly letter! I need help before the printer and hurt my foot!

• OfficeJet pro 8600 more: 2 black vertical line when scanning only

  I get 2 vertical black lines while scanning using the ADF. This does NOT happen when you use flat bed scanning. Also, this does not happen with copies in the ADF or flat bed - scan only using the car power.

  Not an expert on your device, but if you look on the side of the adf, where the paper feeds, you open the lid to the scanner glass is displayed.  Now on the left side is where the adf feed above to scan paper is on the side left where there will be some dirt or material causing lines.  Usually, you can take the copy that came out and line up so you can see the dots making line.  Sometimes, you need to use your nails to kind of scratch material out of the glass.  I usually rub really hard with some windex first, and if that does not work, I line up the and scrape the residue out of the glass.  Again, it will be on the left side of the window in an inch on the left side.

  I recently bought a new laptop with Windows 7 Edition Home Premium preinstalled.  I use a HP Laserjet 3055 multifunction device as my scanner.  I do a lot of scanning.  With my previous Setup and Windows XP very well worked, quick and reliable scanner.  I do mostly from documents by scanning in the form of pdf files.  With Windows 7, there is a function of scan and fax in the start menu.  The scan function does not provide a pdf format, only .tiff, .jpeg, etc..  Despite this, Adobe on its website indicates that Windows 7 is completely compatible with AdobeReader 9 which is the pdf program I work with that.  I know that the reader do not create pdf documents but in my old configuration, I used 7 Player and never had a problem of scanning hard copy as a pdf document.  Can someone help me?

  It would have been a function of the software provided with the scanner.
  The scanned image has been wrapped in PDF or OCR software there that output in pdf format.

  Check with HP, if your old software will work. I doubt it and think that you will have to find programs to create PDF files you want.

  Adobe Reader, in any version, has nothing to do with the way that PDF files have been created. It's just a program used to display.

  I am trying to scan my Officejet Officejet Pro 8500 has more eAiO scan to my iMac (Mac OS X 10.6.8).) IT scans only part of the document is scanned. However, when I copy it, the entire document is printed. I was looking for, if I could change this on the officet, or the system of preferences on my mac, but couldn't find anything on the 8500. On mac, I could change something, but it was only the scans on insiders from my computer.

  Scanning directly from the Officejet comes in very handy when the digitization of books, with one hand, I have to push it and the iMac is not in reach of the officejet...

  Otherwise, I am very satisfied with the printer and everything works fine...

  Please specify the exect option that you use to scan from the control panel of the device.

  What exect icon are you clicking after selecting the scam?

  If it is computer, try to update the latest version of the driver and check if the Scan shortcuts Manager do not appear:

  Click the Apple icon, then software updated. Be sure to select any update HP available.

  If you don't see the specific option yet, you will need to delete all HP software installed completely and install the latest version:

  * Please note that the following steps will delete all HP software installed.

  1. click on menu go (click the desktop, then watch the menu in the bar at the top of the page)
  2. Select Applications
  3 select the Hewlett-Packard folder
  4. double-click on uninstall HP application
  5 follow the uninstall to prompt to select a device to uninstall
  6. press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Cmd keys on the keyboard at the same time as you click on uninstall
  7 approve any prompt to uninstall all HP software.

  Download and install the latest driver below:

  Finally, update the latest driver by clicking the Apple icon, then software updated.

  The HP Officejet Pro 8610 software click on scan a document or Photo.

  Ensure that all source scan as use charger (if installed) documents and not as the glass flat.

  If that doesn't help, can make you a copy of the feeder by selecting copy > start copying in black from the rpinter Panel?
