  • A WiFi in Windows Server 2008 R2

    Hi guys,.

I hope that there is someone out there who can advise on my problem. About two months ago, I replaced my Windows 7 with Windows Server 2008 R2 and my computer is just work smoothly! However, I'm fighting majorly with the Wi - Fi system in Windows Server. I installed the Service of WLAN via Server Manager and also received hardware drivers installed for my computer manufacturer. Given that my Bluetooth and Wi - Fi adapter working together, these two services are turned on when I press the button wireless on my PC.

Bluetooth works fine however, the wi - fi does not work as it should. First of all, when scanning of available networks, it picks up my router and ADSL connection. When I click on Connect, the system tries to connect then returns "Windows cannot connect to the billion. Diagnose Windows won't get me anywhere. So I turn the wireless card on market and stop several times, but he is not still not connect. I then left for about 30 minutes and tried to log in again, but failed once more. I thought I would try once more and then all of a sudden, the system connects. In addition, it is noted that I uninstalled Service wireless LAN, rebooted, removed all adapters wireless, rebooted, re-installed the wireless LAN, rebooted, has and does not always connect. But after constantly clicking on connect, and a new attempt to establish a connection, the system at some point eventually connects to the network.

Everything connects instantly as my BlackBerry, iPhone and HTC's Android. It's just my computer that experiences this problem. Any advice on this subject?

I just migrated to Server 2003 r2 to Server 2008 r2 in my company. I have a pretty good work for all users of wired & wireless on Server 2003 r2, but once I upgraded to the counter and Server 2008 r2 user wireless can not connect to the server but Wired user works very well.

  • Using Server 2008 R2 64-bit models in Lab Manager 2.5

I created a template with Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit; enabled installed VMware tools and LM.  But when I use the model in a configuration that the LM does not seem to work, the machine is not renamed, and now is waiting for activation.  Also, I get an error when the virtual machine tries to run the autoconfig.vbs on login.

I understand that LM 2.5 does not support Server 2008, but is anyone aware of any workaround that I can put in place for this model is available to be used.  I really don't want to have to active post that we have only a limited deployment configuration Server 2008 activation available.

    All suggestions are well appecicated.

    -Greg

    Greg,

Lab Manager 2.5 is not a the code for Windows 2008 R2 support.  Even if you have a template, it will customize ever since LM tools does not even what is Windows 2008 R2.

The activation of Windows 2008 R2 component is due to hardware changes in the deployment of the model (new SID, UUID, NIC MAC addresses) and is a bit of a wait.

I don't know of a workaround or the other and I have a kit of Lab Manager 2.5 around tinkering with since it's already past end of life care.

    Kind regards

  • Satellite C50-B16T - slow WiFi connection using battery power

    Hello

I have a new Satellite C50-B16T and discovered that when I take it off the power, wifi is slowing down as HELL, to the point that I can't even use it and have to connect it to the power.

I saw a few solutions on a TX adjustment, but my Satellite actually doesn't have this option, and if this is the case, I don't know how to find it and why it is happening.
Would really appreciate if anyone has any suggestions, since my laptop is now essentially a desktop all the time, which makes its pretty useless goal...

Go to-> WLan card device manager-> properties-> tab power management

Here, uncheck the option that allows the system to disable or control the unit in order to save energy.

Also check the tab 'Advanced' for possible energy saving options.

Perhaps you could provide some details about your laptop model and the BONE that is preinstalled on this laptop?

The operating system is up to date?
The local laptops network card supports WEP encryption?
Have you used the correct encryption code?

Just, I solved the problem I had.

It turns out, there, there were two questions... first concealing the second.

SQL Web browser has not been activated.  solution: in properties SQL server configuration manager, transformed the startup to automatic mode and activated the service.

Microsoft Visual Studio project property targetdatasourcefolder had a server name that precedes the name of the folder. Removed the name of the server.  This works.

    Everything unfolds right now.

I have successfully connected to the database, I thank you all for your help.  It was a combination of errors of syntax and configurations that had to be changed.
