Wikipedia on Sansa players?

Hi, I found an article on how to get Wikipedia on an iPod, and I was wondering if you could do the same for sansa players, the link to the article is http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-install-wikipedia-on-your-ipod/

It is possible on the iPod as people did the alternative firmware for it. This is not possible on the "rocket" until Rockbox is available.

Fix. From a user perspective, the v1 and v2 are functionally identical, with the same characteristics.

  • Can I change the ID3 tags in mp3 IN the Sansa players?

I want to change the tags in my opinion, but I don't want to copy them all into a folder, then change them and then put them in. Is there a way I can change the songs inside of the view, or is there no way?

If your player is in MSC Mode, you set the directory that Mp3tag uses as the folder that contains the music on your player, then change.

  • Sansa Clip Zip battery does not charge, goes directly to the screen of the song

It's my third Sansa MP3 players.  The first was a Sansa Fuze with the round button.  Like that one but my husband needed more that I did it I gave it to him.  He is old, but the player is still so today.

The second was a Sansa Fuze + with the touchpad.  The touchpad has been way too sensitive but I need to play only two songs for sleep therapy while I was fine with it until the battery suddenly stopped charging a few months ago, I posted my problems in the Sansa Fuze + forum.  After trying a few suggestions, I finally accepted that he was a Goner.

I bought this Sansa Clip Zip 4 G, thinking that should last at least for a while because I use every day.  In fact, I needed only when I had disorders of sleep during the night;  I probably used it once every two weeks or more.  I used my cell phone to the device, had no problems until now.

The last time that I loaded it was 2 weeks, to 98% full - the thing never indicated 100% while it was a little weird.  In any case, I had problems sleeping two nights ago so I took out the Clip Zip and noticed that the battery still had plenty of juice left.  This morning I checked the battery, he had 68%, but I thought I needed could again tonight so better it load up, just in case where.

I connected it to my computer, but it did not show "connected" screen  Instead, he went straight to the last song I listened to.  I thought it was weird so I turned off the player then tried again.  Of course, he went directly to the screen of the song.  I noticed that the battery icon was showing 'filler '.  I thought that if I left it connected to the pc long enough IT would eventually deducted.  Two hours later, I checked the computer and it says that the drive battery was dangerously low.  I disconnected and then reconnected and this time he said 98% charged.  I loaded a bit more just in case so I used the player for about 15 minutes and the player turns off.  Plugged into the pc and now it says battery is extremely low, while the last hours do not charge the battery, but it drains pretty!

My last attempt was to plug into a wall charger and guess what?  He went directly to the screen of the song once again.  Contrary to connect to the computer, I could actually turn off the player but this way does not charge the battery, or.   It's exactly the same problem as my second player, the Sansa Fuze +.

I bought the last two players from Sansa, simply because I really liked the first which of course had been abandoned a long time ago.  I don't know if I have bad luck or it is just an issue joint Sansa players but one way or the other I don't buy any Sansa more in the future.  He is a big name that comes with the big disappointment!

You can also try a reset by pressing and hold the power button for 20-30 seconds. Release it and then turn it on normally and see how it behaves.

By your description of the message "dangerously low" you get then plug it into your computer, which tells me that you use MTP mode on the player (or default automatic default, MTP). MTP mode can be pretty weird; better to use MSC mode unless you have need to PSG for "protected" content or DRM files such as Rhapsody or audio in your library or Audible books. The small "crirically" message is a bug in Windows 7 (using MTP mode) that Microsoft did not consider important enough to fix.

  • Sansa Clip + playback only 32 gb to 64 gb MicroSD

I apologize if this has already been posted, but I'm desperate for a solution at this stage.

I recently bought a Sansa Clip + 4 GB and a 64 GB MicroSD card. According to the instruction on many forums, I used FAT32 format on the map. However, the info panel Sansa Clip + bed that the card provides only 32 GB. Am I missing something?

    Thank you.

My entire library of music (45 GB) fits on the map, but much of the music is not displayed on the device.

So why, if you have correctly transferred 45 GB of music to the card, what you say it is only reading 32 GB? Looks like it works for me. More likely is the fact that the Clip + (and all Sansa players also) have a limitation of the database, which you have probably exceeded. This is why it is not see or view some files.

If I remember correctly the limit of the database on the more the model is around 5000 titles, according to the length of the titles, images embedded in the ID3 tag, and other criteria. If this is the case and you have exceeded the design of the original firmware, the only option for you (in order to use the full capacity of the card) is to install and use Rockbox (3rd party) firmware.

  • Music already on my new sansa mp3 player?

There is the music already on my new sansa mp3 player. Is this normal?

Yes, his normat.  There are the songs preloaded on sansa players.

  • No connection / loading plug by models change Sansa upgrades to their products.

I'm looking at the "rocket" for my first mp3 player.  I want to invest in Accessories for this product that will be usable for future mp3 Sansa players, if I switch to a future model.

Sansa retains the same configuration of plug connectivity to older models like the e260 they use with the "rocket".  Or I will arise to get new sheets of food / fm transmitters / systems of speakers if I stay with the Sansa brand for many years to come.

I hope that if I am the brand Sansa - configuration of the plug will remain consistent as new models come out?  What are the chances?  What has been the recent history of the company?

    Thank you

The c200, e200, and view all use the same connector. I can't be sure of all the others, but I think a few other models use the same connector as well.

  • Time limit for each music file?

I have a problem with the music pieces long on my sport clip.

Securities which the Sport Clip jump is on 17minutes length - these are AAC (mp4) files taken from 276kbs.

I dragged the albums by record - other channels in the same folder play fine. I have a few titles affected in this way, not only one.

Would help to rip the tracks to a lower data rate, or am I limited to a certain period of time.

Longer AAC files are indeed problematic with the Sansa players that support this format. You can consider converting to mp3.

  • Clip 8 GB don't organize music files

I have several ripped CD I want to put on my 8 G Clip.  The songs were torn like MP3s using Sound Juicer.  After copy in the directory of the music of the Clip and the disassembly, the Clip said to update the database, as expected, but there is no organization of music - no album, no name of artist - all tracks are in the unknown group.  Using EasyTag program I can see the artist and album tags on mp3 files ripped when I get the Clip.

    The clip firmware is V02.0116A

I have tried everything I know - any suggestions?

    Thank you very much.

Tags cannot be written in the format preferred by the Sansa players. They should be ID3v2.3 ISO 8859-1 (other formats may cause all sorts of weird behavior). I don't know if they can be saved in this format with EasyTag, but it's simple to do with MP3Tag.

The problem is probably not the player, but your headphones. Once you are unsure that you configure your Zip 'North America' and not ' Europe "(Europe est volume plafonné), if she always seems to calm it is these headphones.". "  Despite what suggests them care on paper, in reality the HD201 need power to sound decent and very good. Mine were essentially useless with Sansa players unless I added an external headphone amplifier into the mix.

  • C200 can overload?

    Hello, everyone.

I recently bought a c240 and use the USB port to charge and transfer files. When I looked online for spare AC (wall outlet) USB Chargers, I found one that says he has a 'smart' chip that recognizes a fully charged battery and goes into screensaver mode to avoid overload. This implies that the c200 relies on this smart adapter to stop loading in full, which would mean that the camera itself is not turned off when the battery is full. If this is the case, then I keep an eye out for a full battery when connected to a PC via USB to avoid overload?

    Any input is greatly appreciated.

Don't know not what is really designed for the USB loader you were looking at, but for all players from Sansa charger has not control loads fancy inside stuff. Sansa players use their own processor to control load and stop to load when the battery is full (be it pluggind in a computer or an external charger).

  • Display Clip not as bright as the black clip of money?

My Silver 4 GB Clip arrived today ' hui - I flashed by (. 30) firmware and I noticed that the display is not * nearly * as clear as the display on my 2 GB Black model (same firmware).

Both Clips are of type V1.

Display on the silver model looks no brighter than the display on my expresses (nowhere near as bright as the Clip black model).

Is this normal? (Is there some kind of filter on display on the silver model Clip and expresses it?  I * think * I remember reading somewhere that there is some Sansa players with a filter/coating anti-reflective (or reflective?) on the screen, but don't remember the details.)

I guess I can share plates with one of my ten $ 1/GB refurbs I bought for parts a year from now when the warranty expires.  Heck of a PITA to have to squint at this screen dim pimped out for a year, however.

  • Some songs not listed is not in the list?

For some reason, some of the albums that I put on my expansion card are not on the list of Albums on the player.  They appear in the list of songs, but I want to have in the list of albums for easy accessibility.  Y at - it a specific tag format to sort the best?

Sansa players are more compatible with the tags to ID3v2.3 ISO 8859-1 (Latin).

If the tags are incomplete or absent, elements will be included in the category "unknown." Have you checked the list of Albums for these topics?

  • Problem of overmodulation (specific sound card)

When I plug my rocket for the tips I have at school, the volume is not quite high enough. I can turn it up, but finally, I get this hash and the canvas to mattress in the music. It occurs on ONE of the two boards that I have access. The only literal difference is the amount of amps and monitors (same amps and monitors portable system) and brands Council. I'm having this problem on our mixer Yamaha GA32/12. It works perfectly fine with the Mackie CR1604-VLZ 16 channel Mic/Line console.

The 'clean' is the one I'm having problems with. It works very well with other NON-Sansa players to their max volume.

(Sorry for the horrible quality... blame my 1.3 mega pixel phone as I did not have access to a camera)

On the Yamaha, you played with the Gain (the nob albums on the channel)? I'd have my rocket to about 50% volume, set the 25% of the way to the top of the handle, then adjust the gain of approximately 50% (12:00 ish), then drag the slider to the top, if you top it and then take it down and turn the gain up to about 65% and repeat until you get a good sound. If you get the gain up to the max, and there are always bad sound, then you can cut back the gain of one, but and turn slightly to the top of the "rocket". The key is to find the combination of the volume on three controllers, so it is no more to modulate.
