Will be a work of Microsoft Bluetrack Wireless Mouse 5000 with a Microsoft 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000 USB mouse receiver V2.0?

I have a Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000 to set keyboard/mouse Bluetrack. I need a new transmitter/receiver for the mouse as the keyboard is connected to another computer and using the transmitter/receiver provided with the set. My mouse works with a different transmitter/receiver?

Hello

1. you have the Microsoft transceiver?

Try the steps below to connect to Microsoft Transreciver.

(a) press and hold the Bluetooth button on the bottom of the mouse. If your device is equipped with a battery indicator light, it flashes red/green to indicate that the device is discoverable.

(b) on your computer, open the Bluetooth software. The Bluetooth software is usually found Control Panel in the start menu. For more information, see open the Bluetooth software below.

(c) in the devices tab, click Add

(d) follow the instructions that appear on the screen.

(e) If you are prompted for a passkey, select no password. The Microsoft Bluetooth mouse devices do not work with a random passkey.

You can see the following article for more information:

  • Wireless keyboard not working anymore... wireless mouse still works.

My keyboard just stopped working for me while I was typing... put batteries in... reset... pulled the usb dongle... He... moving mouse and keyboard use the same dongle... mouse continued to work... any ideas? Thank you.

    can help...

What they don't tell you in ANY textbook, is that the blue light on the USB receiver is actually a reset button!  With the receiver plugged into a USB port, I pushed the button/light until he began to blink.  What would you like to do next is to press the blue button (unlit) on the bottom of the keyboard until the blue light on the receiver STOPS flashing.  At this point, my keyboard started working again, and the mouse was fine.

An old mouse (Logitech) still works.  What should I do to tell my laptop to recognize the wired mouse iHome?  Thank you.

  • Connection of the wireless mouse problem

Hope this is the right forum section.

in any case, I have a Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 8000 with a v3.0 transmitter/receiver for Bluetooth (usb of course).  Since I have a new laptop a few months ago, I had some problems with the use of this mouse.  It does sometimes not work when I turn on the computer, and sometimes at random, it freezes or disconnects, be it it works all of a sudden without reason.  All I have to do to remedy is cut to the mouse, unplug the receiver, then turn it on and plug it in again.  Sounds easy, but it's extremely irritating.  When I got to the laptop, I tried to install the mouse driver.  I always had a message saying "failed to install software" or something like that.  Once accidentally, I managed to get the combine usb configured as a general bluetooth receiver, who did my computer recognize it rather than the built-in bluetooth.  The mouse "works" with or without the installed driver software and with or without bed in the lit bluetooth receiver. With the random disconnects always, of course.  This mouse works perfectly with my old laptop and windows xp.

News of the computer: Dell Studio, with Windows Vista home premium.  Built in bluetooth adapter (which apparently is a bad thing?).

Anyway, how I have difficulty or prevent this happening?  Is there a way to get the driver to install properly and who's going to fix it? Better yet, is it possible to make my work bluilt bluetooth for this mouse receiver, so I don't have to use the usb receiver?

    Any help much appreciated.
    Thank you.

  • How do you install a regular mouse wireless - mouse-no, I want to install is not wireless, but plugs into the computer

Can Hiow I install a plugin of the mouse.

A standard USB mouse is supported natively by Windows itself and requires no driver work.

Simply plug waiting for 30 to 45 seconds, and it should work. This should work even for the wireless mouse.

  • My wireless mouse works perfectly on the login screen, but after booting will work only in 6 inches of the receiver, ideas why?

I have a Logitech Cordless mouse click on more, I used it for 3 years and more without problem, but the last two days, it will not work properly once my pc has initialization completed, while I see quite a number of things may stop working all together the thing extremely limited scope baffled me. I have not made any hardware changes recently and uninstalled the last 2 bits of software I installed [Lego Indiana Jones and update Adobe Reader] but no difference, another wireless mouse [Technika 2.4 ghz tknm110, cheap and nasty, but does the job] works very well. Hello

    1. What is the mouse model number?

2 have you checked Logitech mouse in another computer with the receiver?

    3. using Bluetooth or USB or a wireless mouse?

  • Microsoft Wireless mouse not working not properly in Excel.

Original title: using the buttons of foam in Excell

    Reference: Microsoft Wireless 5000 foam

I use the foam buttons in Excel to navigate backward/forward "TABs". It is very useful and is in fact the reason to get a 2 buttons and scroll mouse 4-way.

BUT... it does not work with this Wireless foam 5000. He has worked with my old Logitech... that would mean Microsoft foams are not completely compatible with Microsoft Software?...

I downloaded the latest version of IntelliPoint v8.1.239.0 but nothing has changed.
I am running XP with Office 2007.
    Any idea?

It seems that there are some 8.2 updated drivers for the mouse on the Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000 Technical Support page.  It might be useful to install to see if it solves the problem.

  • The Microsoft Wireless mouse right button does not work

The right button of the mouse on my Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 does not - at first I thought that it was a hardware problem, but when I used the mouse properties/control panel to change the buttons on the mouse, the right button worked and the left mouse button does not, which leads me to believe that it is related to the software/driver.
I have the latest version of the driver/Intellipoint software.  I am running Win 7 32 bit on a Lenovo ThinkPad T410.
Change the port USB did not help; the problem persists, no matter which USB port I use for the receiver.
Reinstall the software Intellipoint also did not help.
It is a recent issue; I had the mouse for several months and it has worked well upward until a few days ago.
Googling the problem that leads me to believe that it is a common problem, although most people seem to think it's a hardware problem.

    Hello

Run the Fixit described in the article:

I also suggest you to remove the batteries in the mouse and keep it idle for 10-20 minutes. Insert the batteries and check it out.

  • Microsoft wireless mouse stopped after 6 months of work: happened twice in two days

Windows 7 x 64. I've had the system for 6 months. Yesterday did this problem start happening.
The Microsoft wireless mouse pointer freezes in the middle of the screen (but my wireless keyboard IOGear, that I had also six months, still works fine and the computer itself is not suspended but is still running fine - it's not a blocking system general but isolated on the mouse wireless device and related things).
    I tried the following:
    1. Changing the battery on the mouse (ensuring battery was good, of course).
    2. People with disabilities/re-enabled the HID device.
    3. Deleted then recreated the HID device.
    4. Searched updated drivers (Windows reports mine are up to date)
    5. Remove and reinsert the battery.
    6. Stop and restart.
    7. Remove and reinsert the battery.
Finally yesterday, after reinserting the battery after a reboot, the mouse is back to life. However, today the same problem happened again. I tried it again, but nothing helped. I also downloaded the new Bluetooth drivers on the ASUS site and install them.  Restarted.  No joy.
BTW, Windows always reports the pointing HID device and Microsoft Wireless dongle work correctly, even if the mouse pointer is frozen in the middle of the screen.
