Win 7 USB connection problem disconnect/connect Cycl

Is anyone else having problems with their Droid Turbo and a Win7 PC connection? I got my first camera at the end of November. When I initially plugged on my PC, the AutoPlay of Windows kept popping up window and the device would be cycle as if it had been disconnected. The AutoPlay window closes never alone, and I need to close from a few to several 10s of windows (based on how long I left it plugged in).

I was able to get a stable connection after installing the Motorola Device Manager software.

After a problem without report, Verizon has replaced the original phone with a new phone. The new phone is the same cycle of disconnection/reconnection anytime it is plugged. Software Motorola device Managger says that the software is up to date.

I connected the phone to a Linux computer and had no problem copying files back. The connection is remained established until I got the USB cable.

I rebooted the phone and the PC several times that I care to count.

Also has anyone seen this problem? More importanly, does anyone have a solution?

My phone (in MTP mode, without debugging) shows that the VIDID 22 b 8: 2ea4. On several occasions, I saw the PID also be 2ea5 and 2ea8. (Maybe it's with debugging on, perhaps a PTP mode).

A few times, the device is presented as "Unknown device" with no details in the Device Manager.

I plugged the phone in each USB port on the computer.

If I knew that the files to remove from Windows to replace the driver I'd do it. If I knew that the right driver I tell Windows to use. So far I have not found one that works.

James best would be to connect the device in MTP, USB OFF debug mode. In Device Manager, locate the device and click on uninstall. At the prompt to uninstall to make sure that you CHECK DELETE the driver software. Uninstall device of motorcycle, bike mobility Manager drivers and nothing of another "bike Mobility" brand. I use a disc cleaner (ccleaner) delete left over remnants of uninstalled product files. I first do a system cache/clean and repeat several times until the cache gets up, nothing to remove. After that it's over, I run the registry cleaner. After scanning, select "Questions of difficulty" to the quick click reg backup YES, choose a SAFE place 'FIX ALL '. Once done, repeat until there are no more problems found. After all this is finished, STOP, do not restart. Computer to start up, run CCleaner again just to make sure everything is clean, so before you plug in your phone, go to and install Motorola Device Manager/USB Drivers. Let the full install and reboot. In developer options, revoke the authorization of debugging. Connect the phone in MTP mode to the PC and let Win7 to install the drivers. Change the connection of the device to PTP repeat, then finally change device USB debugging and let windows install the drivers. Let us know if this helped or hurt.

    Need a few details.

    What tablet you are asking about?

    What OS is on your PC?

    Tried another cable?

    Usual suggestion is to unplug the devices and reboot the computer and tablet.  Check the settings of the tablet in storage/settings / < icon options, top right - looks like 3 blocks stacked vertically > / USB connection to the computer.

    See if the PSG is checked.  It is suitable for the transfer of all types of files.  Connect the devices.  If still no joy, try to uncheck MTP and PTP.  This should make the Tablet appear as a camera.

    I had to do with an old Win XP computer so that he can "wake up" and make the connection.  I then switched to the PSG and all was good!

    Hi - I have a HP Elitebook6930P running Windows 7 Ultimate x 64 and a printer HP Deskjet 970Cxi with a USB connection.

    I try to get printing to work.

    There is a 970Cxi pilot in the laptop, but it won't work.

    HP have a support document - "HP printers - installing year Alternate Print Driver in Windows 7 for a USB connection cable" - and I tried to follow this exactly a number of times without success.

    The problem is that it is inaccurate and contains instructions that do not work and refers to procedures that do not exist in Windows 7.

    Therefore, I have no success in the conclusion. I can not communicate with HP for assistance, or no explanation as to why their document will not so blatant.

  • Install HP Officejet 5740 &amp; USB connection problems

    I recently bought a HP all-in-one OfficeJet 5740 printer for my desktop Dell XPS 8700-(Windows 8.1) and attempted to install, using the USB connection option. I was informed by the instructions of configuration to go online to a Dell website for the latest version of the installation software to download if I had access to the internet. I have DL'ed software and it apparently installed OK-(aucune erreur ou quoi que ce soit pour indiquer qu'il n'a pas abouti). Once finished with the installation of the software, I got to the window option connection-(wireless, usb cable ethernet cable). I chose the option of usb cable, however after having to then connect the USB cable to the printer and the computer via the usb cable, it tries to connect, but alerted me, stating; "Failed connection to printer, printer was not able to connect successfully via the usb cable. I tried this several times-(par moi-même et remote assist avec Support ordinateur Dell). I had the same problem last week when he tried with my old HP Officejet 6100, which I wanted to replace. I ran the program of doctor printing/scanning HP on the 5740 and it lists the printer and the software installed, however the HP printer install lists assistant the complete software package for the printer is not installed and some basic features drivers may be missing or damaged.     Thanks for responding, but I was able to get the printer installed with the help of diagnostic, remotely in line with my computer manufacturer support staff. He was determined to be a software problem because of a recent update of Windows 8.1. Thanks for the effort!

    Try changing some settings on the router wireless.

    Connect the computer to the router with the Ethernet cable. Open the router configuration page. Go to the wireless tab and the manual value configuration view. Change the channel to 11 wireless. Make sure that the network is set to mixed. Save the settings.

    Go to wireless security sub tab and change the wireless WPA2 with AES security mode. Save the settings.

    Click the tab under advanced wireless settings change the tag to 75 interval, RTS threshold and fragmentation to 2304. Save the settings. Now try to connect to the network again.

    You bet it's your page layout. As I said, the Epson driver has many offers for the same size paper. In addition, do NOT use Auto expand in this selection.

    It is a problem that we have seen previously, mainly when the OS loads, all the material is detected. In some cases USB devices are detected, but the BONE did not complete its driver loading process, causing a race condition. You are able to recover only when supply you either cycle the USB device or disconnect and reconnect the device.

    I have a camcoder Gigashot K40. When I copied the files on my PC, camcorder battery sat. I connected AC voltage, camcoder and continuous copy operation. After that I disconnected PC camera as usual.
    The problem started when I turned my camera next time. When I turn on camcoder, after 2-3 seconds, it entered in USB connection mode (but without text "Mode high speed USB" on the screen).

    Only way to enter normal mode for recording videos is pushing after lighting camcoder menu.
    I tried to do the soft reset, I pushed the RESET button, I tried to reload the firmware - but it does not help.
    Any ideas? I can solve the problem by myself or must I go to service?

    This problem has been resolved.

    The book of Z 17 HP installed their software: HP Client Security.

    This software prevents the use of external hard drives and flash drives in its default settings.

    Each customer is on their own in discoverinv and the resolution of this problem.

    HP did wrong by not providing any information on the inside of this product the HP support assistant.

    Here's a consumer might encounter problems:

    The HP support assistant on Z book provides updates of drivers for windows, but the support phone number book mobile z is not listed.  There is a phone number, but it is a regular support, not z book mobile support or elite support.  Mobile Z book users are supposed to call the number fo elite press and the number is for a regular support on the wizard of book z mobile support.  Support assistant has cat support method and the HP chat support is not trained to book support z mobile.  There is a feature to contact the technical support and the transfer of data to the technician, and again, it goes to regular support who is not trained to support the mobile z book.  If you call the phone number provided some of the choices on the automated line includes desktop, laptop and office work.  If you choose Notepad you won't get z mobile workstation support.  If you choose work center you will get no support of z book mobile workstation.  Instead, you must have someone answer and then ask to be redirect to support elite.  On the first call, you never know that the support you are looking for is elite support until they give you this information on the next contact.

    After many hours spent barely pull on the problems of not being able to view files on an external hard drive or external dirve flash, I was able to change this HP software.  It now unfortunately produces a humming noise when parts of it are displayed.  This has not yet been set.

    Hope this helps all who are unable to view the files on their external hard drives and external flash drives.

    The thin client HP security prevents click right change of ownership and prevent changes, right-click in the security, etc..  Change of Director fails also as the client security administrator HP overides too.

    So end users must change the HP Thin Client Security so that it does not block access to files on external hard drives or flash drives.

  • Mouse USB, connection loss

    I have a HPE170F of desktop running Windows 7 Home.  About a week or two ago I noticed that the USB devices are briefly drop their connections.

    There are a number of ways, it is the case, but the most common is a slight hiccup in my mouse works.  It is even more obvious and boring everything at stake, there will be a break in the mouse works before returning to normal.

    I went into Device Manager, removed and hubs USB again detected and disabled the option to allow the computer to turn off the devices.  It made no difference.

    I have run virus scans, auditor system files and verified that everything is up to date.

    Am that I up to this got to be a motherboard problem?

    Thanks for the suggestion, but it led naturally to a little problem of chickens and eggs.  This HP desktop computer has only USB (wells and firewire) ports, so at some point during the withdrawal of all USB devices, I eventually remove those for the keyboard and mouse, which means of course I have to restart with the power switch.

    I think I can have tracked down the problem, and I think it was a number of things.  I think that my mouse original (the HP base that came with the computer) crumbles.  I don't know why it does this, but my registry contained dozens of entries for my HP mouse (perhaps even one for each time it was unplugged and reconnected).  All entries in mouse are perhaps why the other mice were who have disorders.

    I cleaned the registry and I changed to a mouse of difference and so far I have not seen the problem again.

    I got the XPS 15 (9530, end 2013) a few days earlier with widnows 8.1 installed on it and since day 1 I'm running into a weird problem. All my USB devices keeps disconnecting. If its my phone (HTC a M8) or my portable hard drives. I tried several cables and the result is the same.

    I tried to connect all the devices on the different laptops and they work very well except for my laptop. One thing that I know you guys is that if I have my phone connected with the laptop, it charges great however, I am unable to navigate any file on my phone because it keeps disconnecting.

    Any help?

    Hi, I have a new blackberry Q5 for 1 week and I used Blackberry Desktop to transfer data from my previous BB Curve 9100. Then I installed the BB link for my BB set Q5 upgraded to the latest OS 10.1 (at the time). Everything worked fine on my Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit laptop, USB connected.

    Then, today, I wanted to connect my BB Q5 via USB because I got a notification to upgrade to Mac OS 10.2. But when I connect the BB to my laptop USB port, nothing is really happening, even the Windows Device Manager does nothing.

    I tried with 2 different USB cable and same problem. Also, (perhaps another problem), when I connect the USB cable, my BB Q5 tells me "you should use the charger supplied for accusing him faster" (a kind of message)... Even when I connect using the charger provided in the socket...! ? ! (WTF)...

    I've rechecked setting and under the link 'Blackberry' and it is activated: I
    the 'Mobile use network' is disabled, of course I don't want to use the 4G Mobile to connect with link BB and I can see the name of my laptop displays at the bottom of the screen of option 'Link BB' on my BB device.

    I finally got it to work:

    -J' have completely stop my Blackberry Q5 terminal and disconnected from the USB.

    -In Windows Device Manager, I can see the virtual private network of Blackberry in the Group of network adapters, which is correct. But the Terminal Blackberry did not appear.

    -Plug the USB cable into my device Blackberry Q5 and I turned on with the switch on the top.

    -From there, Windows has detected the terminal and installed the drivers from the Terminal Blackberry (automatically supplied with the BB Link software)

    - And link began to say automatically that the BB is correctly connected via USB.

    -When I turn on the USB mass storage, it works as well (and disconnect link at the same time), so I have to stop mass storage USB in BB Q5 settings do connect to Link via the USB cable.

  • Fickle USB connectivity

    Not sure where my problem is here, but I am unable to maintain a compatible USB connection of my TouchPad at one of my home computers - 2 HP and Dell systems.  The question is when he tries to detect the USB key as a drive.  USB connects, disconnects, connects, disconnects...  Sometimes it connect everything immediately and then disconnect a minute or two later for no reason apparent.

    The other symptoms, I've noticed is that when I try to disconnect the TouchPad connects it to "eject" or by disconnecting a USB device, the TouchPad still gives me this error "Ouch!" he didn't disconnect properly even if Windows says that it filled disconnecting it correctly.

    Not sure if there is any good practice troubleshooting USB, or ways to determine if I get a regular diet to my USB ports, but I'm open to help.

    Don't know why you get a flaky connection, but the extent of the "eject" the TouchPad, make sure to use the actual "Eject" command (right-click on the device in Windows Explorer / my computer and choose "Eject").

    We saw a lot of people here using the dialogue 'remove the device safely' in Windows, rather than the ejection.  The first does not work properly and may cause some problems with the touchpad.

    It is a question (especially) on and off (sometimes). I have worked with Sony and have sometimes succeeded. With the help of the 'extra' 16 GB card works to connect and load. My problem is when I use the video stored in the internal memory and using the usb connection. If/when I ever actually loading the data from the internal memory (I have actually already loaded most, but not the most recent), I intend in the future to use only the memory card "exernal. I don't seem to have any connection problem "devices" of my USB ports.

    When I connect the camcorder usb to my desktop (using different connections of USB drive) pc, my computer does not recognize the fittings of the. When I use another card memory USB for same usb connections, the computer recognizes the drive. There have been a few times when the camcorder has acknowledged the connection of the camcorder (most recently on June 12) - but this does not occur at thie time. If I take the memory card 16 GB additional of the camcorder and connect it to the connection of memory card, the computer has always recognized it.

    My problem is trying to get the video from the cameras internal memory via the USB connection.

    I think if/when can I get these loaded files, I have the intention of is no longer using the internal memory of the camera and always use the extra memory card.
