Win 7: utorrent running OS gel

This occurs in Win 7 32 & 64.

At no time Win 7 freezes that moving from one wireless network to another as uTorrent is running. (touch wood, darn nice OS)

Don't know ' bout other programs 'torrent', because I do not use em. And do not want to.

Have around six "public" WiFi channels I use for the WiFi internet access. (lucky guy) :)

One or two blocks surfing for site sharing, if I have uTorrent running then change access points. Then freeze the BONES.

Those "stuck" download with uTorrent. It's just when I go to search.

Nada.

Yes all software & hardware are updated. No, not that that makes a difference.

PS. stayed in uTorrent site and elsewhere. Nada

Personally just a gene, as I understand it a ' lil sucks just the code. But let's not people a reason to upgrade to a Linux operating system.

uTorrent or any other torrent program is not allowed to be used. Therefore, support will not be provided.

  • Toshiba Satellite with no sound Win 7 HP running

I have recently upgraded the OS on my Toshiba Satellite from Vista HP SP2 from Win 7 HP.  During the upgrade, I've changed the HARD drive to a SDS-more on this later.  During the successful installation of Win 7 HP-Microsoft really improved the installation process (I remember Windows 3.1 and the sequential insertion without end of the diskettes).  The new system works like a charm EXCEPT waking the computer from sleep.  The noise disappeared.   I've updated;  rolled back;  reinstalled audio drivers to the original manufacturer driver.  Still no positive result.  The only resolution is to reboot which takes all of about 30 seconds with the SDS.  This is not really acceptable since everything I'm getting must be closed/re-opened when the laptop is back.

I don't mean to change to another manufacturer of the computer, I want to solve this problem.  I'm tenacious, I'm sure that if I'm having problems others are also good too.  We put our collective thinking caps together to solve this problem.

    Hogwash. It is misleading.

You can use the tab Ccleaner registry with no ill effects. You also have the option to go back IF you have a problem. It is a registry cleaner that IS safe to use. If not, why is it so popular and widely recommended?

It can also get rid of a lot of scrap surplus registry strings where UN-installers did not fully do their job.
However, for the Post Op number two is the way to go. Go to the Toshiba website, look for the support page for your machine, download and install the specific audio drivers for W7. If there is none, you can try installing the Vista drivers in compatibility mode - you can get a certain amount of nombreauses.
    See you soon,.

  • Satellite C660 stuck in an infinite loop of BSOD after upgrade to win 10

Wow what a disaster, this is a machine under windows 7-32 bit Satellite C660 PSC1GA-01E01M stuck in an infinite loop of BSOD.

The lappy said that it was ok to upgrade to windows 10 so... Yes, I did.
Now its stuck in a loop without end of BSOD.

So I decided to use the recover option and reinstall windows 7 and then move from there.
After mega downloads updates and finally got to the stage where there was no update on the left to get, so I decided to upgrade to windows 10 even once.

Now stuck in an endless loop of BSOD again.

Can someone point me to the driver who is a failure, I can get into SafeMode ok, Device Manager has 2 problems

    (1) is under OTHER DEVICES is an unknown device
    (2) is generic pnp monitor

I tried from Toshiba Web site for updates of drivers for 32-bit windows 8 thinking this could be the best step but the links are bad and the page Web said sorry loser at home...

Also no network, if I try to logging for the safe mode with networking, he returned to the screens of BSOD...

    HELP PLEASE

Toshiba has released a list with all Toshiba models supported for upgrading to Windows 10
    http://win10upgrade.Toshiba.com/swup...SPX?region=TEG

Satellite C660 PSC1GA is not in the list, which means that this model is not supported to win 10 and will not get win 10 drivers.

However the Win 10 must run on this device, because it meets the essential physical requirements.

I guess the BSOD loop arise due to some drivers which are not entirely compatible Win 10 and probably these drivers must be removed before making the Win 10 update.

To check the compatibility follow this procedure:

    • Right-click on the icon 'Get Windows 10' (on the right side of the taskbar), then click on "Check the status of your upgrade".
    • In the app to get Windows 10, click on the menu: (3 lines) and then click on "Check your PC.
    • Now you should see the list of compatibility issues

Also this kind of problem could be fixed by Microsoft update, as mentioned in this article:

  • ProBook 4530 s: win 10 results ProBook s 4530 in no Wi - Fi

    Good afternoon, all!

I tried to upgrade a ProBook s 4530 on Windows 10.  Everything looks good, until I try to connect to Wi - Fi.  The widget simply says 'Impossible to connect wireless' and there is no showing why Event Viewer entry.

The wired adapter works fine.  They both have the Realtek card.  I tried the driver Windows 8.1 without success.  The hard switch is activated and the LED is white.  The BIOS is the latest & greatest.  Also triple-checked the router password without the THST wire - OK, too!

Without indication of the BONE as to what is happening, I may restore Win 7 and either start again or give up.  I have an other s I tried to level; the without wire was fine, but there was something in the services that refresh the office and break the RDP and VPN connections.  So I'm a little worried that these laptops are not always stretch to win 10.

Tips to win 10 to run on this?

    Thanks for all the research!

    Hello:

If your laptop is RTL8188CE wireless card, it does not work on W10.

I didn't even know that there was a W8.1 driver for him.  I thought that this card made up to a maximum of W8.

Why upgrade to the Intel card wlan card does not appear in the maintenance manual... Chapter 3, page 25.

That should work well on W10.  Not only that, but then you get a dual band with bluetooth card.

    Intel Centrino® Advanced-N 6230 HP Part # 636672-001

The only caution is you must get this card, and it must have the HP part # on it or it will not work because of the white list of BIOS HP has on these models.

You should be able to find opportunity but in State tested and functional at a great price on eBay by questioning by the part number.

I'll make sure that you see the HP part number indicated for the item in the picture list.

  • k001a 23 want no admin has to win 8.1 recovery

    Hi team,

my envy touch 23, Win 8.1locked running. I rebooted and happening right now in diagnostic mode.  When I try to choose advanced options such as the restoration of the system or the Startup Repair, he says he needs an administrator account to carry this point, but there is no such account on this computer.

There is only one account for the computer, a Windows account that has administrator rights, then I do not understand this message.

I don't have Windows automatically updated so that it was not in the middle of nothing when it restarts.

While most of the data files is saved, I need to recover my email folders before anything drastic like reset is done.  I tried to create a bootable Linux USB flash drive to enter the files but I can not even start, despite changes to the BIOS so that it the first option.

    So, 2 problems:

    1. lack of an administrator account.

    2. impossible to boot from the flash drive.

I send you this since another device HP - Touchsmart Sleekbook want also winning 8.1.  I think I'd have the same problems with lack of admin account?

    Thanks for your help

Have you tried to 'Legacy Boot Sources' in the F9 menu via the attached USB?

Have you tried a bootable CD/DVD instead of USB?

Have you tried HP PC Diagnostics UEFI to test the hardware of the system running?

You may have a hardware failure that prevents you from starting Windows.

    Screening of hardware failures

If nothing else works you may need to remove the hard drive, install it in an external hard drive enclosure and then plug it into another PC to access your files.

  • I have windows 7 and have need of windows 95/98 to run a CD I just bought.

I have an almost new laptop that has windows 7 Home Edition installed on it by default. My problem is I just ordered this CD, I used to play, but when it happened and I tried to install it, I discovered that it is only compatible with windows 95/98.

I want to know if I can buy or download a patch, which will allow me to run games for windows 95/98 without deleting or damaging windows 7.

Please help, what should I do? Or I am the ground?

I seriously doubt on an available for those old games compatibility fix. It's a time difficult (Win 95/98), because the games were designed for different graphics modes, then. If they use an old variety of DirectX, chances are, you can try a compatibility mode on Win 7 (right click on 'setup' / 'install' and '% game%.exe', 'compatibility' tab and select ' Windows 95 ' / "Win 98 / ME" + "Run as Administrator"). If they use a previous graphics mode, you can get better with an emulator BACK (www.dosbox.com or www.scummvm.org). These programs emulate the drivers, devices and memory settings which are not allowed in the "protected mode" of modern systems. "192GO should be enough for everyone." I had to reinstall the drivers on my sucks TC-605 Win 8.1 running everything seems to work ok, except that I get a no audio output device installed.  I have tried everything I can think of, including the removal and reinstall all the drivers, deactivation and reactivation of the hardware in the Device Manager.  I think that perhaps there is a secret in order that the Intel Chipset drivers are installed before the Realtek audio drivers?  I've seen a lot of reports on various web sites and some that reference the Windows Audio service is restarted.  I tried ALL these "fixes" several times, but no luck!  Any help to diagnose and resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, it should work. Support/drivers for you particular model to check and see if they offer XP drivers and then you are good to go.

  • 'system' process in the Task Manager running @ 50 to 100%

Just reinstalled xp family and for some reason, the 'system' process in the Task Manager runs 100% gel about the custom of all the system let me download updates update freezes keyboard and touch pad and wont stop. tried to reinstall it 4 times same thing every time

You need to find the specific system process that takes all (there are a lot of threads related to the 'System' process) of the CPU resources and slow down your PC.

To do this Process Explorer, try:
    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/Sysinternals/bb896653.aspx
    SysInternals Forums: http://forum.sysinternals.com/

Worth reading: the process system CPU spikes
    http://blogs.technet.com/markrussinovich/archive/2008/04/07/3031251.aspx

Once you have Process Explorer installed and running:
In the task bar, select view and check 'show process Tree.
as well as the options 'display the lower pane '.
Move the cursor of your mouse over any column in the right pane and
Make a right click and check the following boxes:
    "Command line" and "Version".
(This will provide some of the detailed information you need)

Then click on the CPU column to sort processes by CPU usage %.
Then click on extend the process 'System' or 'Explorer' to expand and identify the specific subprocess using most or all the resources.
Then click the sub-process or process listed under the system process that is using most or all the CPU %.
Once the process or subprocess is highlighted, do a right click and select the options listed: online search. This should bring that out there on the web about this process.

Note: some entries as solution, System (as explained above) process Explorer and svchost entries can should be extended to view details (sup process), in this case click on the + to the left of the entrance.
