Win32 5 error code printing through Remote Desktop

I connect to a system windows server 2008 R2 by using remote desktop.  When I try to print on my local printer (HP laserjet 1200 redirected) nothing happens.  I checked the log of events on the server and there is an entry for my attempt to print indicating that a win32 error code 5 has occurred - access denied.  Access to what?  Any ideas how I can fix this problem.

It suggests also I restart the coil fie - no idea how I make cela or is it a Kipper!

I'm having a repeatable error trying to use remote desktop in Windows 7 Pro.

    The error I get is:

Your computer could not connect to another session from the console on the remote computer, because you already have a current console session.

I don't have sssion another current.  I get this error right after a fresh reboot.  A Mater of fact due to multiple problems, I got with a new computer, I have re-installed Windows on another hard drive to make sure that everything was fresh.  I get the same error.

I am connected with administrator privileges and I got this error the first time I tried to establish a session.  It's the same problem I had with the other installation of Windows.  Can someone point me to a solution?  I'm relatively new to versions of Windows 7, but not at the earliest.

Thanks to all who can help.

  • Network printer not available through Remote Desktop on some workstations

We have workstations XP SP3, the latest updates, with a network printer that is attached to the whole. Printing works locally by all workstations
but it does not work on some of them remote desktop. The printer driver is installed on the server.

The workstations that cannot print remote desktop can see the printer but not with 'redirected' name.

How can this problem be solved?

  • Cannot print from remote desktop

    Original title "Printing problem" remote

I work over the desktop connection remote for another company. Recently, all of a sudden, I can't print when I am connected remotely (I've selected the "Printers" checkbox on the Options/Local tab resources before opening the Office remotely.)

When I bought a new Kodak printer it started while I got the Kodak printer. I have a HP officejet 4500 and it worked fine (I still have it at home and it prints fine from my laptop) so when I went to replace I bought the same machine only a slightly newer version. When I am connected remotely, it recognizes the new printer and acts like it sends but nothing happens and it has no build up in the Q.

  • Cannot print using Remote Desktop connection

I have a computer that we will called XP. XP was XP loaded on this subject. It is on a home network with ethernet etc. It has a USB Samsung CLP315 printer attached to it, which we will call SAMSUNG.  XP print SAMSUNG without any problem. SAMSUNG is shared and has the latest drivers.

    Configuration on XP
    Pilot # is 3.04.85:44
Port: USB001 virtual printer for USB Port
Sharing installed additional drivers Intel environment Windows 2000 or XP

Using Remote Desktop connection, I connect to my computer at work, that we will call the WORK that has Windows 7 above and is part of a local network. When you use Word for example on WORK, I should be able to print on SAMSUNG on XP. However SAMSUNG on XP does not present as a printer available. However, I can print from JOB printers shared on the local network or locally connected. Unfortunately, it is of limited use to me because I can not physically get the printed paper, or to know if the printed page correctly until the next day, I get to work.

I have the Settings Options on the remote desktop connection when I connect XP to WORK remotely. I think that this complies with the info I found on the knowledge base.

On the general tab, I have the correct name of the computer and user. I have "allow me to save credentials" deselected.

Local "resources" tab, "materials and resources local printers" and "Clipboard" are selected. Under 'More', 'smart cards' and 'Cards series' are selected. Similarly 'Readers' and 'Supported peripheral Plug - n Play' and their subitems are all selected.

    Tab programs not specified

If there is other information in the options that may be relevant, please advise and I will detail later.

Already XP used to via the desktop connection to remotely connect to another computer to WORK which took place of XP. When I'd do things on the WORK and wanted to print with SAMSUNG on XP, SAMSUNG has shown on the list of available printers and would print WORK jobs

On the local network at the office, WORK is connected and print to a shared printer on a computer showroom (XP) which is identical to the SAMSUNG for model # and driver. So by my way of thinking, the driver is already loaded and functioning.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Print to remote desktop connection

I use Windows Vista Home Premium.  I use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to a remote computer by using Microsoft Server 2003. I need to print documents on the remote computer here at home.  My printer is connected wireless.  I can't find out how to print a document from the remote computer.  Any ideas?

  • 1053 error Code Print spooler could not start

My print spooler does not start and I get the error code 1053

    Hi troy,

I've personally encountered this error and had to reinstall my system, but try this:

    • Simultaneously press the keys Ctrl + Win and should bring up a run dialog box
    • Type C:\System32\Spool\Printers in the Run dialog box and a windows Explorer should appear
    • In the folder, delete all the files in the folder

This will delete the documents you have sent to the printer. Then, you start the "Print spooler" service in this way:

    • Simultaneously press the keys Ctrl + Win and should bring up a run dialog box
    • Type net start "print spooler".

Try this and let me know how it goes.

  • CP1518: Installing drivers without this printer for remote desktop use. How?

Problem: I'm trying to install the printer drivers for a HP Color Laserjet CP1518 printer on a Windows XP machine without having the printer connected physically, but by using the driver installation program there is no option for this.

Why:  My CP1518 is here with me in one city, but there is another system of Windows XP in another town I frequently using Office Access distance.  Remote Desktop allows you to print documents on the remote computer and have them redirected to go out on your local printer.  Before this is possible, you must install the printer driver on the remote computer (where he is NOT stuck).  This has always worked great for me with the 6Ps Laserjet and Laserjet 2300 s, and I seem to remember a downloadable "Advanced" installation any which allowed you to simply install the drivers (for example, for COMPUTER technicians who handle settles on a large number of machines on a local network).

Deadlock: The CP1518 driver install program insists that the printer be detected during the installation process, or you leave.  Is there a way around this approach to "hold your hand" to get the files installed on this machine?  Is there an alternative, stripped, installation driver available?  Any other ideas?

Advocacy: Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you

    Jason

    Hi Jasonmckay12,

Many printers have not a "profession or HE use only driver." Those who do not yet have the functionality you're looking for, but you will need the complete software functionality. This will include the Toolbox to install the driver without the printer at hand.

This is the software you need, and it is compatible with XP and Vista.

  • Vista modifies the default printer in Remote Desktop on Wind2008 R2 and outlook signature

We have a configuration of business using Windows 2008R2 mode TS servers, with mainly XP clients.  The question we have is that when personal home and uses a Vista computer, it upset the Nice order that we have about our printers (default printer configuration changes) and we also lose the links to electronic signatures.

This only happens for Vista home users, not XP and W7 not.   I found a http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972600/en-au article that alludes to my question, but it is a Win 2008, nto Win2008 R2 server.

I want people to be able to print at home, but with printers being mixed, sometimes confidential documents are sent to incorrect printers once that staff into the office.  It's also painful to have to set the email signature every morning.

  • Error with printing through file .sh

    Hi all

We are currently learning Documaker and we were given an existing workspace to work with. In the workspace, there's a .sh file during execution is expected to generate PDFs from an XML file. From the moment of execution, the generated pdf file is 0 bytes and so cannot be opened. In the errfile.dat, we find the following error:

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    GenData

Transaction error report - system timestamp: Thu apr 30 13:24:34 2014

    DM10292: < RULXMLExtract() > error: cannot run function < DXMLoadXMLRecs() >.

End of Transaction error report - system timestamp: Thu apr 30 13:24:34 2014

    Elapsed time: 0 seconds

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What is the problem with our method? Thank you!

First of all, if you use the INI options specified, then I don't think you want the XMLFileExtract rule in the AFGJOB. It is redundant and could be a problem?

If you still get the first error that you have demonstrated in the message home that generally would mean that XML could be loaded and/or analyzed. It is perhaps not a valid XML file, you point to due to error in construction.

You may indicate your level Documaker version and patch. That could give someone a hint that allows them to offer a suggestion.

Whenever I am faced with something like this, I usually try to validate my assumptions. For example, I could change the first transaction first to point to a non-existent file. Then when I run, I expect to get an error about the missing file. If you get the same error, it means that either you are not running it that you think or it may mean that it is the problem at hand - that you do not point to a file that can be found.

If the first step gives you the missing file error, then I correct and then try pointing a file XML - not the one you are trying to import. See if that gives you the same error or another. Etc etc.
