Win7 upgrade Vista

I have a HP Pavilion dv7 - 1133cl. I upgraded from Vista to Win7 and lost my wireless connection. I updated my Bios and it worked. Now it does not work and the updated bios version was never recorded. I just tried updating the Bios again, but it's the same version I already have. Any help would be appreciated. I love my laptop, but it is worth nothing without my wireless.

I solved my quandry! I jumped the battery, which means I did a cold start my system, and I now have my back wireless. Don't know if this will work for everyone, but he did it for me.

  • Some problems of Vista Win7 upgrade

    Hello!
My OS Equium A100-338 has been upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7.
Since what the Toshiba Movie Factory and the Ulead MovieWriter disappeard and now she also does not recognize SD cards. I checked toshiba Web site and I couldn't find the answer...
I have just the recovery for windows vista CD and I don't know what to do to recover the software (?), and how to solve the problem of SD card.
I'm just a user and do not understand the ins and outs of computers...
Is anyone out there that can help?

    Thank you so much!

    Silvia

I agree with Akuma. There must be a compatibility issue and if these apps n t work it is the price you pay for Win7 upgrade. These additional requests from Toshiba are not downloadable, so what you can do is to use Windows Movie maker or other applications.

What you can do, is to buy more recent Ulead Movie Maker/Writer designed for Win7.

I checked the Toshiba download page, and there is no driver for the SD card reader. This means that you can try to use the Vista driver or Win7 update is the only driver.
    Check please the two options.

I need your support that how I'll upgrade 32-bit to Windows 7 from Vista.

    Kind regards.

You can buy a Win7 upgrade disc in a PC shop and install under Vista. Do a clean, if possible install (backup of your important data first).
I don't know which laptop model you have, but check the site of Toshiba for Win7 drivers.

  • Upgrade Vista Home premium to Vista professional

I've finally modernize to win7 Pro but who want to avoid a clean install. Can I upgrade my Vista Home premium to professional vista and then install the win 7 Pro?

    It's true.

Well, you can also buy a Full Windows 7 Pro directly to the output.

But you can upgrade Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate; It's a good alternative...

Read the upgrade paths to this link I gave you.

    And read the above.

    Ultimate includes Pro software.

  • Can I install Win7 upgrade on another computer after upgrade Win8 on my computer?

Initially, my computer came with Vista installed. Three years ago, I bought an upgrade to Win7 and installed. A few months ago, I bought and installed an upgrade of Win8 on the same computer. I have another computer running Vista, and I was wondering if I could use the Win7 upgrade license to upgrade this computer. Technically, the upgrade of Win8 could meet the requirements with the Vista license on the original computer. I run Win7 on the other computer without having to buy a new license. Is this possible? The upgrade disks are details of Microsoft.

Yes, it is possible. Because the machine was originally license with a qualification license (Vista), he would take the place of this license, thus freeing the Windows 7 Upgrade to serve elsewhere. So, Yes, you can transfer it to other Vista machine.

  • Can I use a Win7 upgrade version to do a clean install?

    Hello world

I have Vista 64 bit on a desktop computer and want to upgrade to Win7 64-bit, the arrival of my version of the software upgrade.  It seems that the experts agree most do a clean install is the way to go.  My question is, if I backup my computer and reformat, I'll be able to install the new operating system on the Win7 upgrade disk or if it will not have recognized that Vista was still there and not install?  In this case, do I need to buy a full version of Win7 instead... even if I replace a Vista license with the clean install?

Any idea would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Yes, you can perform a clean installation with the Windows 7 upgrade version. Just start on the Windows Vista desktop, insert the Windows 7 DVD click "install now". When the menu appears, select custom (advanced option) to a clean install procedure.

    Hey,.

This means that you are looking for a new display driver for Windows 7, right?

Well, normally as you can get on the official website of Toshiba:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & download > download drivers

I checked the Web from Toshiba site and there is a display driver for your model. Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit, both are supported and it s version 8.634.1

    It is useful for you?

    Hello

I put t know what you want to hear exactly now, but you can download all drivers here:

As far as I know that this model P200 belongs to the PSPB6 series.

In general, Vista and Windows 7, I can say that new OS runs much faster and has never had a problem yet. I can recommend it! :)

  • Upgrade Vista of Moduslink

I thought some of you would like to know that I have received confirmation of Moduslink that my "free" upgrade Vista is delivered within 4 to 6 weeks.

The order was placed on 2 February 2007, so if I get the time limits, the order will take 12 weeks to fill!

Also, if I do not receive the upgrade by May 1, 2007, I have to communicate with them. (watch this space) and don't hold your bandwidth!

A shame IMHO - Microsoft agent for this upgrade leaves much to be desired!

    Hi John

Please don't be crazy on me, but why put you it all on the Toshiba support forum?
For Vista any upgrade program is responsible for company Moduslink. If you're angry try to clarify all this with them.
