Can't change rip location media windows player
I can't rip music with my windows media player. I checked the tab "rip music" on the media players 'options '. There is no address. I pressed the buttont to "change" to get the program to select the location where my music is saved, it did not work. Just to see if something might work on the tab, I checked the box "eject the CD after extraction", hit apply and an error window open which displays a message "the parameter extraction of music could not be applied.". I thought maybe that this program is corrupted, but I can't find an icon to uninstall windows media player. What I have then checked the internet. I've seen anyone online had a program of compensation for this specific problem, but I didn't think it was smart to download on a site that I know nothing. What do you think I should do?

Ideas:
- You have problems with programs
- Error messages
- Recent changes to your computer
- What you have already tried to solve the problem
you're not giving us enough information. When did it stop working? If it workedpreviously, I would recommend first trying to run Windows Media Player AND WindowsMedia Center, and then again. Control Panel, programs and features, tourWindows feature turn on or off. Uncheck the two programs, restart. Go back and turn themboth on reboot. This solve your problem? Otherwise, you should try a systemRestore to a point where everything worked normally, maybe early August? No one there mp3 rocket? When I download a song now all of a sudden, it will not be displayed in my Media Player, why?
Hello
1. what operating system is installed on the computer?2. are you referring to Windows Media Player?3. What is the file format of the song? When you play a file on your computer or on the Internet, the Player automatically adds the file to your library if it isn't already in your library. The reader does not automatically add a file that you play from removable storage media, a device removable storage, or on a shared network folder. For example, if you play a file that is stored on a CompactFlash card a data CD, or in a shared folder on another computer on your network, the player will not automatically add the file to your library.Method 1:
Open the troubleshooter in the Windows Media Player library
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-Windows-Media-Player-library-Troubleshooter
Method 2:Follow the steps mentioned below:Windows Media Player output.
b. Click Start, run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player and then click OK.
c. Select all files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.Note you don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.
d. restart Windows Media Player.
If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:
a. exit Windows Media Player.
b. Click Start, click Run, type % LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft and then click OK.
c. Select the Media Player folder, and then click on Delete on the file menu.
d. restart Windows Media Player.

Windows Media Center/player will not play my AVCHD videos
I have a Canon Vixia HF R300 that came with a CD-ROM utility transfer, but not with the video ver.2 (Pixela) browser, which is supposed to work with my camera, but does not come with it and I can't find a download for it. I was able to transfer videos on my computer but not able to watch videos, much less edit. My videos have been saved in a folder called TVD_AVCHD, then in separate folders with .cpi and .mts 'pages' and a separate JPEG image. I tried to click on all of these files and used Windows Media Center and Media Player, but it says that no videos not found. Help, please. I know that my videos are okay because I can visualize in my camcorder and my TV.
Thank you!

Problems with reorded/live TV in Windows Media Center/player
Having recently updated the drivers for my graphics (Nvidea GeForce GTX 460 SE) Windows Media Player/Center refuses to show any video image during an attempt to play live TV or TV recorded previously. I only get audio.
My drivers are up to date and the only thing I can think that I've changed has been updated my graphic drivers. This is television shows that were working before.
I have been using a third-party program to play these in the meantime, but obviously it is not compatible with my remote windows.
Any suggestions? If it all started after updating the graphics driver, you can easily restore the driver.
Try to card tv tuner driver update. Visit the tv tuner card manufacturer's Web site to download and install the latest version of the driver.
Another thing, you could try resets WMC: -.
Run the Setup again.
Open WMC > tasks > settings > General > installation Windows Media Center > rerun the installation
Does that help?
If the above does not help then try to reset WMC: -.
Open Control Panel > uninstall a program > turn Windows features on or off > scroll multimedia features > uncheck the box against Windows Media Center > follow the instructions on the screen > Reboot > open again to turn Windows features on or off in the control panel > scroll multimedia features > check the box against Windows Media Center.
Now reconfigure WMC again.
I would also suggest you to uninstall any third-party application you are using at the moment.

"Other libraries" adding Windows Media in Windows Media Center player.
So, I am absolutely delighted by the distance streaming media in Windows Media Player. I run a guitar shop, and it was really nice to have all of my music at home, on my desk, can be played in the store. As opposed to everything I hold on my laptop.
But the thing is that I run Windows Media Center on the TV, and all of my media that are on my laptop looks fantastic up there, covers of albums and video library and everything. But the thing is that I can not add the media that I'm streaming from remote media streaming option in Windows Media Center.
I can play media in Windows Media Player, and it will appear in Windows Media Center, but without album art. And I can not play videos in Windows Media Center unless I open them manually with Windows Media Center.
So basically, I ask if it is possible to add media in my "other libraries" using option of streaming WMP remote in the library in Windows Media Center?
Thank you much for the help!
-Tazzlyn
If I understand what you're asking, you want to be able to use Internet in WMPstreaming between two places, but with the Media Center interface? You can notdo this.If you are using two computers on the same HOME, inside the media networkCenter interface, you can add folders to the library from another computer.Tasks, settings, multimedia libraryOn Saturday, October 16, 2010 18:28:51 + 0000, Tazzlyn wrote:>>> So, I ask if it is possible to add media in my "other libraries" using option of streaming WMP remote in the library in Windows Media Center?Barb Bowman
