  When I try to compile any FPGA VI with LabVIEW2013 or 2012 SP1, I get the following error:

  "Year error occurred trying to connect to this server compilation."

  Intermediate files are not generated, the error message appears immediately after I have select build of build specification or I click the run arrow.

  I use the local server for compilation.

  The equipment I use: CompactRIO Evaluation Board - SbRIO9636, DELL laptop, Intel core2 Duo T5800, 2 GHz, 3 GB RAM, Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, SP1.

  The intermediate files CAN be generated without any problems if I select in the menu. If I run the FPGA application compile worker, a ToolTip message specifying that "FPGA compile runs", but after a few seconds, another message appears: newspaper several attempts were unsuccessful - please see attached images.

  At first, I thought that my firewall (Comodo 6.3) is the reason for this, so I disabled it but nothing changed. Then I tried to fix LabVIEW FPGA and XILINX tools with the firewall disabled but din do not solve the problem. I tried with LabVIEW SP1 of 2012 and 2013.

  We would like that you try to reset the NIAuth database by following these steps:

  1. go to Windows Services (Bring up Windows with Ctrl + Alt + Delete Task Manager, click the Services tab, click the Services button at the bottom right of the window.

  2 stop the NI Application Web Server and NI System Web Server services in this order (right click, stopping service and select).

  2 backup, and then delete all the files under %PROGRAMDATA%\National Instruments\NIAuth: registry.bin and commitmark.

  3. run NI System Web Server and NI Application Web Server services in this order.

  4. navigate to http://localhost:3580 / connection of an IE on the local computer and try to log in with username "admin" and password empty. Succeeds, the server will return one signed in as: message from the admin.

  After you follow these steps, try and connect to the FPGA compiler, and then let me know what are the results.

  I was under the impression that my FPGA LV code can be compiled by several workers when I bought and installed the FPGA compile farm Toolkit.  What I have, however, is that each work of compilation can only be compiled by a worker.  I expect that a single compilation work can be divided by the number of workers.

  So I see that a worker of computers will compile two computers of worker work.  It's just that a worker will be compiled at the same time.

  I just misunderstand the features to compile farm Toolkit or is it an installation problem?

  No, a unique compilation cannot be shared between workers. Nature of the beast-FPGA "compilation" is not something that lends itself to parallelism. You have the advantage that the build tools run much faster under linux, however.

  We are unable to connect to the RDSH farm with connector windows (Portal of the app). We use vWorkspace 8 and the error won't happen on windows connector. Majority of customers are customers with WyseThinOS light wyse with integrated connector vworkspace, and from there everything works fine.

  But on windows we are able to connect to the farm, user that gets a list of published applications, but when they try to start nothing happen. It just displays the session starts, this race forever. After killing this user 'login window' get the error:

  In the settings of your AppPortal you have enabled in the Firewall/Proxy section Proxy Server Traversal. If this option is enabled and a power of Attorney is not configured, then this might affect your ability to connect.

  I am trying to scan a file dump with Windbg. I get a PDB file not found error for msxml4.dll. Is there a PDB file for this version somewhere, or how I can work around the error and analyze the dump without a pdb file file.

• WinDbg.exe requires the .natvis file

  I'm reading the .dmp files that I get from program crashes and everywhere where I look online told me that the tool of go - to for this task is windbg. I have windbg installed but now I find to complain that it cannot find all the files ".natvis" when I try to read my .dmp files.

  Can someone please tell me where I can get the .natvis file (s) I need?

  While the analysis of debugger Windows isn't rocket science, it has a very steep learning curve.  He usually takes to rebuild 500 DMP until it starts to make any sense and participates a lot & lots of reading.

  When you close Outlook the outlook process (outlook.exe) actually ends, as seen in the Task Manager > processes tab?

  And if not, you complete the process, then can you stop?

• Can I restrict or limit internet access on a farm in RDS?

  Location:
  -need to allow remote access to the farm of RDS Internet of remote sites (without VPN)
  -Sessions close require access to the intranet using IE (Dynamics CRM)
  -Some users do not use internet in a responsible manner (wasting time, inappropriate sites, etc.)
  -need ability to prevent browsing of the sessions

  I know that we could set up a proxy server (IAS or similar) at Headquarters but I can't handle this being rather long and frustrating for users (and so myself).  I have also no prior experience in the implementation or management of a proxy server (just to know that they can cache and filter web site traffic), so one for 300 active users on the portal management would be a problem.

  If I want to avoid using a proxy server at Headquarters can I do a GPO or something to prevent casual internet browsing from just the servers in the farm?  If we can allow access to specific sites (white list) which would be an interesting option, but not a condition in this regard.

  We review to implement a form of filtering on remote sites affected (using K9 agents on computers personal or similar) of the internet, so we should just remove the back door of the use of the farm to browse the internet and circumvent the once connected local filtering.

  Remote sites use stations XP and Win7, configured in mode working group.  Each site has 2 to 4 computers.  Remote sites share their internet access with computers not relating to staff, so we are reluctant to restrict internet access for all users on the site (using the subscription services provider of firewall for example).  There are more than 20 remote sites.

  The farm is built using the 2008r2sp1 server.  We have a RDS (also a dedicated redirector) gateway and 4 session host servers.

  Any ideas?
