  Acrobat has inaugurated this morning and was greeted by a nice intro, showing the new features in the latest version. Once this update has been 'tabs', now grouped in the top bar. Great, I thought a great way to have multiple documents open, yet easily accessible. BUT WAIT!  Part of my workflow is open several documents to combine, edit, and share pages between different PDF files. I do this by displaying two or more files together on the screen at the same time using the menu command: "window > tile > vertically '." I would then have several PDF files in view and selecting 'Organization pages' I can "drag-n-drop" pages between each file. With this latest version of the 'tabs' do not allow this command menu to work at all! Adobe destroy you my workflow smooth only once.

  Not sure how I can get this back to the way it was none other than: drag each file in a new document, one at a time until they are separated, then use the 'Tile' menu command and it should work now.

  Help. Everyone you have other ideas please?

  Adobe that you really do need to be more careful. Now, the search for third party method. Yids.

  It seems that if you just need to turn off tabs in general preferences.

  I recently bought a new computer HP Envy laptop and improved Windows 8 on wi ndows 8.1.  Recently my "shop".

  Tile used the french language and French ads.  Why?   I also received a message from Microsoft to save my laptop in France.  I already have it registered in the United Kingdom.  Why this is happening and how can I change the language in "Shop".

  You can abandon this tile and create a new using the details of the UK Microsoft store.  Check the display language. It seems as if it may have been inadvertently changed to UK English to French.

  What version of Windows 8.1 do you have? Is - this Windows 8.1 standard or Pro?

  I have install Win8 on my laptop last Saturday, and until today, everything was fine.  I woke up the computer this morning to find a screen empty and so I did a hard reboot.  Windows starts up quickly, but when I go to the splash screen or accounts of woman my, the tiles are frozen and unresponsive.  (I tried shutting down and scoring several times, always with the same result).  I can see the Directory users on my home network, is not a problem with my wireless connection.  I see a bit of the hard disk activity.  My mouse works fine.  When I ctrl-alt-del, I have the option of bringing the Task Manager, but it does not appear when I try.

  Let me add that the keyboard shortcuts Win + C is not show bar charms, Win + I in the same way does not work, but this victory by itself causes a visible refreshment at the start screen, without however to solve my problem.

  Any ideas?  I searched but did not find anyone with enough of this problem.

  I'd be willing to do a clean install, but I don't have any media, just my product key.  I could do a clean install of Windows 7, but I don't know how to do the upgrade from there without having to pay for Win8 again, I refuse to do.

  Good new! I write from my computer thawed! After posting last night I tried some diagnostics and restorations. Not sure what ended by freeing the tiles, but I'll give you a brief overview because it really wasn't too difficult.

  My biggest problem at first was trying to figure out how to start in safe mode. Good Ol ' F8 just has not been cut. After a search on my phone for a response, I read that you can force the computer to load the new zone of Win8 now SHIFT Boot Options while clicking Restart in Power Options.

  Once I started it I ran a few built in diagnosis has absolutely nothing. Then I went into Options Advanced and also tried the new point Win8 (auto repair) assistance, but who found nothing more. Then I was the restoration of the standard system. Only 1 point then found I had to use it. (NOTE: I don't always have to use the new options to refresh or reset your PC)

  When the computer is restarted, and I logged on the tiles were frozen once again however I noticed one of them - AccuWeather app - a changed status, is no longer displaying an image & temp. There are days. Of course, the computer was still unusable. Progress? I'm not sure. Not much had changed in days perhaps this slightly modified tile help?

  Once more, I rebooted with MAJ & to enter the Boot Options menu. From there I went into start parameters & had the shoe comp. mode without failure. When he did, I had real job tiles! Of course, I didn't use the machine Mode safe in permanence so unsolved problem.

  I tried to search in the charms (Win + C)-> settings-> box to change the settings of PC for any help or solutions. Nothing jumped & the computer wouldn't let me edit/edit all because of Safe Mode boot.

  However, a domain, I could change was "Lock screen apps" (Customize). There (as well as the under - 'choose an application to display detailed status'), I had added AccuWeather. I swapped out for the weather app integrated instead. Try anything, right?

  I left the Safe Mode & restarted the regular operating system... and the tiles have worked! The Office was indeed shortcuts! I could access the Task Manager!

  So here I am.

  No idea if it was the combination of the system restore & AccuWeather removal from the lock screen or just the latter, but for the first time in 5 days I'm able to use my Win8 desktop computer.

  Hope this will be useful in any way to you. Maybe this isn't a problem with the AccuWeather app, but something with the lock screen? No idea really.

  As I have done with so many other actions before, I use the menu Insert. But when I choose window > arrange > tile, it does not have to this article. I tried typing "tile" in the Insert Menu Item dialog box and clicking on search, but which translates into effect > Texture > mosaic tiles. That is not the question I want to

  Right click on the tile and select Enable Live off Tile to see the default value of tiles.

  I'm desperate for help try to solve this problem with my laptop. When I got my laptop (at Christmas) the majority of the tiles on the home screen windows 8 worked, however after a week or two they have gradually stopped working, which is very frustrating.

  When I click on a tile, it opens on the screen but the wheel continues to turn and nothing loads. I spoke to Microsoft online, however, they said that the problem with Toshiba as the laptop was purchased with Windows 8 already integrated.

  Suggestions, they did involving anti-virus and updates did not work.
  The most frustrating part is the Windows tile store does not work so I can't try to updates or new downloads to see if they will not solve the problem.

  Of course, I can use my laptop without the tiles, but I'm upset that I paid extra for Windows 8 and chooses the best part of it not working!

  Any advice on what to do next would be great, thanks in advance.

• Wireless connection drops after 10-20 seconds on Acer Aspire V3-572 - 56T 3 running Windows 8.1

  I have big problems with the network connection Wireless at the office. He sees the network, allows me to enter security credentials, then connects (with connectivity internet confirmed) but gave up after 10-20 seconds. I tried the wireless network to a friend who worked ok without interruption, is certainly nothing wrong with the hardware. I use a brand new Acer Aspire V3 - 572 - T 56, 3 on Windows 8.1, with all the latest drivers/patches loaded and tried to juggle with many advanced settings for the card of network without success. I connected the router to make sure that all the settings, encryption standards, channels etc was corresponding, but the problem is persistent. It has been going on for two days now and is driving me crazy because I really need to work in the office with wifi band. Plug an ethernet cable directly into the router works fine, but it is not the ideal solution (and poses a danger OH & S that he throws on the ground). Can someone help pleeeease!

  By downloading and installing the drivers directly to leave Web site did not help. We will be updating the drivers from the Device Manager.

  a. open the Device Manager.

  b. click right on the A4 TECH PC camera H, select uninstall.

  c. in the same window (Device Manager), right-click on the name of the computer (Titom), select Search the hardware changes.

  d. right-click on the device with the exclamation point, select Update driver software

  e. select Browse my computer for driver software

  f. Select let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer

  g. Select the driver according to your camera model and install.

  h. now check if it works.

• How can I change the color of the background of the active window in Windows 8 (and the text format/color window)?

  In all versions of windows, we could change the color of the active windows (not just the border, but the color of real background in windows as well as the font type and color).  How can I do this in Windows 8?  The option does not appear in the Customization screen.

  Found the fix. Right-click on the desktop and choose "Customize".  Under my themes, choose the high contrast theme (select all). Once this is done, under the themes is a box that will say 'color' "high contrast". Go in there, and you can now customize Windows background, text, hyperlinks, text disabled, Selected text, window pane, Inactive window tile and button. AKA, I have no need to watch a white background in my active windows, which is nice!

  From what I can tell, and through all the research I've done, it doesn't seem to be a way to set the color of the text of the windows tiles 8. the color of the text seems to be chosen automatically based on the perception of windows is how dark/light of the tile.  I am a web designer and I implement the 8 tile windows custom meta tags on some sites so that pinned the bookmark for the site to examine the way I want it.  Here are the tags that are used:

  
  
  

  I am trying to generate a consistent look to match the default theme of windows 8 with a white PNG, white text and color of brands like background of the tile.  The brand's colours are dark enough so that the white air text even better than black, however, windows is the choice black only text and automatically choose white text if I have significantly darken the color tile (which is undesirable).  I don't understand why there is not a tag, or even an option to select one or the other black attribute.  This seems to be a very obvious thing that brands will need to create custom brand tile for their pinned site.

  I know it isn't really an issue here, but since there is no Microsoft Connect site to report bugs/queries on Windows 8, I hope that someone at Microsoft see this.

I don't let not the comments of user eBay that day and was just going to accept that as a loss and move on. maybe buy a intel 6200 double card Bluetooth. This is the weird part... When I was over a friends house, the connected card immediately! I connect to its network without problems, regardless of how many times I try. At Burger King or other places, I get the same message, as I do when I'm home... so what gives? There is actually two places that the card actually work, so it is hard to believe that it is defective. I always carries adapters Wireless USB, in order to get on the internet in any location is not a problem. Are there drivers for this card should I download rather than using what windows 8.1 installed for me? When I choose 'have disk', there is only a set of drivers to the choice. I really want to keep this card, but do not feel like I should remove my wife USB every time it connects somewhere.

  When you open the Photo app, there is a button "play" on the lower left corner (just before the library of Pcitures).  Just click that and it will make a random collage of all your photos the Photo app to his knowledge and constantly pass photos out for new ones.

  Try something but this mode is something I have yet to understand.  No parameters, no restrictions, just a random collage of all the available photos.
