• With no updates for XP SP2, individual users can not use automatic upates to get XP SP 3 like adivsed in the center of downlaod.

  Recently my computer mini Samsung laptop with XP SP 3 (32-bit) [with IE 7 and Microsoft Security Essentials] crashed probably due to virus attack. Provided with the laptop recovery CD was not useful to recover programs. With the help of harware technician, the laptop is running with XP SP2. The data is intact. But I couldn't be updated to SP 3 through automatic updates as UPDATE for SP 2 is abandoned. The Download Center also advises individual users opt for the automatic updates get SP 3, even if this update for SP 2 is no longer available.

  I have XP SP3 installed in your desktop [OEM CD has XP sp 2 only]. Is it possible to save XP SP3 on an external drive and use it to get the SP 3 version into the laptop and activate with the appropriate key.

• Involuntary Explorer that transfer multiple files can not be reversed

  I asked to explore to search for files between 2 dates 2 weeks apart. A large number of folders & files posted correctly. To further reduce the search to a file type, I created a new folder and tried to COPY all found files, so that I could re - search and *.mp4 files only.
  However, it has not copied, but rather began MOVING files to new folder. I cancelled, but not before many files have been moved. I then tried to undo: Ctrl Z - nothing, then CANCEL bar tools change - grayed out and inactive. Or cancel the operation worked.

  So now, I have a very large number of files (1 685) and folders (49) drawn and moved around in my computer D partition, I can't begin to see how to put back in their original locations. The origin of the files has been removed from the file properties and shows that the new folder that was only temporary. I may be able to put most files I had created, but for the rest back! The only good thing is that I assume that there are no Windows system files, or the application files on the D partition.

  I would appreciate advice on how to cancel this disastrous unintended operation.

  There is no cancellation for this action. You can use Ctrl + Z If you write an e-mail or a document. You can try to use the version option found in the properties of the folder. To do this, please follow the following steps:

  I'm not what you mean... Start by describing what tools or methods that you use to extract these pages.

  What you write in the first sentence is not true, however. In the dialogue window extract Pages, you can choose whether or not to delete the extracted pages of the original file and extract them as individual pages or not. If you UN-select both options, you will get a single file that contains the pages you have checked out, and they will not be deleted from the original file.

  There is a problem with your installation of OS X. The easiest way, but not the fastest way to fix it is to reinstall the operating system. Unless you are in a hurry or have measured access to the network, it is what I suggest, especially since I don't know if there are any problems with the installation. Please backup all data before reinstalling. You won't need the backup unless something is wrong.

  The below, advanced shortcut if it works, can save you some downtime (and the cost of a download of several gigabyte, if necessary.)

  1 back up all data.

  2. disconnect all external storage devices.

  3. start in recovery mode. Select a language, if you are prompted. The OS X Utilities appears. One of the options is to install OS X. This is not what you do.

  4. This step is only necessary if you use FileVault 2. If you don't know what's FileVault, you use it. Go to the next step. Otherwise, launch utility disk, then select the icon for the volume FileVault ("Macintosh HD", unless you have given it a different name.) It will be nested under another icon of the disc. Select open in the file menu and enter your login password when you are prompted. Then quit disk utility must be returned to the main screen.

  5. Select get online help. Safari will launch. While in recovery, you will have no access to your Favorites, but you won't need them. Load this web page.

• Want to Phoenix 850-150qe: program file can not be updated as a not enough space on the new computer

  I have a new computer with disk 3 TB initially space.  I have now available 2.60 TB.  I have this simple little card game that has an update of 207 MB of available space required.  Whenever I try to load it, it says "program file can not be updated because of insufficient disk space".   The original game loaded just fine but not the update.  I wrote to the company that has given me a standard introductory text on turn off my antivirus which is nothing to do with my problem.  Someone else has encountered this and if yes, what is your work-around?  I am trying to load it on the C drive with my game so am loading at the right side of the road.

  I solved my problem.  I went back to my computer and I went back to my reliable want 700-074 also having windows installed 10.  My little program works very well and I was able to update the program.  This program was one of the many problems with this computer.
